WHEN ?

 

There is a promise in scripture about life after death but the big question is when do we receive this life after we die.  Many believe it is instantly, that our last breath on earth results in our life either in heaven or hell.  Once a person has this mindset it is nearly impossible to change their mind.  This teaching has infiltrated almost all of modern Christianity and has its roots in paganism. Are there any scriptures that tell us plainly when this promise of life after death becomes reality ?  Yes there are and I will list some of them below.

John 6:54 “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my my blood has everlasting life and I will raise them up at the last day.”

John 11:24 “Martha replied, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Acts 24:15 “and I have the same hope in GOD that they themselves cherish, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.”

John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.”

John 6:39 “And this is the will of HIM who sent me, that I shall lose none of all HE has given me, but raise them up at the last day.” 

John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the FATHER who sent me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day.”

2 Timothy 4:8 “Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not to me only but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

The above scriptures tell us about resurrections, about the last day and the appearing of Jesus.  This gives us the time of when everyone will live again and it is in the future at the return of Jesus.  Until that day comes everyone who has died has no life at all.  Even though the scriptures I gave are plain and obvious many still will not believe.

There are many preachers that say Jesus could return at any moment.  In this they are ignorant of the words of Jesus himself on the date of his return.

Matthew 24:36 “But about the day and hour no one knows not the angels in heaven nor the son of man, but my FATHER ONLY.”

The time of the end is a set day, the day Jesus returns. It has been known by the FATHER IN eternity.  It is an appointment.

Daniel 8:19 “and said, behold I will make known to you what will happen in the latter time of wrath, because it concerns the appointed time of the end.”

Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision awaits the appointed time; it testifies to the end and does not lie. Though it lingers wait for it since it will surely come and will not delay.”

Daniel 11:27 “And both of these kings hearts shall bent on evil and they will speak lies to each other at the same table but it will not succeed because the end is still to come at the appointed time.”

Jesus cannot return at any moment because there are other events that must happen first; the rise of the antichrist, the ten kings aligning in a covenant with him and the great tribulation.  We do know that Jesus returns to stop the extinction of humanity by cutting short the time of the great tribulation.  

This return of Jesus Christ will fulfill both whens in this article because his appointed return day is the when and not at any moment as false preachers say and is the when of the first resurrection, the time the promise of living again is fulfilled for the dead in Christ, the church, the elect.  The 1,000 years later another resurrection for all other people.  

HOW SATAN DECEIVES

 

As I have proven in other articles on this blog, human beings are a spirit in a mortal body, fashioned in such a way by GOD that both spirit and body are interdependent on each other to have life, to be alive. This spiritual knowledge is a foundational truth throughout the scriptures.  Satan, the father of lies, has many different ways to deceive people, even people who are new to the faith, babes in Christ.  A babe is a new convert that just came out of the Satanic deception in the world.  Upon conversion no one instantly has all truth but must grow in grace and knowledge and this will take time.  New converts always have excess baggage from their former deception that yet remains in them and they need to purge out this old leaven of malice and wickedness as they are a new lump needing leavened with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 

 My personal conversion involved getting rid of this old leaven, those things I yet believed that were lies.  GOD Will overtime lead you into all truth and the longer you are in Christ the more you will learn.  

Satan has the ability to interact with your human spirit and can broadcast lies into your mind using this excess baggage you yet have.  When you read certain scriptures you will see in them the lie you believe. You are unable to properly interpret these scriptures and Satan keeps you from doing so.  GOD is able to correct this problem and cut through all the lies and guide you to HIS truth.  GOD can accomplish this in many ways and one way is for this new convert to come into contact with mature Saints that have already been inspired by GODS spirit and know the truth to explain the lies in the mind of the babe.  If this method doesn’t work GOD will use others as HE will go to the uttermost to save us.  However, if this person becomes unwilling, unworkable then they will simply fall away.  They haven’t committed the unpardonable sin because they just weren’t the good earth to begin with.

If you recall the parable of the sower then see there are different types of people who have the seed of GODS spirit fall on the dust of the ground or humans but the results are not all the same.  If the babe is of the good earth then it is his or her time for the hope salvation if not it will be a different time in the future.   This is why many are called but few are chosen.  

Satan will use your pride in how you perceive yourself.  Former false church ministers are accustomed to teaching others and see themselves as more knowledgeable because of what they were taught in ministry schools.  They like to use technical terminology to empress others.  These types are perhaps the most difficult to correct when they are wrong.  The opposite of this type are people that just accept whatever the minister types of this world tell them because they are gullible.  Another type are those caught up in strong emotions and mistake for the truth the lies the minister types preach.  These minister types speak great swelling words of emptiness that allure the various types of the deceived into spiritual slavery to Satan.  

If the gospel message has been hidden from people it is Satan who is hiding it.  Every person, aside from the three I fellowship with, that I have come into contact with over the last 30 years and had high hopes for them to be called and chosen, have fallen away for various reasons.  These people thought they had truth when they actually had lies.  Some were just drawn away by the cares of the world.  Since my track record in this searching for more elect saints has a record of failure I have decided to give it up.  After all GOD is in charge and needs no help from anyone.  I suppose I had to learn the hard way like the Apostle Paul who went to great lengths to save some of his own people after the flesh, the carnal Israelites.  Each time Paul tried all he got was blasphemy, verbal and physical abuse and attacks always and finally Paul gave up on them and said, 

Acts 18:6 “And when they opposed themselves and blasphemed, Paul shook his raiment and said to them.  Your blood be upon your own heads, I am clean, from henceforth I will go to the Gentiles.”

From henceforth I will go to no one, instead I will focus on the small fellowship that I am a part of and concern myself with all our own personal growth in the Spirit. 

This blog will continue but I will no longer concern myself with the spiritual condition of my readers.

DID JESUS HAVE A HUMAN SPIRIT ?

Hebrews 2:17  “Therefore he (Jesus) had to be made (created) like his brethren that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to GOD, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.”

GOD ALMIGHTY created Jesus exactly like us physically and spiritually because Jesus was a soul just like we are, that is a body combined with the human spirit.  Scripture tells us that in Jesus was no sin.

1 John 3:5  “But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him was no sin.”

Jesus was a soul just as we are souls but unlike us was incapable of sin.

Isaiah 53:12  “Therefore I will allot him a portion with the great and he shall divide the spoil with the strong because he poured out his SOUL unto death..”

A soul, even the soul of Jesus can die therefore the soul cannot be immortal.

Isaiah 53:10  “Yet it pleased GOD to crush him causing him grief. When YOU make his SOUL an offering for sin……”   

This is part of what happened in the garden of Gethsemane when Jesus asked for the cup to be removed from him.  GOD allowed Satan one last opportunity to kill Jesus before he could go to the cross.  

Psalm 16:10  “For YOU will not abandon my SOUL in Sheol, YOU will not allow YOUR holy one to see corruption…….”

Jesus was whipped brutally before going to the cross so horribly that his visage was marred more than any man.  

Isaiah 52:14  “Just as many were astonished at you, so his visage was marred more than any man and his form marred beyond human likeness.”

The above three verses prove to us that Jesus was a soul, a human being.  The difference between Jesus and other humans is that his FATHER was GOD and Jesus was given his FATHERS Spirit without limit. 

Just as we have a human spirit and a portion of the Holy Spirit, Jesus had a human spirit and the Holy Spirit without limitations.  

Jesus, since he was in his mother’s womb, was always with his GOD and FATHER. 

 Psalm 22:10  “From birth I was cast upon you, from my mother’s womb you have been my GOD.”

Jesus had a GOD from his mothers womb but not before.  Jesus did not exist until GOD created him in his mothers womb.  This proves that Jesus did not preexist before his birth otherwise GOD would have been the GOD of Jesus in eternity, which we know is a lie.

GOD searched humanity to find someone to be the messiah.

Ezekiel 22:30  “So I searched for a man among them who would make a wall and to stand in the gap before ME on behalf of the land so that I would not destroy it; but I found none.”

What does this mean to “stand in the gap” ?  All humanity has sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD.   Sin separates us from GOD and we are condemned to everlasting death for breaking the Ten Commandments.  The wages of sin is everlasting death.  Jesus is the man, created by GOD to stand in the gap, to be a savior, a messiah, to those who GOD calls and chooses to be saints.  Through Jesus the saints have a connection to GOD because Jesus is the mediator (standing in the gap) between GOD and the saints.  We have access to repentance and forgiveness of our sins because of his sacrifice and resurrection from the dead.  

Psalm 14:2-3  “The LORD GOD looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if any of them understand, if any seek GOD. All have turned away and have become corrupt, there is no one who does good, not even one.”

Since there was no one among men that could meet GODS requirements for a savior, GOD had to create one, Jesus Christ.

GOD required that if Adam brought death to us all that another man should bring life by the resurrection.

  1 Corinthians 15:22  “For as in Adam all die so in Christ all will be made alive.”

John 11:25  “Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies.”

1 Corinthians 15:21  “Because death came through a man (Adam) the resurrection of the dead must also come through a man, (Jesus).”

GOD did not die for us, the son HE created died for us.  GOD created Jesus after HIS own character of love and righteousness, HIS express image.

Hebrews 1:3  “Jesus was the brightness of GODS glory, the exact representation, the express image of GODS character…” 

 In righteousness and love Jesus was the image of the invisible GOD.  Because GOD was the FATHER of Jesus and not Adam, due to the virgin birth, the sin of Adam did not pass to Christ and this made the human spirit of Jesus free from sin.  

It is a spiritual reality that any human being can have more than just their human spirit in them.  People possessed by demons can have many demonic spirits in them along with their human spirit.  A saint of GOD has their human spirit plus GODS spirit in them.

Luke 8:30  “What is your name Jesus asked.  Legion he replied because many demons had gone into him.”

John 14:17  “Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not neither knows him; but you know him, for he dwells with you  and shall be IN YOU.”

There is no mystery in Jesus having a human spirit and the fullness of GODS spirit in him.  The saints are the same except for having far less of the spirit of GOD in them.  

THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS NOT IMMORTAL

 

In order to be alive a person must be a soul.  A soul is the complete person, body and spirit.  This is how GOD designed and created a human being.  The Genesis account of GOD creating Adam plainly says Adams body was composed of the dust of the ground and his human spirit was the breath of life from GOD, as long as there is breath there is life. You must breath to be alive and this human spirit, the breath of life is what imparts life to the body, immortal beings require no breath but mortal humans do, and that is all that the breath of life provides; it doesn’t provide immortality. 

The human spirit of Adam, before being breathed into his body to make him a soul, was not immortal because if it was immortal then the spirit of Adam would have existed in eternity as a conscious disembodied spirit, which has no support from the scriptures. There are people that say humans do not have a human spirit but scripture disagrees; 

1 Corinthians 2:11  “For what a man knows, the things of a man, except the spirit of man that is in him.”   

Job 32:8   “But it is the spirit of man, the breath of the ALMIGHTY, that gives them understanding.” 

Zechariah 12:1 (last part) “and who forms the spirit of man within him.”

There is indeed a human spirit which is the breath of life from GOD.

The soul is not immortal therefore the parts that make it are not immortal either.  The human spirit must have a body to be alive and that body can either be composed of dust or spirit.  When composed of dust life is temporary and has an end but when the body is composed of spirit then it is immortal. Since at death the human spirit returns to GOD, having no body, it is inoperative and will not function .   The human spirit requires a body in order to be alive.  This spirit body is not immediately given  so the human spirit remains inactive, unconscious and non operational until the resurrection when this mortal spirit is clothed with an immortal spirit body. Since both the human spirit is spirit and the spirit body is spirit this produces a spirit being.  Only at this time is the person conscious and aware and alive.  

40 LIES THAT PEOPLE BELIEVE

 

Below is a list of 40 lies that people in the false Christian churches believe.  These lies are scattered among the churches because not all of them believe the same lies.  There are articles on this blog that address many of these lies and prove they are lies and and show the truth of things.  

1  The trinity is a lie.

2  The idea of two gods is a lie.

3  Jesus is not GOD.  Anyone who says he is, is a liar.

4  The Holy Spirit is the FATHER not another part of the lie of the trinity.

5  Baptism is in the name of Jesus only and anything else is a lie.

6  Jesus did not receive the Holy Spirit when John the Baptist baptized him. Jesus had the Holy Spirit in his mother’s womb.

7  The lie that Jesus was capable of sin.

8  The lie that Jesus wanted to escape his crucifixion.

9  The lie of Universal Salvation.

10  The lie of Once Saved Always Saved.

11 The lie that humans have no free will.

12 The lie that Jesus preexisted in eternity.

13 The lie that Jesus was glorified when he was resurrected.

14 The lie that humans in the kingdom will be glorified flesh.

15 Then lie of immediate life after death for anyone even Jesus Christ.

16 The lie that Jesus wasn’t 100% human.

17 The lie that Jesus didn’t have a human spirit.

18 The lie of full or partial Preterism.

19 The lie that the church after the Apostle Johns death still had human ministers.

20 The lie that we need human ministers, preachers, Popes or Pastors to teach us.

21 The lie of going to heaven or hell alive immediately after death.

22 Thinking we need to keep the old covenant Ten Commandments when converted is a lie.

23 That the saints must keep any of the law of Moses is a lie.

24 That the law has been abolished by Jesus is a lie.

25 That the Gentiles were not condemned to death by the same law as the Jews, the Ten Commandments, is a lie.

26 Kels lie that humans are living dust.

27 The lie that Pentecost was the beginning of GODS church.

28 The lie of Israel becoming a nation in 1948 was the fulfillment of GODS promise to Abraham.

29 The lie that Satan and the demon angels are not real.

30 The lie that it is the Christian duty and responsibility to participate in human governments.

31 The lie that human beings were angels before becoming human.

32 The lie that angels has sex with human women and produced giants.

33 The lie that the arch angel Michael was Jesus Christ.

34 The lie of the immaculate conception.

35 The lie of Mary worship.

36 The lie that Jesus was born under the law.

37 The lie that carnal Israel is GODS chosen people.

38 The lie that any church is GODS church.

39 The lie that baptism is salvation.

40 The lie that good works by us pleases GOD.

There are many more lies that are believed by the people who are deceived by their lying preachers and ministers and the Pope or any man or woman claiming to be a minister of Christ.   I just don’t have the time to list them all.

MORE SUPREME COURT FOOLISH RULINGS BASED ON LIBERAL THINKING

 

Recently the Supreme Court ruled that people who tried to cross the southern border of the United States but did not officially arrive in the the United States and were not legally eligible to apply for asylum nor entitled to an inspection by an immigration official.

The focal point here is that a person must have actually been on U.S. soil to have any asylum or inspection.  This seems like splitting hairs but it blocks noncitizens from entering to seek legal protection.

  NOW, in the recent ruling by the court about counting votes in a federal election, the court erred in allowing mail in votes to be counted even if they arrived after Election Day.  Election Day is the same in all U.S. states. In 1845 Congress passed a federal law establishing a uniform date for presidential electors and set this date as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.  Later in 1872 Congress extended this uniform Tuesday date to include members of the house and Senate.

 No state can change their election laws if they conflict with federal laws.  Therefore, allowing any state to count mail in ballots after the set date established by congress is unlawful.  The Supreme Court judges that voted to permit the counting of any mail in ballots that arrived after the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November were in error.  

Just like the details of illegal aliens that did not actually set foot on U.S. soil the details of Federal law applies in U.S. federal elections. A line has to be drawn somewhere even though it seems to be splitting hairs.  To allow votes to be counted after Election Day prolongs the actual vote count because if any vote arrives late and is counted means a delay in the count sometimes days or weeks until a winner is named.  This also opens the door to voter fraud as it did in 2020.  Pennsylvania actually changed its voting laws before the election to accommodate late mail in ballots which is obviously fraud and illegal.  

It has also recently been revealed that Dominion Software ended its lawsuit against Mike Lindell, the my pillow guy, the question then is why would Dominion do this if the so called evidence was in their favor ?  You think about it.

Mail in voting was pushed heavily by Democrats during Covid but now that Covid is over the rules for mail in voting should return to normal, which is for only people who have a very good reason for not being able to appear in person to vote. 

Perhaps someday the truth will be known about the 2020 election. I believe it will be discovered that the Democratic Party committed massive fraud to get Joe Biden elected president. The Biden administration was actually Obamas third term.  Biden was a puppet whose strings were being pulled by Barak Obama. 

Even if this truth isn’t revealed now it will come out when Christ returns because every dirty filthy thing all people have done will be made known to everyone.  No one is going to get away with anything.  In that day all people will be ashamed of themselves and no one will be able to point a finger at anyone else.  

BRETHREN IN CHRIST, DO NOT FEAR

 

GODS elect saints are not spiritual giants.  The saints are sinners under grace. If any saint says they have no sin they make GOD a liar and are deceived. The saints are to overcome their sins and grow spiritually. Determining our growth is not possible for us.  The Apostle Paul said this;

1 Corinthians 4:3-4  “I do not even judge myself. For I know nothing against myself yet I am not justified by this.  HE who judges me is the LORD.”

Only GOD can see the true state of our character.

1 John 3:20-21 “Even if our heart (conscience) condemns us, GOD is greater than our hearts and HE knows all things. Beloved, if our hearts condemn us not then we have confidence before GOD.”

Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”

1 John 2:1 “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin we have an advocate with the FATHER, Jesus Christ, the righteous one.”

James 3:2 “We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says then he is a perfect man, able to control his whole body.”

Romans 8:34 “Who is able to condemn us ?  For Christ who died and was raised to life is at the right hand of GOD and he is interceding for us.”

Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses but one who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.”

Psalm 103:13-14 “As a father has compassion on his children so the LORD has compassion on those who fear HIM. For HE knows our frame, HE is mindful that we are dust.”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins HE is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Psalm 42:5 “Then I acknowledged my sin to YOU and did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD and YOU forgave the guilt of my sin.”

All of GODS saints are sinners under grace because they believe the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  This means a lot to GOD and HE is willing to forgive our sins when we repent and ask HIM.  If GOD was not willing to do this then Jesus would be the only one in HIS kingdom. 

So, if you sin don’t feel like the Lone Ranger.  We all do.  We all repent and ask forgiveness and GOD will forgive.  

It does not matter how many times you need forgiveness of any sin.

Matthew 18:21 “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me ? Up to seven times ?  Jesus answered, I tell you not seven times but seventy times seven.” 

There will be sins that we have that we will struggle with all our lives but GODS forgiveness is unlimited. GOD sees the thoughts and intents of our human spirit and HE knows we have a broken spirit and contrite heart when we sin but HE will not despise us.

Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of GOD are a broken spirit; a broken contrite heart, oh GOD, YOU will not despise.”

Saints, we have a loving GOD full of mercy and compassion for us who knows we are sinners and has known in eternity.  This GOD has a will for us to be in HIS kingdom and HE will go to the uttermost to save us.

Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore he is able to save them to the uttermost those who come to GOD through him, seeing he lives to make intercession for them.”

Brethren in Christ, do not fear, because if GOD is for you who can be against you.  

THE U.S. CONSTITUTION HAS BEEN BUTCHERED BY LIBERAL THINKING MINDS THAT ARE THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE FOUNDING FATHERS GAVE US

 Below is a version of the U.S. constitution’s preamble that has been altered to fit the insane notions of modern day legislators, the courts, and everyone else that is stupid enough to think that the constitution was not explicitly written for U.S. citizens only.

We the people of the United States of America, everyone else and all illegal aliens, in order to form a more perfect union with absolutely everyone in the world, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings Of liberty to ourselves and our posterity , illegal aliens and any one else you care to include, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America, the entire world and all illegal aliens.

Just think, liberal thinking that gives due process, along with many of the rights the true preamble says, to illegal aliens or anyone else, is not what the founding fathers wrote.  The opening statement, the preamble, specifically identifies who the constitution applies to. Therefore all that is written afterwards only applies to citizens of the U.S.

What has happened is that over the years liberal legislators and Supreme Court judges have interpreted our constitution to say things that it never said.  These horrific rulings and laws have caused all the chaos, confusion and violence we are seeing today.  The left wing socialists, communists and Marxists in our government use these horrible laws and Supreme Court rulings then in their efforts to destroy the nation.  This in effect uses our constitution against the citizens.  

Communism and socialism did not make the U.S. the greatest nation on earth but it will destroy it.

If conservatives can gain enough seats in the house and senate, legislation should be passed to outlaw any socialist, communist or Marxist, anyone who isn’t a solid constitutionalist, to hold any public office anywhere; federal, state or local.  

It is insane to allow enemies of the republic to be elected to offices who have the goal of destroying the republic. 

Jesus Christ said a house divided against itself cannot stand.  Mark 3:25  Luke 11:17  Matthew 12:25  

I remind you readers of this blog that I am apolitical, I am an independent observer of world events.  This fact enables me to see things as they are without bias.  A study of history proves that every nation that has risen to greatness has in time fallen and the U.S.A. will be no exception.  The U.S. is failing to live up to its constitution and has over these past 250 years changed the constitution from a document that guarantees freedoms for its citizens only to one that applies to the world.  

As one of GODS elect saints living here in the U.S. has been better than any other nation but the U.S. has been destroying its own foundation for years and now I ask myself what king David did;

Psalm 12:3  “When the foundations are being destroyed what can the righteous do ?”

The prophet Habakkuk sums up the problem.

Habakkuk 1:4  “Therefore the law is paralyzed and Justice never goes forth. For the wicked hem in the righteous so that Justice is perverted.”

It is not just the U.S. that is on a course of self destruction, every nation on earth is.  This is the way Jesus , the Apostles and the prophets said it would be.  

There is an appointed time coming, one set by GOD, that all humanity will suffer greatly because they have cast GOD out of all their affairs and chose to rule themselves.  This happened to ancient Israel when the people demanded a human king to rule over them.  

1 Samuel 8:6-7  “But when they said, give us a king to lead us, this displeased Samuel, so he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD told him, listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected but they have rejected ME as their king.”

Human rule is rejection of GODS rule.  This will always lead to destruction.  Human beings do not know how to rule themselves.

 Jeremiah 10:23  “LORD I know that the peoples lives are not their own, it is not for them to direct their steps.”

Look at human history.  For the last 5,500 years of recorded history there has sporadically been only 350 years that there has been no war, that’s only about 6.3% of the total time.  It has been estimated that in the last 5,500 years that somewhere between 150 million to one billion people have died in war.  Humanity has nothing to brag about but much to be ashamed of.  In these modern times the U.S. form of government has been called the great experiment, one that the final result of is yet to be seen.  Other nations in the past had their experiments too that all blew up in their faces.  The U.S. is following the same path as they did.  

Allowing enemies to be in our government or illegal aliens in the nation is comparable to letting a thief or arsonist to live in your house, or a rapist to sleep in the room next to your teenage daughter.  

Satan is the author of all this confusion and chaos and is the destroyer of nations.

Jeremiah 4:7  “A lion has come out of his lair, a destroyer of nations has set out. He has left his place to lay waste to your land. Your cities will lie in ruins without inhabitants.”

IF YOU ARE IN CHRIST SHOULD YOU STILL TRY TO KEEP THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ?

 

According to my blog statistics there are many people reading articles about the Ten Commandments. These articles are the second highest of all the articles read on this blog. Therefore in this article I will share with you what the spirit of GOD through Christ has revealed to me.  Then it is up to GOD whether or not you will understand.

Scripture says “sin is the transgression 

of the law.”1 John 3:4

Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death.”

Now we must ask, what law is it that if we break it brings death ?  The answer is the Ten Commandments.  If you Break any one of the Ten Commandments you have broken them all. 

 James 2:10-11  “Whoever breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking them all. For the one who said do not commit adultery also said do not murder. Even if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder then you are a lawbreaker .”

Here James makes it plain that it is the Ten Commandments that produces death if we break them.  What many fail to understand is that this death by breaking the Ten Commandments is everlasting, you cease to exist.  The heaven hell idea is a pagan myth.  In GODS eyes all sin is the same with no one sin greater than the other.  

Until GOD sent Jesus to provide repentance, forgiveness, grace and faith and the hope of everlasting life in the kingdom of GOD, All unconverted people were separated from GOD because of their sins.  There is a common belief by many that think they are Christians that they must keep the Ten Commandments but as I will show you the Ten Commandments were and are the old covenant that Jesus came to save us from. 

The Ten Commandments were kept in the ark of the covenant and Moses called the Ten Commandments the tables of the covenant.

Exodus 32:15 “Moses turned and went down the mountain with the two tables of the covenant in his hands. They were written on both sides.”

Hebrews 9:4 “This ark contained the gold jar of mana, Aaron’s rod that budded and the stone tablets of the covenant.”

The Ten Commandments are the old covenant that GOD gave to humanity in order to imprison all in disobedience so that HE may show mercy to all.” Jew and Gentiles alike.  Romans 11:32 Amplified Bible 

 No one can keep the Ten Commandments and if you say you are you are a liar. 

 1 John 1:10  If we say we have no sin (because we think we are keeping the Ten Commandments) then we make GOD a liar.”  This is because GOD said, 

“For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of GOD.”  Romans 3:23

The only human being to ever fulfill the Ten Commandments was Jesus Christ and he fulfilled them with GODS love and Paul confirms this,

Romans 14:10  “Love does no harm to a neighbor therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”  

This love is GODS love that we humans do not have and is a gift from GOD by HIS Holy Spirit in us.

Romans 5:5  “And hope does not disappoint us because GOD has poured out HIS love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit HE has given to us.”

You see our trying to keep the Ten Commandments is our working in the law rather than GOD working in us by HIS love.  This is why Jesus gave us two commandments in Matthew 23:37-40 that say;

“Jesus declared, love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind and this is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it; love your neighbor as yourself.  All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In Marks gospel Jesus adds this additional comment, 

“There is no commandment greater than these.” 

This means that the Ten Commandments are inferior to the two commandments Jesus gave.  Without GODS love in us we remain sinners under the Ten Commandments that provided no mercy, forgiveness, grace, faith, repentance or hope of everlasting life.  The Ten Commandments kill us, they do not give life.  

2 Corinthians 3:6  “HE made us competent as ministers of a new covenant, not the letter, but the spirit; for the letter kills but the spirit gives life.”

Galatians 3:21 “Is the law against the promises of GOD ?  Absolutely not !  For if a law had been given that could impart life then righteousness would have come by the law.”

Righteousness does not come by the law else Jesus died for nothing.

Galatians 2:21 “I do not set aside the grace of GOD, for if righteousness could be gained by the law then Christ died for nothing.”

So, I hope you may see that keeping the Ten Commandments can only produce death and are our works of righteousness that are filthy rags to GOD.  

It must be by GODS love in us, by GOD working HIS love in us. 

“ It isn’t worth anything to have a lot of knowledge, to speak in tongues, to have the gift of prophecy, or have absolute faith but if we don’t have GODS love then we are nothing.”  1 Corinthians 13:1-13  

The greatest gift of all is love, GODS love, because HIS love is what enables us to live a righteous life, to overcome our sins and gives us the hope of immortality at the return of Jesus.  

If you claim to be in Christ yet still try to keep the Ten Commandments……..

Galatians 5:4  “You who are trying to be justified by the Ten Commandments have been alienated from Christ, you have fallen from grace.”

You have hear it said many times we are under grace and not the law, well that law is the Ten Commandments.  The Ten Commandments are not evil, people are.  The law is holy, just and good but we don’t have what it takes to fulfill it which is the love of GOD.  

Jesus took upon himself the death penalty for our breaking the Ten Commandments should we then continue trying to keep them or should we surrender ourselves to allow GOD to work in us with HIS love to fulfill them ?  It is like our sitting in the electric chair ready to be executed when Jesus comes in to take our place then afterwards you sit back in the electric chair. That would be spiritually insane.  

The Ten Commandments are not the new covenant that GOD made possible through Jesus.  The Ten Commandments are the old and dead way while the new covenant is the new and living way.

Therefore it came to pass………..

2 Chronicles 36:20-23 

  “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:  The Lord, the GOD of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for HIM at Jerusalem in Judah.  Whoever of you belongs to HIS people may the Lord his GOD be with him and he may go up.”

Jeremiah said that Judah and Jerusalem would be taken to Babylon for 70 years. 

 Jeremiah 25:12  “But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians, for their guilt,” declares the LORD, “and will make it desolate forever.    

Daniel also wrote about the 70 years.  

 Daniel 9:2  in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 

 Daniel is informing us here that he understood the meaning of Jeremiah’s prophecy.

Then Zechariah 1:12  Then the Angel of the LORD answered and said, “O LORD of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years ?”

Ezra 1:1-4  Ezra tells us that after Babylon was conquered by Persia the time came to FULFILL Jeremiah’s 70 year prophecy.

  In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD stirred the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to send a proclamation throughout his kingdom and to put it in writing as follows: 

  “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

‘The LORD, the God of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for Him at Jerusalem in Judah.

  Whoever among you belongs to His people, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.  And let every survivor, wherever he lives, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.’”

Now Jeremiah 25:8-14  describes the Babylonian captivity that Jeremiah wrote about and Judah and Jerusalem did indeed spend 70 years in Babylon but after the 70 years were completed the Babylonian empire was conquered by Darius king of Persia and in this day Babylon is in ruins. 

 Now verse 15 of Jeremiah 25 begins another yet future event of GODS judgement on all the nations of the earth starting with Jerusalem and the cities of Judah.  The previously mentioned 70 years of captivity in Babylon happened long before this future time and only involved Judah so the 70 years cannot be connected to this future prophecy.  

The end of the 70 years has GOD allowing the Jews to return under Cyrus king of Persia and Babylon was conquered but from verse 15 and onward is another punishment of all the nations of the earth, not just Judah.  

The reason for the Jews returning to Jerusalem is because Jesus was prophesied to be born in Bethlehem. Micah’s prophecy foretold of Jesus being born in Bethlehem over 700 years before Jesus was born and over 200 years before Babylon took Judah into captivity.  

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to ME the one to be ruler in Israel , whose goings forth are from old, from  everlasting” 

This return of the Jews was not because the Jews deserved it but for GOD to vindicate HIS holy name.  

 Ezekiel 36:22 “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.

Jeremiah records the same things Jesus said about this future prophecy.

Jeremiah 25:32 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Behold, disaster shall go forth From nation to nation, And a great whirlwind shall be raised up From the farthest parts of the earth.

  What Jesus said in Matthew 24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

and Luke 21:25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

So then, we can’t use the 70 years as we have been because they are not a part of the end time but were fulfilled in the days of the prophet Daniel.  While Daniel lived in Babylon he came to understand Jeremiah’s prophecy (Daniel 9:2) and later was witness to Darius (Cyrus) king of Persia conquering Babylon recorded in;

Daniel chapter 5:30 

  Now this is the inscription that was written:

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN.

  And this is the interpretation of the message:

MENE  means that God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

  TEKEL  means that you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.

  PERES  means that your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”

  Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel in purple, placed a gold chain around his neck, and proclaimed him the third highest ruler in the kingdom.

  That very night Belshazzar king of  the Chaldeans  was slain,  and Darius the Mede received the kingdom at the age of sixty-two.

What this means is that we can no longer use the 70 years to say that from 1948 to the passing of 70 years  culminates in the tribulation or return of Christ.  The “sign” we need to see is the false tribulation and rise of the man of sin and the covenant made with ten nations. 

The elimination of the 70 years increases the possibility of our small group of GODS elect being a part of those who are alive and remain.  Whereas with the 70 years we were running out of time expiring in 2028. With less than 2 years to have a false tribulation and false millennium the 70 year idea was not plausible.  Eliminating the 70 years ends this time restriction.

This information should open up the possibility of Christ returning in our lifetimes.  As far as the time line we have all the days of Daniel still correct.  We did have one clarification in the 1290 days being the setting up of the abomination of desolation rather than the 1260. 

Daniel 12:11 “From the time the daily sacrifice is taken away (1260 days) and the abomination of desolation is set up there shall be 1290 days.”  

Now, with the current events in the Middle East, exists the possibility of this man of sin and his 10 nations becoming reality.  What will bring these events to fruition is not yet clear but we have thought it may be a nuclear attack on Iran by Israel and it will be the event we have called the false tribulation.  Never before in all of history has there been world conditions and scientific advancements that would make this event possible.  If we were still thinking along the lines of the 70 years there just wouldn’t be enough time for these events to happen and we might think that they would be further into the future, but now that the 70 years is correctly understood these events could happen at any time.  This increases the possibility that we may be among those who are alive and remain for the second advent. 

After the false tribulation is the false millennium that ends at the 1260 days when sacrifices end and antichrist declares himself GOD, then the 1290 days is when the abomination of desolation is set up. At 1335 days the elect are sealed and at 2300 days Christ returns. 

This is currently how we understand things now but as we have seen we may not have enough information now and there may be more information later that changes things.  What we are doing is watching world events and comparing them to prophecy and then speculating about what might happen and in doing so we should be aware that we will make mistakes along the way that will require us to rethink things.  This process is what we have been experiencing for many years already. 

I know that all the elect alive today have a great desire to be among that group of saints who are alive and remain when Christ returns but this is not a guarantee for us, salvation is a guarantee, so whether or not we are in that small group we will be in that larger group of 144,000.  We all need to constantly pray for the kingdom to come and that GOD would work HIS spirit in us more powerfully to help us do HIS will. 

 Philippians 2:13 “For it is GOD who works in you both to will and to do HIS good pleasure.”

  While yet in this flesh we will still sin and always need grace for forgiveness as it is like Jesus said, “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”  The spirit in us was sown in weakness but will be raised in power, that seed which fell upon the good earth is tended to, watered by, the message of the gospel that saves us and GOD gives the increase.

We have learned that in the first century the Apostles thought Jesus would return soon in their lifetime and apparently GOD allowed them to believe this.  If we compare their time to ours we can see that events described in the book of Revelation (that they did not have yet) could not possibly have happened in their day.  There is no way that humanity had the ability to destroy all life on earth as they do today.  Perhaps the reason for GOD allowing the Apostles to think this was to weed out those people who were not truly converted.  

Afterwards the book of  Revelation was revealed in about 95 AD that explains how the future unfolds and that there were 6 more eras of the church to come after them.  1948 we know was not GODS doing, it was Satans doing, because it was not the fulfillment of GODS promise to Abraham; it was another copying of GODS plan used by Satan to deceive.  In order for the Antichrist to deceive the Jews and rule from Jerusalem with his 10 nations there must be a counterfeit Israel.  

We know the law will be restored along with the animal sacrifices because Revelation records this.  There will be a false Jesus in the antichrist, a false GOD in the beast and a false Elijah in the false prophet.  Under the direction of the beast , antichrist will at the 1260 days end all the sacrifices and declare himself GOD then at 1290 set up the abomination of desolation, then 45 days later the elect are sealed, then for 965 days is the great tribulation until the 2300 days when Jesus returns early to stop humanity from destroying itself.    This is the what we have so far and we know it is subject to change as more things are revealed.  

What we watch for now is not the 70 years but the false tribulation and what we are seeing now in the Middle East has the potential to bring it about. 

Remember the people who fell away in the first century when the temple was destroyed but Jesus did not return.  We do not want to be like them, so if we are 100% wrong and the return of Jesus is far off, we do not repeat their error.  We must cling to faith even if we do not understand what is going on.  Faith is believing in things that have not yet happened in spite of what we see around us.  We walk by faith not by sight.  Personally I believe we are near to the time of this false tribulation.

 1 Timothy 4:1-3  2 Timothy 3:1-5  Romans 1:24-32

As we continue to watch we need to surrender ourselves to GOD desiring HIS spirit to work in us to guide us in all righteousness, love and truth.  GOD knows the thoughts and intents of our human spirit and sees this desire in us and in spite of our weaknesses, our sins, has provided us with grace and faith by which we are saved.  So then whether we live or whether we die we belong to GOD.

1/2 A SOUL IS DEATH THE COMPLETE SOUL IS LIFE

No one has ever seen a human spirit so I just have a picture of nothing.  

 

Below is a complete soul.

 

I hope you can see the difference.

Half a soul cannot be alive because it takes both body and spirit combined to make a soul, a living breathing creature. At death the spirit and body separate and neither one can function without the other.  The dead man in the casket cannot wave to you like the man who is a complete soul does.  How can the spirit wave to you when it has no hands, no body ?

At present GOD will let the people in the world believe whatever they want but not so in HIS church, in the church the saints must believe what GOD teaches them through Jesus Christ. What GOD teaches is not what the world teaches, God teaches the truth, the world teaches lies.

Why You Do Not Have an Immortal Soul

What are you, really? And what am I?

Many Christians answer this without hesitation: you have a soul—an immortal soul—an invisible part of you that leaves the body at death and goes to either heaven or hell. It is preached in churches, assumed at funerals, and rarely questioned.

But where does the Bible actually say this?

It doesn’t.

This belief is ancient, widespread, and deeply comforting. It is also one of the biggest errors in all of Christianity. Because if you misunderstand what man is, you will misunderstand death, judgment, and the very purpose of salvation.

Your Bible teaches that man does not have an immortal soul. Man is a soul, formed from the dust of the ground and sustained by breath. That soul can die. Everlasting life is not inherent in man but is a gift given by God through resurrection. This truth is essential to understanding the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Man Became a Soul—He Was Not Given One

Genesis 2:7 states that God formed man from the dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, “and man became a living soul.” The Hebrew word nephesh means a living, breathing creature—not an immortal entity. The same word is used for animals in Genesis 1:20–24.

Biblically, a soul is not something placed inside the body. It is the whole living being. This alone overturns the idea that humans possess an indestructible spiritual component.

The Soul Can Die—And Immortality Must Be Given

If souls were immortal, Scripture could not say what it plainly says: “The soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20). Paul confirms it: “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Not everlasting life in torment. Not conscious existence elsewhere. Death.

Only God “has immortality” (1 Timothy 6:16). Paul tells us plainly that immortality must be put on—and only at the resurrection: “This mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:53). If you already had an immortal soul, you would not need a resurrection—you would need a travel itinerary.

But the gospel is not about relocation. It is about transformation.

Death Is Sleep—Not Life in Another Place

The Bible repeatedly describes death as unconsciousness. “The dead know nothing” (Ecclesiastes 9:5). When a man dies, “his plans perish” (Psalm 146:4).

This is why Yeshua (Jesus) described death as sleep. Speaking of Lazarus, He said, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps,” and then explained plainly, “Lazarus is dead” (John 11:11–14). If the dead were already alive in heaven or hell, these statements would be misleading. But if death is a state of complete unconsciousness, the Bible speaks with one voice.

The dead are not watching. They are waiting.

How the Immortal Soul Doctrine Entered the Church

The doctrine of the immortal soul echoes the first recorded lie in Scripture: “You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4). From the beginning, humanity was told that death would not truly mean death.

Centuries later, Greek philosophers like Plato taught that the soul is immortal and the body merely a temporary prison. Church fathers trained in pagan schools carried the idea in with them. By Augustine’s time, a Hebrew revelation had been replaced by a Greek assumption. A lie that began in Eden entered the church through philosophy, and it replaced the biblical hope of resurrection with the idea of immediate life after death.

Why This Matters For the Kingdom

This truth defines the plan of God.  Being born again is not a present experience but a future resurrection event—and why: God is reproducing Himself, His character of love and righteousness, preparing human beings to be born into His Family as spirit-composed sons and daughters.

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50). That change happens at the resurrection, when mortality is replaced with immortality. God is not relocating ghosts. He is raising the dead—and transforming them to rule with Christ in His coming government. You are not preparing to escape this life. You are preparing to be changed into something greater.

Conclusion

The doctrine of the immortal soul does more than misinterpret a few verses—it reshapes the entire message of the Bible. It replaces resurrection with assumption, judgment with immediacy, and the Kingdom of God with an afterlife detached from God’s plan.

The truth is both sobering and hopeful.

Man is mortal—but not meaningless. Temporary—but not purposeless. Created from dust—but destined for glory.

God is offering you something you do not already possess: everlasting life in His Family. But it will not be given automatically.

Read Genesis 2:7, Ezekiel 18, Ecclesiastes 9, and 1 Corinthians 15 this week. Let Scripture define what man is. Then examine what you believe—and decide which authority you will follow.

DISEMBODIED SPIRITS

 

 If when you die and become a disembodied spirit this means you have no body. 

Does your spirit have eyes, ears, a nose, a tongue, can you wear a garment, or talk without a mouth and vocal cords or see anything without eyes ?  

According to the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 the saints do not get a new spirit body until the resurrection when Jesus returns so at death we have no body. 

 Jesus said that no man ascends to heaven and I would think descends to hell either.  How can anyone feel pain from hell fire if they have no body ?  On the day of Pentecost the Apostle Peter spoke about King David and said that David’s grave was with them today and that David did not ascend into heaven. Acts2:34

When the saints are resurrected they will have a spirit body that makes them immortal so before they receive this spirit body they must be mortal. How can a mortal spirit live on after death ? 

 Yes, your human spirit is mortal just as your body is mortal.  Remember that GOD withheld immortality from Adam and Eve that was in the tree of life because of sin.  If either body or spirit was immortal then why must this mortal put on immortality ?  The soul is alive but a disembodied spirit is not.  

Humans are mortal, no one, not even the human Jesus was immortal, so how is it that if your mortal you can yet be alive ?  It’s not our spirit or our body that is immortal, it’s the spirit body we receive in the resurrection that makes us immortal.  It says this mortal must put on immortality.  This putting on immortality is compared by Paul to being clothed with this new spirit body. 2 Corinthians 5:1-4   1 Corinthians 15:42-44 and 53-54   Also Philippians 3:20-21  1 John 3:2 gives the time of this event as “when he appears”, the return of Christ.  

The Saints inherit the kingdom and immortality therefore before this they are only heirs not yet inheritors therefore at death we die as an heir waiting for our inheritance.   Ephesians 1:14  1 Peter 1:3-5  Daniel 12:13  Matthew 24:13  2 Timothy 4:7-8  Hebrews 9:15   No human being has ever been immortal and at death there is no life of any kind.  To live again and become immortal requires a resurrection from the dead.
