There are various ways that the U.S. government deceives you. Below are just a few.
Inflation
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says the current month to month inflation rate is .4%. This figure is from month to month. The year over year rate is 3.4%.
These figures do not take into consideration real estate purchases, food and energy costs which are three of the biggest expenditures of American households. These omissions obviously will effect the true rate of inflation so as to make it appear not as bad. Now, if we were to go back to 1950 and calculate the rate of inflation to today it would be 1,289.96%. WOW !!! This number also comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. What this means is that a dollar in 1950 is worth $13.90 compared to todays dollar that is worth about 7 cents. Do you see the loss of buying power caused by long term inflation ? Inflation is caused by printing and borrowing money. Since going off the gold standard in 1971 the government has driven up inflation resulting in a national debt of 40.06 trillion dollars and everyone in the U.S.A. has a share of this debt to the amount of $119,574.00. Since the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913 the dollar has lost about 97% of its purchasing power. While the government refuses to say when the dollar will become worthless that day can not be far away.
Unemployment
The current unemployment rate is 4.1%. This number does not take into account self employed people, college graduates looking for work, people that have exhausted their unemployment benefits and unemployed people who have given up looking for work. This makes the unemployment number look artificially lower than it actually is. The job participation rate is percentage of people 16 years or older who are currently employed or actively looking for work. This rate today is 61.4% which falls short of 100% by 38.6% ; so how can the unemployment rate be only 4.1% ? ANSWER: it can’t. The unemployment numbers are a lie.
Gross Domestic Product
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the total monetary value of all goods and services produced within a country’s borders during a specific time period, usually one year. GDP calculated by the Bureau of Economic Analysis is 1.5% increase in the second quarter of this year. Real GDP is about $24.27 trillion thus far in 2026. These positive numbers fail to consider the $40.06 trillion debt. If you had a million dollars in the bank but were 100 million in debt would you still be a millionaire ? All the U.S. Is doing is living on printed and borrowed money and borrowed time. Eventually the giant bubble will burst and the economy will totally collapse.
By combining inflation, unemployment and GDP effects on the economy we can see that the U.S. government is basically lying to the citizens with bogus numbers to make our economy look much better than it actually is. All three of these government numbers are lies.
Haven’t you ever wondered why a 3 bedroom home with a full basement and bath and a half in 1950 cost $11,500.00 but the same house today costs $246,000.00. That’s more than 21 times more expensive. How about a nice car. In 1950 a premium new car was $3,500.00. Today it’s between $50,000. and 120,000. depending on extra features you might want. No matter what you could buy in 1950 today it will cost about 1,289.96% more.
The Federal Reserve
Another big lie is the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve was created in 1913 by a simple up or down vote in congress. This action turned over the entire nations finances over to a group of private banks and super rich individuals. Article 1 section 8 of the U.S. Constitution gives the power over the nation’s economy to congress alone and cannot be changed except through an amendment to the Constitution but congress, by just a simple up or down vote, gave the power to the Federal Reserve. This was unconstitutional but no politician challenges this fact. The Federal Reserve is illegal. Article 1 section 1 of the constitution contains The non delegation doctrine of the U.S. constitution that prevents congress from ceding or transferring its core legislative powers to any other branch of government or private entities.
The government will of course deny all this information and use confounding and contradictory language to cloud the issue. The truth is this; the U.S. government has been lying to its citizens for years.
