DO INSECTS FISH AND PLANTS HAVE A SPIRIT ?

 

In response to a comment made by anonymous about the article titled “Spirits” I write this article to address the question asked, “What about insects, fish or plants, do they have a spirit ?”  I must confess that at first this question threw me, took me by surprise.  It was something that I had not ever thought about. After thinking, meditating and desiring GODS help the answers began to formulate in my mind and I consulted the scriptures.  The results are given below.

Every living thing breaths something. Nothing can survive in a vacuum, even extremophiles.  The breath required for life is not always a nitrogen oxygen atmosphere. Most Plants gravitate towards sunlight seek moisture and draw nutrients from the soil.  Whatever any type of plant does is what all plants of the same type do, there is no variety, no change, thus indicating no conscience, no thought, just non-sentient. The same is true of insects .  It is as though all plants and insects are preprogrammed to do whatever it is that they do.  In order for any life to be alive, and plants are alive, some type of spirit must be present, but this spirit is far different than that of humans and animals.  Humans are the highest form of animal and all other animals are far below them in intelligence and humans are sentient, that is awareness of self and others. 

 Each living thing has a spirit tailor made to what they are. Each after it’s own kind. Various kinds of behaviors are expected from each animal, they each have their own unique nature.  Cats don’t chase cars or lift their legs at fire hydrants.  Horses don’t climb trees or howl at the moon.  These things are obvious to the observer.  Fish are in their own way similar in this respect but even though the lower animals; fish, plants and insects are all different and operate differently from each other, they all need spirit in order to be alive. 

The following scriptures, I hope, may help in understanding all of these various life forms and even though there are drastic differences between them they all are alive. 

Ecclesiastes 3:19-20  “For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them all, as one dies so dies the other. Surely they all have one breath (the breath of life) man has no advantage over the animals, for all is vanity. All go to the same place; all come from dust and all to dust return.”

Genesis 7:22-23  “Everything on dry land that had breath in its nostrils died; people, animals, creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the face of the Earth.”

Genesis 6:17  “And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the Earth to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the Earth will perish.”

Genesis 1:30  “And to all the beasts of the Earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground, everything that has the breath of life in it, I give every green plant for food. And it was so.”

Genesis 8:13. “And never again will I destroy all living creatures as I have done.”

There are some in the scientific community that believe even plants have feelings and intelligence but scripture testifies that only humans are sentient.  You never see plants building sky scrapers or going to the moon.  Plants are the lowest form of life followed by bacteria, insects, aquatic, land creatures, humans, angels, Jesus and GOD.   GOD is the creator of all spirits, excepting HIMSELF, spirit is the breath of life and no life can exist in a vacuum.  

Extremophiles, or life that lives under extreme conditions of temperature variations and pressure variations, do exist and some while in the vacuum of space cannot thrive or reproduce and are dormant; which are conditions that are not life or living. True life is action, movement, processing and procreating.  Only Earth has extremophiles and some have been taken into space by astronauts and exposed to the vacuum of space and survived for various periods of time but never have any alien extremophiles been discovered.  

 If there are life forms on other planets I don’t believe that it would be sentient but more along the line of plants, microorganisms, or possibly slightly higher animal life.  Scripture is silent about this and concentrates on Earth not outer space.  

GOD created perhaps billions of spirits and each unique to the creature that they would be.  To be alive requires that life the spirit gives.  So yes, plants, insects, fish, bacteria and all others things, if alive have a spirit. 

“It is the spirit that gives life the body of any life form profits nothing.”  Modified John 6:63

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FAITH OF GODS ELECT SAINTS

 

You and I have a human nature that is not the nature GOD created us with.  Our natures have been infected by sin and we all are by this infection evil just as our father the Devil.  If GOD calls and chooses us “out of this world” we begin to partake of HIS divine nature.  2 Peter 1:4  When converted with a portion of GODS spirit we become a new creation in Christ.  2 Corinthians 5:17 

Jesus Christ was indeed a human being exactly like all humans physically but spiritually Jesus was totally filled with his GODS spirit unlike the elect who only have a portion.  Jesus did not have this evil human nature in him.  The scriptures say, “In him was no sin.” 1 John 3:5  This is the reason for the virgin birth.

 Jesus said he was not of this creation. John 8:23  Our human spirit is the real us, our body is only the shell containing our spirit.  The same was true of Jesus.  What made Jesus different from us is that his FATHER was GOD ALMIGHTY.  The virgin birth completely removed Jesus from any possibility of sin. The human spirit of Jesus was created by GOD just as all human spirits are but the spirit of Jesus was created by GOD righteous.  Isaiah 53:11 1 John 2:1  Acts 3:14   Acts 22:14   1 Peter 3:18  

Jesus Christ was just as righteous as his GOD and filled with agape (GODS love).  Jesus was incapable of sin because he had the fullness of the divine nature, filled with all the fullness of GOD.  Colossians 1:15  Hebrews 1:3 2 Corinthians 4:4  

Jesus was a mortal human being who GOD created as the first new man, the second Adam.  When GOD created Adam HE did not create Adam good or evil.  The two trees in the garden were a choice; everlasting life or everlasting death, love and obey GOD or obey Satan.  Adam chose wrong and now we all must live with that choice and die because of it.  Jesus Christ, in order to be the fulfillment of the Passover lamb, had to be pure and undefiled, not just free of sin but incapable of sin.  

No human being, even GODS elect saints, have yet attained to the level of Christ.  We, the elect saints, are being transformed into the image of Christ who was the image of GOD.  The completion of this transformation happens when we are changed from flesh to spirit, from human being to spirit being at the return of Jesus .  Christ as a human being, was absolute perfection in the flesh, holy, righteous and agape.  Jesus was the beginning of a new creation, a Genesis 2 so to speak, and we are part of that new creation if we are in Christ.  

Today all of false Christianity is completely ignorant of these things and are under the sway of the wicked one.  1 John 5:19  The elect of GOD have escaped this condemnation, received mercy and forgiveness, been given a portion of the spirit of GOD and an unfading sure hope of immortality and impeccability.

The Pentecost church was not the beginning of Christianity.  Jesus is called the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, this shows us that his blood covers people from Adam forward.  There were saints existing before Jesus existed and the names of some of them are recorded in the book of Hebrews chapter 11.  These people are the root of the olive tree in Romans 11.  Do not boast against this root because it supports you. How could this be unless the root was Christian ?  Unless the prophets are of the church. Ephesians 2:20   The foundation of any building is what holds up the building.

The new covenant and Pentecost church was the continuation of GODS calling of HIS elect saints.  Jesus “came to his own people who rejected him and murdered him”. This was Israel’s last opportunity for salvation in this current age. Not long after Jesus ascended the number of converted Israelites decreased while the number of Gentiles increased.  After much persecution and attempts on his life by the Jews the Apostle Paul finally gave up on the Jews and went only to the Gentiles. Acts 18:6 

Paul revealed to us that this was a mystery, the calling of the Gentiles, the time of the Gentiles and the veil was spread over Israel and all nations and would not be lifted until they come to Christ.  For Israel this will be during the millennium and second resurrection.  Therefore the New Testament is nothing more than the continuation of GODS calling of HIS elect into HIS church , first to Israel then to the Gentiles, but those who were first shall be last and those who were last shall be first.  

Much confusion exists concerning spiritual knowledge and wisdom in this world because the vast majority of the people yet belong to Satan.  Their minds have been seared with a hot iron and are past feeling.  Ephesians 4:19   Romans 1:24-28   This is the a repeat of the days of Noah. Matthew 24:37   

To read and understand the scriptures you not only must have the spirit of GOD but also be mature enough to rightly divide the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15   Paul said these words to Timothy who was an evangelist in the early church.  2 Timothy 4:5   If Paul’s words apply to Timothy would they not apply to all GODS elect ? Especially to babes in Christ, new converts.  

GOD gives gifts to HIS saints and one of them is to be enabled to handle the word of GOD with unique skill.  These types are guided by the spirit to see the spiritual meaning of even what many consider to be complex verses.  They are shown the spiritual compared to the spiritual, to shine the light of Christ on scripture to give the truth contained in scripture. GOD controls this, the person doesn’t and GOD decides what is to be revealed and what is not.  GOD controls the times of Revelation and how far the content of it goes.  This type of person controls none of what causes understanding.  This person shares with his brethren the things they receive from GOD. The official title of this person is prophet or prophetess.  Today, and since the death of the Apostle John, all of GODS elect hold this title. All are able to use this gift of prophecy according to the grace given and to the degree or proportion of each one’s faith. Romans 12:6   This gift, as all others, is for the edification of the church.  GOD determines the power behind the gift in accordance with how we have individually grown in the faith.  No one should become angry, offended or jealous concerning gifts as it isn’t a matter of human ego but on GOD who bestows them.  

All of GODS elect from sometime after the death of the Apostle John, I don’t know the exact time, are what I call Cornelius Christians, that is they had the Holy Spirit before they were baptized.  With the terrific degree of Satans deception in the world and no true men of GOD to preach the true gospel, no money to operate and thousands of false churches how does a person get out of deception to understand the truth ?  GODS spirit is the only way to the truth, so GOD gives HIS spirit first then it is followed by the one and only true baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.  No other baptism you may have received in Satans churches is valid, how can it be when your baptized into Satan ?  I know many people that don’t understand this saying it’s a personal choice but how is it your choice when it’s a command of Jesus himself ?  Acts 2:38   Matthew 24:19   Galatians 3:27   Baptism is mandatory but it must be the true one.  

All of GODS elect have been purchased, bought and paid for, by the blood of HIS son and they belong to GOD.  Under these circumstances we submit and desire to be GODS property, never quenching or grieving HIS Holy Spirit but yielding our will to HIS will just as Jesus did in his human existence as an example to us.  

From the time of righteous Able until the last of GODS elect are called and chosen the total number of them will be 144,000.  The innumerable multitude will be included by martyrdom, being killed by the beast during the great tribulation. 

The Ten Commandments are what humans need saved from because they are what condemns all people to everlasting death.  If it were not for GOD providing two resurrections a thousand years apart, the first for the church only and the second for the rest of humanity, this death sentence by the law would be everlasting.  Our first death we die because we are mortal but the second death is the everlasting death and is what Jesus saves us from but each one in his own order.  There is more than one day of salvation.  Jesus compares salvation into the kingdom of GOD to a woman baking three loaves of bread with leaven until all three were leavened. The leaven symbolizes the Holy Spirit and the three loaves symbolizes the three different times GOD offers salvation; today, the millennium and the second resurrection.  

When GODS people have opportunity to fellowship by whatever means afterwards they take the bread and wine as Jesus told us to.  1 Corinthians 11:24-25  The bread is leavened and the wine is real wine not grape juice.  The bread and wine symbolizes the body and blood sacrifice of Jesus for us. Jesus assures us that someday he will be with us personally to drink wine with us in the kingdom of  his GOD.  Matthew 26:29  

 

THE JEHOVAHS WITNESSES CULT AND ALL OTHER CULTS OF THIS DECEIVED WORLD

 This article is written in love for all my readers who have been or may yet be in the cult of the Jehovahs Witnesses or any other cult pretending to be Christian.  Whether you believed Jesus was GOD or an angel and you were baptized into these lies your baptism was worthless.  Now if you have been called and chosen, given the spirit to see this, then you need to obey the command of the Lord Jesus Christ and be baptized in his name.  

 

 When you became a member you were baptized into this belief system.  It was mandatory that you be in agreement with all the teachings of the governing body or you would be in big trouble, isn’t that right ?  

 

Now, below I have listed some of the beliefs that you embraced when you made the commitment by baptism into the Jehovahs Witnesses.  If I am in error on any of these please let me know in the comments.

1. Jesus preexisted as Michael the arch angel and was the first creation of GOD.

2. Only 144,000 of the membership will go to heaven and from there rule with Christ.

3. Only these 144,000 can partake of the bread and wine.

4. The refusal of blood transfusions.

5. The insistence that Jesus was crucified on a stake and not a cross. (This is irrelevant to the faith)

6. That the group of witnesses not included in the 144,000 will live forever in the flesh as human beings on paradise Earth.

7. That the kingdom of GOD was established in heaven in 1914.

8. That Satan was cast out of heaven in 1914.

9. Rulership is by a governing body composed of the 144,000.

10. They keep the new covenant Passover only once a year coinciding with the Old Testament Passover date of Nisan 14th.  (This is old covenant)

11. They conduct door to door evangelism in the attempt to fulfill the great commission.

12. They say the Ten Commandments have been abolished by Jesus’s sacrifice.

13.  They claim to be Jehovahs “witnesses” or a person or persons that have actually seen an event as it was taking place.  A witness must see and or hear a real time event in order to testify as to its truthfulness and accuracy. I dare say that no Jehovahs Witnesses were living in the first century.

14. They insist that GODS name is Jehovah. What about YAHWEH, EL SHADDAI, or FATHER ?

15. They believe Jesus was raised from the dead spiritually not physically.

16. Their baptism is into their organization not into Christ alone. They see baptism also as one’s dedication to Jehovah and his earthly organization.  They accept the teachings of Jesus but link baptism to the organization of the Jehovahs Witnesses. This is what other churches in the world do. Baptism is directly linked to the teachings of each church. 

17. They believe Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday.

These 17 teachings of the Jehovahs Witnesses can be easily proven to be irrelevant nonsense or false by the scriptures.  Just as with all other earthly false churches they fall prey to the doctrines invented by carnal minds. They do have some things that are correct but these only serve as a lure to hook the people into joining them just as this method is used by Satan in all other false churches. Other examples are the law deception by Herbert W. Armstrong,

 

 the prosperity gospel,

 

avoiding hell gospel or the false claims of Anthony Buzzard. 

 

 Satan will allow a little truth but then mix it with a lot of lies.  This violates the spiritual principle of “no lie is of the truth”.  1 John 2:21 and the scriptures cannot be broken.  Matthew 14:32  2 Timothy 3:16 

If you came out of the cult of the Jehovahs Witnesses or any cult, the only way this could happen is that GOD would give you a portion of HIS spirit to see the deception you were in.  The baptism you had in the cult was false because, “he who BELIEVES and is baptized”, you must come to know the truth and the truth will set you free. You were baptized into a cult and now that the spirit of GOD has brought you out, you need the one true baptism in Christ. 

 

 I was in the cult of the Worldwide Church of God and after being led out by the spirit I came to see that my baptism into this cult was a lie and I was then baptized in the name of Jesus only.  After this my growth in the Spirit accelerated dramatically and I was able to eat meat and not just drink milk. 

 

The same thing will happen to anyone in any cult if GOD decides to call you out of it.   

When GOD speaks to us by HIS Spirit to our spirit we do not always perceive this and think it is our own thoughts.  I did this too at first but then it dawned on me that hey, I didn’t know these things, I was ignorant of them, how could they have originated in me ?  I am not that smart.  These thoughts were going against everything I was taught by the cult I was in.  Then I realized it was GOD giving me those thoughts.  How can you or I think about something we are totally ignorant of ?  It’s like trying to teach a cat algebra.

 

Over time we learn to recognize this voice in our minds and learn to trust the voice.  I have heard this voice many times since I was first converted.  We don’t control when this voice speaks it just does when GOD speaks to us by a voice.  Psalm 62:11  Job 26:14   Hebrews 1:2   Hebrews 3:15   Acts 10:15   Jesus said his FATHERS  Spirit is what leads us into all truth.  John 16:13  Were you guided into all truth in the JW’s ?  

I was not alone in this experience there were several others of GODS elect that were called and chosen along with me and we were all taught by GOD through Jesus Christ.  I have said before that all of GODS elect saints are prophets and prophetesses receiving divine revelation teaching from GOD.  We all learn from the FATHER through Jesus.  John 6:45. Isaiah 54:13   1 John 2:27   John 10:27  1 Corinthians 2:10-13   John 14:26    

While I have focused on the Jehovahs Witnesses in this article I point out the fact that all the false churches on this Earth are cults too.

GOD can  give HIS spirit before baptism.  All the ancient saints before Jesus had the Holy Spirit but were circumcised not baptized. When Jesus went to John the Baptist to be baptized it wasn’t for himself but for those ancient elect saints in order to, “fulfill all righteousness”  Matthew 3:15  and “confirm the promises” made to  the fathers."  Jesus was the promised seed of Abraham.  Romans 15:8  Acts 3:25-26  Acts 13:32-33  After the baptism by John circumcision was abolished in the church and baptism took its place. How can your baptism be valid if you were baptized into an angels death ? 

 

 

 

Did an angel die for you or was it the human son of GOD.  Once you are led by GODS spirit to believe the truth then you need to be baptized into Christ.

Please do not be offended by this article.  As I said in the beginning of it, it was written in GODLY love. As someone who has been in Christ now for over 30 years I know what I have written here is true.  When Peter commanded that Cornelius was to be baptized there was no objection from Cornelius, was there.  Cornelius desired to obey the command of Jesus.  Many have said to me that this is a personal decision but it is not if it is a command, is it ?  There are 4 witnesses I know who can testify to the truth written here because they all have experienced it.  

Ask yourself, how did I come to know the truth that caused me to leave whatever cult I was in ? There are no Apostles to preach to you, the true church is scattered to the four winds and the chance of receiving the truth from one of these elect would be extremely rare.  The true church is not engaged in preaching the gospel to the world.  Even if you did meet one of GODS elect would you believe them ?  These road blocks are almost insurmountable to the degree that divine intervention was necessary to bring you out of the cult that you are in.  GOD had to give you HIS Holy Spirit and enough knowledge of the truth for you to see that you are in a cult.  When this happens you must leave the cult and now free from it be led by the Holy Spirit to see that your baptism into the cult was false and you need the true baptism into Christ.  Don’t you see you had to have the Holy Spirit first to get you out of the cult ?   Conditions in the world and in the true church are not like it was in the first century AD.  You wouldn’t have had much of a chance at all to escape the cult unless GOD gives you HIS spirit.  There is not a church of this world that preaches the true gospel. There are a few that come close but coming close only counts in horseshoes. 

 

 No lie is of the true gospel and all the gospels preached by the worlds churches to various degrees have lies.  The only way to hear the true gospel is by GODS spirit teaching you.   This is how it works from about the second century AD to the 21st century AD all converted elect of GOD are Cornelius Christians.
