THEY ALL HAD HER / THE REASON WHY ANGELS CANNOT IMPREGNATE A HUMAN WOMAN / CONSUMMATING A MARRIAGE / THE ENTIRE REASON AND METHOD FOR RAISING UP OFFSPRING FOR YOUR BROTHER

 In this article I would like to address Genesis 6:1-4.

Everything GOD created is to reproduce after its own kind.  Genesis 1:24    Sons of GOD can be human men. Luke 3:38 "the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God."  See also Romans 8:14   Exodus 4:22   Deuteronomy 14:1   1 John 3:1   2 Samuel 7:14

“It came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the Earth and daughters were born to them the sons of GOD saw that the daughters of men were fair and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.  Then the Lord GOD said, MY spirit will not strive with man forever because he is also flesh yet his days shall be 120 years.  There were giants on the Earth in those days and also afterward when the sons of GOD came unto the daughters of men and they bore children to them.  Those who were mighty men of old men of renown.  Genesis 6:1-4   “In those days and also after the sons of GOD came unto the daughters of men.”  Notice there were giants before this event occurred and afterwards.  This is because the descendants of Cain had been practicing incest by themselves before Seth’s descendants joined in with them. 

Now, many believe that angels impregnated human women and produced a hybrid human of great height and strength. To find the truth concerning these verses of scripture we must compare them to other verses of scripture.  

In the book of Job 1:6  and  Job 2:1  It is recorded that "the “sons of GOD” came to present themselves before GOD and Satan came among them."  Ask yourself, is Satan the Devil a son of GOD.  Some people say he is but the name Satan means adversary, opponent, the arch enemy of good; see Strongs H7854

  These “sons of GOD” who presented themselves before GOD were the righteous angels, it only happened that Satan “came among them”  it didn’t say Satan was one of them.    Righteous angels would never disobey GOD but the fallen angels do.  Since neither the righteous or the fallen can procreate the “sons of GOD” in Genesis 6:1 cannot be any angel at all.  The verse must be referring to human men.  Early in Genesis 4:16  “Cain went out from the presence of GOD,” meaning Cain was a GODLESS man.  In Genesis 4:25-26  is the account of the birth of Seth and it was with Seth and his son Enoch that “men began to call upon the name of GOD.”  So, you have two very different men, Cain and Seth, one unGODLY and the other GODLY.  I submit that overtime Seth’s desendants began to take wives from the line of Cain, the GODLY mixing with the unGODLY, that led to the evil described in Genesis 6:5  “GOD saw that man’s wickedness was great that every thought and intent of his heart was only evil continually.” 

 Deuteronomy 7:3-4  The nation of Israel was forbidden to marry the heathen because it would turn their sons away from following GOD to serve other gods.  "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 4For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly."

Do you see the parallel here ?

Matthew 22:23-30  “That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus and questioned him.  Teacher they said, Moses declared that if a man die without children his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.  Now there were seven brothers and the first died having no offspring and left his wife to his brother. Likewise the second brother died and the third even until the seventh.  Last of all the woman died.  Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of the seven will she be ?  For they all had her.  Jesus answered, you are mistaken not knowing the scriptures or the power of GOD.  For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels of GOD in heaven.

The command of Moses for brothers to raise up seed for a dead brother who was married but had no offspring is in Deuteronomy 25:5 "If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. 6And it shall be, that’s the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel."   

It is, or should be, a fact that to raise up seed to your dead brother by marrying his wife it would be absolutely required to have sexual intercourse. Marriage is consummated by sexual intercourse.  Marriage is a covenant between the man, the woman and GOD.  Only when the man and woman have sexual intercourse are they married. If there is no sex there is no marriage. Joseph had no sex with Mary until after the birth of her first born son. Matthew 1:25 "But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus."
 The biblical concept of “one flesh” is in marriage as the two shall become one flesh.  Genesis 2:24    and 1 Corinthians 6:16 "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh."

In Matthew 22:28 it says “they all had her” this is directly referring to sexual intimacy, becoming one flesh.  When Jesus answered the question he knew all of this and the focus of their question was who would the woman be the wife of if all seven had sex with her, sex that consummates a marriage.  

This is what Jesus meant when he compares angels and resurrected humans when he says , “they are like the angels of GOD in heaven”.  Therefore there is no marriage or sexual relations in heaven by humans or angels, there is no procreation of angels or humans. There can be no two becoming one flesh, that is sexual relations that consummates a marriage.   Sex is only for this physical creation therefore in Genesis 6:1-4  angels did not have sex with human women.  

When GOD created the angels HE made a finite number of them and tested them by sharing HIS 

plan with them to make a man (Jesus) HIS heir.  This caused extreme jealousy in Lucifer, who because of his vanity over his beauty, led a third of the angels under his charge to rise up from the Earth, (their habitation at that time, and many confuse Jude 1:6 to mistakenly think it’s connected to Genesis 6:1-4)  to set Lucifer’s throne  above that of  GODS.  Isaiah 14:13-14   "For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

Michael and Gabriel, who commanded the other two thirds of the angels, fought against Lucifer and his angels and Lucifer and his angels was cast down on the Earth with such force that all life on the Earth, plant or animal, was destroyed and this is the condition of the Earth in Genesis 1:2,  the Hebrew “tohu va bohu” means chaos and confusion. indicates a former state prior to the current) the  condition of the Earth after Lucifer’s rebellion, then GOD would repair the damage and prepare Earth for humanity.   

After all of this do you think GOD would have created angels with the ability to reproduce ?  The testing of them would never end and the numbers of both righteous and evil angels would grow forever.  The truth is that GOD created a set number of angles with no ability to reproduce with each other or with humans.  The idea that Genesis 6:1-4 is saying that they can, cannot be true when other biblical facts from Jesus Christ and others are presented.

I would at this time offer my own explanation as to who these Nephilim were.  Apparently there was inbreeding taking place as, “they took for themselves wives of whoever they chose” ,  it took until the time of Moses to forbid sexual relationships between near kinsmen as Leviticus 18:1-25 records,  

1Then the LORD said to Moses, 2“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: I am the LORD your God. 3You must not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not follow the practices of the land of Canaan, into which I am bringing you. You must not walk in their customs.

4You are to practice My judgments and keep My statutes by walking in them. I am the LORD your God. 5Keep My statutes and My judgments, for the man who does these things will live by them.a I am the LORD.

6None of you are to approach any close relative to have sexual relations.  I am the LORD.

7You must not expose the nakedness of your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.

8You must not have sexual relations with your father’s wife; it would dishonor your father.

9You must not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.

10You must not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for that would shame your family.

11You must not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.

12You must not have sexual relations with your father’s sister; she is your father’s close relative.

13You must not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.

14You must not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations with her; she is your aunt.

15You must not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; you are not to have sexual relations with her.

16You must not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife; that would shame your brother.

17You must not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. You are not to marry her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives; it is depraved.

20You must not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife and thus defile yourself with her.

21You must not give any of your children to be sacrificedc to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.

22You must not lie with a man as with a woman; that is an abomination.

23You must not lie carnally with any animal, thus defiling yourself with it; a woman must not stand before an animal to mate with it; that is a perversion.

24Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for by all these things the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves. 25Even the land has become defiled, so I am punishing it for its sin, and the land will vomit out its inhabitants.

People from Seth’s line were having sex with Cains line.  This sex was incestuous; mother and son, father and daughter, brother and sister and every other abominable act you can imagine.  

26But you are to keep My statutes and ordinances, and you must not commit any of these abominations—neither your native-born nor the foreigner who lives among you. 27For the men who were in the land before you committed all these abominations, and the land has become defiled. 28So if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it spewed out the nations before you.

29Therefore anyone who commits any of these abominations must be cut off from among his people. 30You must keep My charge not to practice any of the abominable customs that were practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves by them. I am the LORD your God.”

Notice GOD said, “Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for by all these things the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves.”

 This is the very thing that happened in Genesis 6:1-4  and I believe that this type of inbreeding produced genetic abnormalities like very tall people of exceptional strength, the great men of renown. 

  Og, the king of Bashan, was among the last of a race of giants called Rephaim that dwelled in the land of Israel before the exodus of Israel. Og was said to be about 10 to 13 feet tall.  There were also the Anakim, the Emim, the Zamzummim, the Avim and some of the Amorties were giants .  These giants were more than likely the product of inbreeding because we have proved that none of the angels, righteous or evil, are capable of any kind of reproduction. 

 Most of what we hear today concerning Genesis 6:1-4 are fables and old wives tales that a good understanding of scripture will prove false.   Over time the effects of inbreeding was greatly reduced but yet today remnants of the gene must still be present along with medical gigantism caused by over active pituitary gland.  

Just as 1 Peter 3:18-20 is difficult scripture so is Genesis 6:1-4 .  In order to know the truth of these sections of scripture you need to know the scriptures very very well and hold onto the established truths that are the foundation of understanding as the spirit of the FATHER teaches you through Jesus Christ.   Also be aware of bad translations, incorrect definitions of words, uninspired punctuation and deliberate alterations.   The Holy Spirit of the FATHER is able to overcome any and all obstacles that have corrupted the scriptures so that HIS elect can know the truth. 

THE BIBLE - THE SPIRIT - OVERCOMING THE WORLDS DECEPTIONS AND CORRUPTION OF SCRIPTURE

 The Bible is a collection of the writings of different authors who were inspired to write by the spirit of GOD. 1 Peter 1:20-21  In this article we will deal with the Protestant bible that has a total of 66 books 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament and a total the total number of authors in both testaments of  about 40 over a period of time of about 1,500 years.  

Most biblical scholars say the Bible is about 99% accurate in its content of spiritual revelation but I disagree with this.  

The title of this blog is “ No Lie is of the Truth” which comes from 1 John 2:21 “I do not write to you because you do not know the truth but because you do know the truth and that no lie comes from the truth.”  

The truth of GOD contains 0% lies and GOD will not compromise HIS truth.  GOD hates lies. Psalm 5:6   I have before shown what this means but will repeat it again.  Let us say there are only ten truths and of these ten you have 9 that are true but the tenth is a lie.  GOD says all of what you have is a lie, but why would GOD say this ?  That one lie will compromise the other 9 truths because in order to fit the lie in the truth would have to be compromised.  

Example: GOD is love, GOD is merciful, GOD is all powerful, GOD is eternal, GOD is omnipresent, GOD is all knowing, GOD is the creator, GOD will forgive, GOD is spirit and GOD is a trinity of father, son and Holy Spirit who became a man and died for us.  

Since the trinity is a lie people are worshipping a false GOD to which none of the other nine things listed apply and when combined together would be a total lie because no false GOD is like the one true GOD. Isaiah 46:9   Isaiah 45:5-6

In the letter of Jude 1:4 it is plainly recorded  that certain men who are unGODLY crept into the church and secretly introduced lies, heresies, that corrupt the truth of GOD.  There were people even in Johns day like Diotrephes, a false minister, who was practicing perversion.  1 John 1:9-10 .  Paul had the same problem, Acts 20:30  1 Timothy 1:20   Romans 16:17-18   2 Timothy 4:14-15  so did Peter 2 Peter 2:1  and Jesus warned us of this, Matthew 24:4-5   

The very people behind these deceptions and heresies gained control of the scriptures and appropriated the name of the church by the 4th century AD.  Then even more heresies were introduced and certain scriptures were deliberately changed to support their false doctrines. With The passage of time the entire truth of GOD was completely corrupted and what people think is Christianity is in reality paganism.  Modern day bibles contain many of these deliberate changes in words and word phrases, in punctuation and false definitions of spiritual terminology.  

The only scriptures that are 100% true are those original writings by the hand of the authors which no longer exist and everything we have today are multiple copies of copies that contain support for a variety of heresies.  

There are approximately 900 English translations of the New Testament and approximately 3,400 foreign language translations.  There are only fragments of some very old writings but complete writings didn’t exist until about the 4th century AD.  Most of the world has no idea of what lies in vaults buried under the Vatican in Rome.  Romans 1:18 “men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” describes all the false churches in this modern world.  Most are ignorant servants of Satan but some may be aware.  Paul describes these wicked men, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

With all this mass deception and the corruption of the scriptures how is anyone supposed to be an elect saint of GOD ?  How would people be led out of all this Babylon, this confusion ?  GOD must give them HIS Holy Spirit first just so they can even understand the truth well enough to know they have been deceived because only by HIS Holy Spirit can anyone know and understand the truth of GOD.  Then after this they must follow through with the command of Christ to be baptized in his name. This is the Cornelius Christian I have written about.  The situation in the world requires it be this way.  

Even though the mass deception flourishes in the world and the scriptures have been corrupted the Holy Spirit of the FATHER can make all the crooked places straight.  The spirit can yet guide us into all truth in spite of what Satan has done.  GODS elect saints develop a spiritual sixth sense over time to immediately sense a lie even though at the time may not yet be able to prove it a lie but this will happen over time as well.  Mature Christians should have this sense sharpened to determine good from evil. Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food is for the mature who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”  and Romans12:2   1 Thessalonians 5:21   1 Peter 2:2   1 John 4:1

The power to do these things is from GOD.  I have been using this power for over 30 years and I know that you, all of GODS elect, have access to this same power.  There is no other way that we all can come into the total unity of the faith to become a ready bride for Christ, to the measure of the stature and fullness of Christ.  Ephesians 4:13.   If there was a better way GOD would have done it.  

Therefore, all my brothers and sisters in Christ, be confident in your calling and election knowing that our GOD and our Savior are for us, so who can be against us ?

AS A MAN THINKS SO IS HE - THEREFORE THINK SPIRITUALLY AND LIVE

 How do you think ?  There is a scripture that says, 

“For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”  Romans 8:6

People who do not have GODS Holy Spirit are carnally minded but people who do have GODS Spirit are to be spiritually minded.

  “For those who are carnally minded set their minds on carnal things but those who set their minds on the spirit live according to the spirit.”  Romans 8:5

Romans 8:7 “The carnal mind is an enemy of GOD because it is not subject to the law of GOD and indeed can not be.”

Now, use this information and think spiritually to reason out the truth about the Ten Commandments and law of Moses.

 This is why the law kills everyone. It’s because we do not think like GOD and Christ.  Sin begins in our human spirit as thoughts and this is what defiles us as Jesus said,  Matthew 15:19-20  “For out of the heart come evil thoughts; murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, slander. Therefore, these are what defile a person”

 Those who are carnally minded cannot please GOD if you are under the law (The Ten Commandments) you cannot please GOD. 

Romans 8:8 “those who are of the flesh (carnal minded) cannot please GOD”   I hope you see how I used spiritual thinking to prove that spiritual thinking people are not under the Ten Commandments. 

If a person has the Holy Spirit then they are enabled to think spiritually.  This begins at conversion and is to grow over our lifetimes.  A babe in Christ is still to some degree carnally minded as shown by Paul’s reprimand of the Corinthians and Galatians. 

1 Corinthians 3:3 “for you are still carnal”

Galatians 3:3 “Are you so foolish after beginning in the spirit are you now trying to finish in the flesh ?”

How you think will greatly affect your understanding of the scriptures. If you desire to understand, as another example, 1 Peter 3:19-21, then you must think spiritually but if you think carnally you will include false carnal knowledge into your interpretation of these verses. 

 Paul says this very thing, 1 Corinthians 2:13  “These things we also speak not in words which man’s wisdom teaches (carnal thinking) but in those taught by the spirit comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”   If you think spiritually you will see that the idea of Jesus, after his death, preached to dead people in the days of Noah violates spiritual truths concerning life and death.  This false thinking stinks of the lies of denying the humanity of Jesus and promoting the immortal soul, purgatory and the trinity.  It totally ignores the truth of the resurrections and would bring into question the great white throne judgement because it would make each person’s judgement separate at their death rather than collectively at the great white throne.  The spiritually minded smell this stink but a babes sense of smell is not as good because of newly coming out of the world.  These two verses should not be viewed by a spiritually minded person as the truth because they contradict existing truths.  There are many instances in scripture where punctuation or misinterpretation will destroy the truth of scripture and 1 Peter 3:19-21 is only one example of this. Here is another……

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit”

There is no way the Apostle Matthew wrote this verse as it appears in all translations of the Bible.  This verse stinks to the high heavens because it goes against so many truths and is Trinitarian.  In Luke 24:47 it says, “and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name (Jesus) to all nations beginning in Jerusalem.”  By using spiritual thinking we know that repentance and forgiveness is what baptism is all about and it is in the name of Jesus this is done.  Remember, Jesus came and preached the gospel about repentance which leads to baptism and forgiveness of sins. 

The Apostles never used this trinitarian baptismal formula but baptized in the name of Jesus only.  Even though this corruption is in all the ancient manuscripts we have I am certain that the more ancient manuscripts that we do not have would would say, “baptizing them in my name”  Use your spiritual thinking, the FATHER did not die for you, we are baptized into Christs death not the FATHERS and the FATHER is the Holy Spirit but this corrupted verse gives HIS identity twice by saying in the name of the father and in the name of the Holy Spirit.  This is how we saints are empowered by the spirit of the FATHER to identify a lie and to correct it.  It is impossible for a carnal mind to see this.  Just look at modern day false Christianity, 98% are trinitarians.

If you were baptized in one of Satans churches then what would spiritual thinking teach you ?  How about this, “You cannot drink of the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons, you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.” 1 Corinthians 10:21   Now think spiritually……

Here is what spiritual thinking reveals about being baptized in one of Satans churches…… your satanic baptism is invalid obviously and you need to be, for the very first time, baptized with the one and only true baptism.  I guarantee you that your spiritual growth will accelerate afterwards.

If you have a carnal bias, an implanted idea, already in your mind about a scripture it will prevent you from seeing the truth.  This happens to babes in Christ often. It happened to me when I was a babe.  I speak from experience whereas the babe has yet to experience.  A babe in Christ can learn from a mature saints experience if they do not become offended and angry and taking the advice of the mature saint as insulting or condescending when it is given in love.  The babe in Christ must not rely on self, on their way of thinking when they were not yet called and chosen because it is carnal.

The saints are to bring every thought into subjection so that our thoughts, our way of thinking, is obedient to Christ, and we are to cast down arguments that are against the knowledge of GOD. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6   "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."

This ability to think spiritually is a gift from GOD.  It takes time to grow in any gift therefore all babes in Christ must understand this and not try to act “grown up” when they are not.  

Almost every article I have written on this blog employs spiritual thinking based entirely upon learned spiritual truth taught to me by GOD through Jesus Christ that cannot be compromised or violated in any way.  This is my foundation and the foundation of anyone who is an elect saint of GOD.  This is how and why the saints all know and speak the same things in total agreement, in unity of the faith.  Currently this spiritual condition of unity has not yet been achieved in the church but will be shortly before Christ returns. Revfelation 19:7  "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

 “Until we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of GOD,  to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:13

Even though we are not yet ready the spiritual journey towards this ideal way of spiritual thinking must never be neglected or abandoned. This is what growing in the spirit is all about.  

Timothy was a young man who was an evangelist and Paul told Timothy not to let other church members look down on him because of his youth.  1 Timothy 4:12  "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

This shows us that spiritual knowledge and wisdom, thinking spiritually,  is not always bound by the age of a person but most of the time it should follow that the longer someone has been in Christ the more mature they should be.  A babe in Christ could very well be advanced in years or very young like Timothy.  Physical age has nothing to do with spiritual thinking.  It is the time and commitment we put into our own growth in the Spirit.  I am over 70 years old and have been in Christ over 30 years but I would not be surprised to someday find another elect saint half my age that is more spiritually mature than I. I would also not be surprised to fine a babe in Christ my own age.

Remember the things addressed in this article and apply them in your life because they are your life. 

"The spirit is life the flesh profits nothing." John 6:63

TODAYS UNCONVERTED WILL BE TOMORROWS CONVERTED

 

Before my conversion I kept Easter, Sunday as the Sabbath, believed in conscious existence in heaven or hell, that Jesus was GOD the second person of a trinity and Easter and Christmas.  I no longer keep these beliefs because I was converted, received the spirit of the FATHER and have been taught the truth by HIM through Jesus Christ.  

The world mostly believes that people who are not “saved” in this life will suffer everlasting torment in hell.  Wow, talk about judgement with condemnation, something we true saints do not do.  When we judge we use righteous judgement without condemnation.  Yes, we see what the unconverted do and believe and we speak or write about these things showing they are not true but we have also the knowledge that there is hope for the unconverted that they themselves do not know.  

The blood of Christ has provided two resurrections of the dead, one for the converted and one for the unconverted separated by a thousand years.  GOD loves all people and HE determines the best time for conversion for all people.  This is why todays unconverted will be tomorrows converted. 

After Jesus returns the people who repented during the great tribulation will live into the millennium and everyone will have the Holy Spirit of the FATHER. The elect saints of today, then glorified, will be their teachers. The rest of the dead that perished during the tribulation and lived long ago will live again in the second resurrection and also be given the FATHERS spirit and we, todays elect, will be their teachers.  It will be at some time after that future second resurrection that the great white throne judgment will take place and anyone whose name is not in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, the second death. 

After all this the death of human beings ends, the law has passed away and there is no temple.  Righteousness will reign and sin totally abolished. People at that time will live their lives having families and children all being righteous.  At some point, after living for a time, they will be changed from human beings to spirit beings.  This is how the kingdom of GOD will increase without end.  Isaiah 9:7   Luke 1:32-33   Daniel 7:14   Revelation 11:15

Today, GODS elect saints understand that once they were unconverted children of the Devil, but GOD intervened for us, GOD will intervene for all people each in their assigned order.  

With this knowledge do not let your heart fear or be sad for your unconverted family and friends but rather love them but do not run in excess of riot after them. The elect are free to go to a feast and eat the food but if the conversation goes into something UNGODLY then politely excuse yourself and leave.  Usually nothing like this happens at the worlds pagan feast days. I have after my conversion attended Christmas dinners by relatives and friends and nothing religious ever came up.  I think because their focus was on the pagan customs and not any religious thing.  So, if you have an unconverted mate or family members or friends and you are invited to a feast, go to Christmas dinner, love your family and friends. Most people in your life already know you don’t keep their days or practices anyway and that your attendance is purely out of a desire to keep peace and not stir up trouble.  

If anyone happens to ask you about your beliefs and you know they are not doing it to cause a scene or trouble but in sincerity then only give enough to answer, don’t preach a sermon.  As much as it depends on you live in peace with all people.

Easter, for most of  Christianity, is the observing of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is always on a Sunday, the first Sunday after the full moon on or after the first day of spring.  It it usually celebrated by sunrise worship services and giving candy eggs and rabbits to children in Easter baskets.  This year Easter falls on Sunday April 5, 2026.  The Passover of the Jews will be on Wednesday April 8, 2026.  

Today the way Christians celebrate Easter is more of a modern development from what first century Christians did. First of all the first century church, at its start, kept the Passover that Jesus instituted at the last supper, and the church was composed completely of Jews because the Gentiles were not yet being called into the church. In order to correctly understand what happened in the death and resurrection of Jesus you have to look at these events through the eyes of a Jew.  This involves understanding of the Jewish practices of the first century. 

In the time of Jesus the days began and ended at sunset, not midnight like today, so when the scriptures refer to the dawn of a day they mean sunset, not sunrise.  A knowledge of the Jewish holy days is required to understand what happened that last week during which Jesus was crucified because it was during these holy days that Jesus was crucified.  An understanding of the history of the Catholic Church contains information about why Passover was changed to Easter in an event called the quartodeciman controversy occurring in the second century AD.  The Eastern Orthodox Church chose to keep the Passover on the 14th day of the first month on the Jewish calendar while the western church at Rome chose to keep Easter.  This decision by the Catholic removed the knowledge to understand just what took place during the last week of the life of Jesus because they completely abandoned all the Jewish teachings and replaced them with the customs of former pagans that joined the Catholic Church.  Have you ever wondered what eggs and rabbits have to do with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ ?  The answer is absolutely nothing. Then overtime much of the original practices of the first century church became lost to western civilization and Christianity. 

If you want to know just what took place in that last week of the life of Jesus then you must think like a Jew living in the first century in Jerusalem.  This is how the people that wrote the Bible, all of them Jewish, thought.  If you are willing to try then consider the following.

In that last week of the life of Jesus there were two sabbaths; an annual sabbath, the first day of unleavened bread, the 15th day, the day after Passover, that was called a high day in John 19:31, then the weekly sabbath, the 17th, when the sunset on Friday, the 16th, until it set again.  That week Passover, which is not a holy day, was on Wednesday the14th and the high day sabbath the next day on the 15th and is the day that the Jews did not want the bodies of the three who were crucified on the Passover to be on their crosses. Therefore Jesus had to be placed in a tomb before sunset, the beginning of the first day of unleavened bread on the 15th.  The only sign Jesus gave that he was the messiah is recorded in Matthew 12:40 that Jesus would be three days and three nights in the tomb. Beginning at Passover near sunset if you count three days and three nights you will arrive at Saturday before sunset. You cannot do this with the modern day Easter because there is no way to have three days and three nights from near sunset Friday to sunrise Sunday, which would only be one day and two nights. This does not fulfill the only sign Jesus gave.

What actually occurred was from a Passover Wednesday crucifixion and burial, that was near to sunset, then the next day Thursday was the high day sabbath of the first day of unleavened bread, followed by the preparation day, Friday, until late on the sabbath day would be three days and three nights. This scenario fulfills the sign Jesus gave.  So the just as the gospel of Matthew reports, “near the end of the sabbath as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week the two Mary’s came to the tomb and it was empty”, Jesus had risen near to the end of the weekly sabbath before the women arrived at the tomb. The king James, the American Standard, English Revised, Websters Bible, Youngs Literal, Lamsa Bible, Godbey New Testament and  Worrell New Testament are only a few translations that show a late in the sabbath day resurrection of Jesus. When the word dawn appears in these translations you must remember that days in the time of Jesus were sunset to sunset thus the “dawn” of a new day was at sunset, not midnight.  Do you see what the Catholic Church did by removing the Jewishness of those times that totally changed the facts that occurred during the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ ?  The Catholic Church replaced the true events with pagan practices, the church used pagan forms of worship to worship GOD and Jesus. Deuteronomy 12:29-32 

 ²⁹ The Lord your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land, ³⁰ and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.” ³¹ You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. ³² See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

 GOD forbids using pagan ways to worship HIM and HIS son.  The law of Moses contained all the holy days of the Jews and they were shadows and symbolism of what Jesus would fulfill in his lifetime.  To understand these holy days is to see how the flow of events transpired in that last week of the life of Jesus.  By doing away with all things Jewish the Catholic Church removed the knowledge required to understand the truth of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Catholic leadership chose to adopt pagan rituals that are still practiced today by many in both Catholic and Protestant Christians.  The only sign Jesus gave that he is our messiah is lost to anyone that is ignorant to the truth and instead keeps Good Friday and Easter Sunday.  In doing this they violate GODS command to not use pagan things to worship HIM or HIS son in Deuteronomy 12:29-32.

Easter is not the only example of using paganism because the custom of Christmas, the immortal soul and the trinity is pagan as well.

GOD ALMIGHTY desires us to worship HIM in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24 , “in spirit and in truth”, to worship in spirit means you cannot use physical things because the physical is not spirit. This includes using physical time or days, months, seasons or years. Galatians 4:9-11  Paul viewed keeping physical days to worship a GOD who is spirit the wrong thing to do and he feared for the Galatian people.  The true church of GOD keeps no days at all because they view all the days of their lives as holy to GOD who dwells in them, their bodies being the temple of GOD.  GOD does not dwell in churches and temples made by men. Acts 17:24  The true church of GOD does not build temples or churches, does not keep days, worships GOD in spirit and in truth and is taught the truth by GOD through Jesus Christ. John 6:43-45  1 John 2:27   John 14:26   John 16:13   

This article explains how pagan practices like Easter crept into Christianity to the degree that Christianity is no longer Christianity, it is paganism.  This was all predicted to happen by the prophets , Jesus and the Apostles.  Revelation 13:9  2 Timothy 3:1  Matthew 24:12  1 Timothy 4:1  2 Peter 3:3  2 Timothy 4:3 

So I hope you see that Easter is just one of many heresies that Jude describes, Jude 1:3-4

GODS PROMISE OF PROTECTION OF HIS ELECT SAINTS DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION

 

The following scriptures are GODS promise, to the elect Philadelphia church, of protection during the great tribulation. Some of these verses you may think apply to carnal Israel but remember currently the Israelites are antichrist and enemies of the gospel and GOD divorced them long ago and today has no earthly physical nation but a spiritual nation of HIS elect. 1 Peter 2:9  Remember also the grafting of the Gentiles into the olive tree which makes them a part of spiritual Israel not carnal Israel.  The ancient saints in Hebrews 11 are the root of the church and only the faithful Israelite and Gentile branches remain in that olive tree.  And now the scriptures:

Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept my command to persevere I will also keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole earth to test those who dwell on the earth.”

 

Revelation 7:3 “Do not harm the land, sea or trees until we have sealed the servants of our GOD on their foreheads.” 

 

Ezekiel 9:4-6  “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem,” said the LORD, “and put a mark on the foreheads of the men sighing and groaning over all the abominations committed there.”

5And as I listened, He said to the others, “Follow him through the city and start killing; do not show pity or spare anyone! 6Slaughter the old men, the young men and maidens, the women and children; but do not go near anyone who has the mark. Now begin at My sanctuary.” See Revelation 9:14-15

Daniel 11:32   Those who do wickedly against the (New) covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they (The people who were instructed) shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering. (Not the elect. It will be Laodiceans who fall by the sword)  See Revelation 3:1  Revelation 12:11 & Revelation 14:13

These are a few of the scriptures that show how GOD will protect the Philadelphia church, the elect, who are alive and remain when Jesus returns.

THE DAYS GIVEN IN DANIEL 1260 1290 1335 2300 2520

 

In Daniel chapters 7, 8, 9 & 12 the angel Gabriel gives Daniel a series of days that are contained in the 70th week of the 70 weeks prophecy.  Each number of days describes events that begin with the covenant the antichrist makes with 10 nations and ends with the return of Christ. 

2520- This is the total number of days in the covenant the man of sin makes with 10 nations which are also described as horns Revelation 17:16, kings Revelation 17:12 or toes Daniel 7:24.  The 2520 is derived by using the Hebrew year of 360 days times 7 years = 2520 days.  If we have a timeline with the days given in the book of Daniel it would be as shown below.

Day 1—- 1260 —- 1290 — 1335 —- 2300 —- 2520

Day 1 The covenant is made. Daniel 9:27  Revelation 17:12   Daniel 7:24   Revelation 16:14

1260 The covenant is broken and man of sin ends the  sacrifices. Daniel 9:27

1290 The abomination of desolation is set up as the man of sin sets in the third temple and declares himself GOD.   Daniel 12:11   Matthew 24:15  

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Daniel 11:31

1335 The 144,000 elect are sealed in their foreheads fulfilling the promise of Revelation 3:10  “I will keep you from the hour of trial which will come upon all the world”  Ezekiel 9:4   Revelation 7:3  Revelation 9:4  Revelation 14:1  Revelation 22:4  Malachi 3:16-18 

2300 Return of Jesus Christ  Daniel 8:13-14  Ezekiel 21:27  Genesis 49:10

2520 This was to be the length of days of the 7 year covenant but is cut short by 220 days for the sake of GODS elect. Matthew 24:22 “the days will be shortened”

70 weeks prophecy is Daniel chapter 9.  Beginning in verse 21 the angel Gabriel arrives and informs Daniel that 70 weeks, verse 24, were decreed for Israel and Jerusalem to achieve the following;

 “ to stop Israel’s transgression, put an end to sin, make atonement for iniquity, bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the holy of holies.” 

To anoint the most holy place, Daniel 8:14 Strongs H6663 —- to appear righteous, to justify

It is obvious from how Gabriel describes events, that most have already happened for us,  beginning with the decree of Cyprus King of Persia and ending with the crucifixion of Jesus and destruction of Jerusalem and  the temple.  Daniel 9:26

 Now beginning in Daniel 9:27, the 70th week, mentions; 

“a covenant that is made with many” 

which did not happen after the destruction of the second temple described in verse 26,

 “will destroy the city and the sanctuary” 

also after the second temple was destroyed the sacrifices and offerings stopped in 70AD, so this 70th week mentions AGAIN  in verse 27 putting and end to sacrifice and offering. 

“In the middle of the week he will end sacrifice and offering.” 

It also mentions the abomination of desolation that Jesus also describes, Matthew 24:15 , as an event just preceding the great tribulation which will lead to the destruction decreed upon the man of sin Paul mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 .  If you are observant all of this 70th week is what takes place in the days Daniel records; 1260   1290   1335   2300   2520 .  The gap existing between the 69th and 70th weeks is from the second temple destruction to;

 “and until the end war and desolations are decreed”

  describing things that happened from 70AD until the man of sin makes the covenant with 10 nations.  Jesus also said this in Matthew 24:6-8 

 “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but do not be alarmed. These things must happen but the end is not yet. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of sorrows.”  

Jesus, in his Olivet prophecy,  is going through the days of Daniel beginning with his prediction of the destruction of the second temple all the way to his return. Jesus mentions the abomination of desolation and the great tribulation saying that immediately after it he will return and that the days of the tribulation are cut short for the elects sake.  Jesus even warns us about the false prophet in Revelation 13:13-14 .  Jesus warns the church to not become Laodiceans, Matthew 24:48-51.  Revelation 16:15

We are currently living near the end of this “beginning of sorrows” period of time and are waiting to see this 70th week begin.  This covenant with these 10 nations will then begin the 70th week lasting 7 years minus 220 days.

 Jesus said, “this generation will not pass away until ALL THESE THINGS ARE FULFILLED.”  Matthew 24:34  

 In order to see “all these things” come to pass includes the return of Jesus which did not happen during the lifetimes of the people who heard Jesus give this prophecy, therefore it must be a future generation that Jesus is referring to.    LUKE 21:36

The current war with Iran against Israel and the U.S. has the potential to culminate in this ten nation covenant of the man of sin. At present it is to soon to confirm this.  It will depend on exactly how events unfold.  Keep watch.

THINGS TO COME

 Have you ever thought about the things to come, the future ?  Jesus told us to watch what is happening in the world and from that combined with his prophetic statements and those of the prophets and Apostles arrive at an understanding of where we are in the great plan of things.  

Matthew 24 ,  Mark 13 and Luke 21 are three accounts of what is called the Olivet prophecy.  In each of these three accounts the destruction of the second temple is mentioned and indeed that event occurred in 70 AD. 

 In his response to the question from his disciples Jesus never brought up the second temple destruction again but rather focused on answering the question the disciples asked him. When shall these things be and the sign of your coming and the end of the age ?  These were NOT  separate questions because the end of the age is the return of Jesus.  

Although this would be a disappointment it was also encouraging and edifying to insure that those who would remain faithful would indeed inherit the kingdom of GOD.   From the beginning of the response Jesus gives to his disciples question Jesus never mentions the second temple again but does explain future events that  would happen.  When our mind’s focus on the second temple, as having to do with the events Jesus spoke about, our thoughts will attempt to make what Jesus said fall in line with that idea.  This is a big mistake.  All through the verses in his answer that Jesus gives are one continuous answer.  There is no break in the middle that goes back to the second temple destruction, it’s not there.  To attempt to include this idea in the prophecy will lead to a misunderstanding of prophecy.  Just as the church and the Apostles misunderstood by thinking Jesus would return in their lifetime. Example of this is, 1 John 2:18 "We know this is the last hour" John truly thought Jesus would return in his life time.  The Apostle Paul describing the return said, "We who are alive and remain" indicating himself and those he was writing to would see the return of Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17  Then Peter in 1 Peter 4:7 said, "The end of all things is at hand."  James 5:8 “ the coming of the Lord is at hand”. All of these Apostles thought Jesus would return in their lifetimes.  This is because they thought the destruction of the second temple would herald the second advent.

Some go to great lengths to connect the second temple destruction to events that are all yet future saying that certain events were fulfilled in 70 AD  with the destruction of the second temple when the information Jesus gives has nothing to do with the second temple.  The reason for this misconception is that Jesus did mention the second temple’s destruction in passing due to the comments of the disciples when they all were at the temple earlier , but later, on the mount of Olives, the prophetic events Jesus gave are thought by many to be connected with the second temple when they are not.  All the prophecy Jesus gave leads up to the third temple, the true time of his return and the fulfillment of those signs he gave.  Try giving a reading of all three gospel accounts of the Olivet discourse with the third temple in mind rather than the second.  There is no break in the narrative, Jesus relays information to answer the question that his disciples asked, “what is the sign of your coming and the end of the age.” The second temple had nothing to do with what Jesus said but the third temple does.  The comment Jesus made about the second temple was non sequitur, it wasn’t connected to the remarks he made later on the Mount of Olives.  One matter dealt only with the second temple destruction and the other with, “what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age” , two unrelated topics.  The disciples said, “when shall these things be” and immediately people want to connect everything Jesus said to the second temple’s destruction.  In Acts 1:6-7 the disciples asked, “will you at this time restore the kingdom of Israel” , because they were thinking the destruction of the second temple would bring the kingdom of GOD.  The answer Jesus gave should put and end to this and all questions about the timing of the arrival of the kingdom and the events leading up to it. “It is not for you to know the times and the seasons which the FATHER has put in HIS own authority.”  People come up with all sorts of ideas about what Matthew 24 is saying but they will be wrong because only the FATHER knows and HE reveals HIS secrets only to HIS servants the prophets and today that is the church. Unto you, (or us the church) , it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of GOD, but to others it is not given.  Matthew 13:11

To summarize; the knowledge given in the book of Revelation could not have been known prior to 70 AD because the church at that time believed that Christ would return in their lifetime and they thought the second temple destruction would be the sign of the return of Jesus.  They had no knowledge of a future third temple.  If the church had the knowledge contained in the book of Revelation in 67 AD they would have known that the return of Jesus was far off, along with the events concerning the end of the age.  

In Daniel 8:14 “then the sanctuary shall be cleansed” if you look up the Hebrew word for “cleansed” it is Strongs G6663 meaning,  “to be turned to righteousness, justified, to make right in a moral sense.”  This event occurs at the 2300 days when Jesus returns therefore the third temple is not destroyed as the first and second temples were. This is the fulfillment of Ezekiel 21:27 “I will overturn, overturn, overturn it and it shall be no more until he who comes whose right it is (Jesus) and I will give it to him.”  This confirms that Jesus will be given the third overturning of the temple.  Since the second temple was destroyed it cannot be the temple mentioned in Matthew 24:15 or Revelation 11:1  

In Daniel 9:26 the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple by the Romans in 70 AD is recorded but in the very next verse, verse 27, the abomination of desolation is set up in a temple . In 2 Thessalonians 2:4, the event described here by Paul, who thought Jesus would return very soon, no doubt thought the man of sin would be in the second temple.  Daniel 9:26-27 shows the desolation happening after the Romans destroyed the second temple thus indicating that there will be a third temple.

Polycarp, a disciple of the Apostle John, lived from 69 AD to 155 AD . He was an infant when the second temple was destroyed.  To have been taught by the Apostle John Polycarp would had to have been old enough to understand.  Polycarp was only a year old when the second temple was destroyed.  If we estimate Polycarp was 20 when he began to be instructed by John then it would have been about 89 AD and both John and Polycarp would have known about the destruction of the second temple but neither mention it in their writings thus showing its insignificance in events concerning prophecy or doctrine.  The church had no need of a physical temple.  Acts 17:24

No Emperor prior to Nerva had ever released    prisoners from the isle of Patmos, Nerva is the only one and he reigned from 96 AD to 98 AD .  Therefore the book of Revelation had to have been written sometime between 96 & 98 AD while John was on Patmos. It is not realistic that John would have been on Patmos for 30 years. You can verify this information in secular history free from religious bias  on the internet. Following the death of Emperor Domitian in 96 AD, his successor Nerva recalled exiles and released prisoners, an act historically documented to include those banished to Patmos, notably the Apostle John

. This move helped restore order and reversed the tyrannical policies, including treason trials, of the previous administration.

The idea of Preterism, both full and partial, began in the Catholic Church as a response to Protestants saying the Pope was the antichrist. Certain Jesuit priests concocted the idea that the book of Revelation was written in 67 AD thus placing the antichrist before the destruction of the second temple thereby disproving the accusation that the Pope is the antichrist.  At the time of the Counter-Reformation, the Jesuit Luis de Alcasar wrote a prominent preterist exposition of prophecy.^{[3][page needed][4]} Moses Stuart noted in 1845 that Alcasar's preterist interpretation advantaged the Roman Catholic Church during its arguments with Protestants,^[5] and Kenneth Newport in an eschatological commentary in 2000 described preterism as a Catholic defense against the Protestant historicist view which identified the Roman Catholic Church as a persecuting apostasy.^[6]   His work, published posthumously in 1614, sought to counter Protestant interpretations that identified the Pope as the Antichrist, proposing instead that prophecies in Revelation were fulfilled in the first century.

 This historical information is also available on the internet.  In addition, two early church members, Irenaeus of Lions and Eusebius of Caesarea, wrote about the Apostle Johns exile to Patmos and place the date during the reign of Domitian in AD 95 and John was later released by emperor Nerva in AD 96.  

Emperor Nerva was known as one of the 5 good Emperors who instituted many reforms including ending banishing people who opposed unfair treatment and freed political prisoners and exiles, restored the Roman senates influence and no longer executed Senators and returned property to prisoners and exiles.  It was during Nerve's reign that the Apostle John was released from Patmos in about 96 AD.  John was sent to Patmos during the reign of Domitian, 81 AD to 96 AD.  Therefore the second temple that was destroyed in 70 AD cannot be the temple John described in the Revelation.  The early church under the leadership of the Apostles believed Jesus would return in their lifetime and based this on the assumption that the second temple destruction would set in motion the Olivet prophecy.  They had no knowledge of a future third temple that is currently planned to be built by groups in Israel.  

The great tribulation is said by Preterists to have occurred in 70 AD with the destruction of the second temple by the Romans.  Jesus described the tribulation as a time unparalleled in human history that if not shortened would kill all humanity.  There are ten nations that come against Jerusalem in the future not just one as in AD 70.  There was no man of sin in the temple declaring himself GOD.  Immediately after the tribulation Christ returns which did not happen in 70 AD.  There are so many things that just don’t add up with the Preterist view of prophecy.  Therefore full Preterism is a heresy and partial Preterism is partly a heresy.  GODS truth contains no heresies either full or partial.

In other articles on this blog I have proven that Jerusalem is the harlot and Israel is the beast rising up out of the sea, therefore Rome, nor any of its emperor’s can be the beast.  Rome has nothing to do with the end times. The popular belief is that Rome is the beast in Revelation but full Preterists base their interpretations of the Olivet prophecy on this idea. It is odd that some partial Preterists acknowledge Jerusalem not Rome as the harlot, an understanding that should have informed them of their incorrect interpretations of the Olivet prophecy. 

I have spent many hours on the internet looking into the history of the early church and the writings of the post Apostolic church leadership. I have researched the Roman Emperors who reigned during the times of these events in dispute and have concluded that any form of Preterism is not true. 

 This will mean nothing to those who hold to the idea of Preterism. This is similar to the false idea of the immortal soul, the trinity or legalism, that those who hold to these beliefs will not give them up no matter how much evidence exists to disprove them.
