BEING A CHRISTIAN IS NOT EASY

 Being a Christian in this world is not an easy thing because what is in the world, it’s religions , governments and institutions are of Satan.  Jesus never promised his followers a bed of roses.   Matthew 5:11,12    A Christian is going against the flow of Satanic society and because of this will not fit in.  1 Peter 4:4   A Christian has been given much and therefore much is required.  Luke 12:48

There are only two ways to anything, GODS ways and Satans ways.  There is good and evil. Old covenant /new covenant, The true GOD or the god of this world.  The children of GOD or the children of Satan.  Our FATHER in heaven or our father the Devil.  The kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of Satan.  The light of GOD or the darkness of the Devil.  Life or death.  Adam had a choice in Eden and with knowledge chose Satan over GOD.  

There is a record in scripture about people that made the good choice like; Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Joseph and Moses.  All these people and others are listed in Hebrews 11, the faith chapter.  The lives of all these people were not always pleasant and plentiful without any problems, usually it was the opposite.  Hebrews 11:38  Today it is the same as it was then.  To be in the world but not of the world is a great challenge but it is coming out from among the world and being separate.  How far does this separation go ?  What do GOD and Christ command us to do ?  2 Corinthians 6:17   These are questions that scripture does provide answers to.  At first you may not like the answers but over time you should come to understand them.  

Christians owe GOD their total allegiance.  Matthew 22:37.   Christians must have faith, hope and trust in GOD only.  The world does not know or follow GODS will but Christians do.  Matthew 6:10   GODS will is not in the world now, but Satans will is.  Satan is the world’s father and his children do his will. John 8:44    Christians have the true GOD as their FATHER and are to do HIS will.   1 Peter 2:15 

As we must overcome this world we must also overcome our own sins.  The FATHER has instituted the program of grace that forgives our sins through the sacrifice of HIS son.  Ephesians 2:8   The world is under the law,  Romans 3:19 ,  but the saints are under the law of love.  GODS love, or agape, is what fulfills the law and this for the saints becomes the new definition for sin; whatever is not of GODS love is sin.  GODLY love is in the saints by HIS spirit in us. Romans 5:5   Romans 13:10    

The saints have great confidence in the hope given them .  GOD is working in them to bring them into HIS kingdom.  In our struggle with the world and ourselves Christ has already won the victory and our faith holds firm in all of GODS promises.  

The saints do not deserve this nor can they earn it.  It is all GODS love and mercy.  The “works” of a Christian are GODS love working through us and we willingly Submit to GODS will for us. We have no works of our own as it is well known that salvation is not by any works of our own, therefore the works are GODS in us.  

No one can decide to “let Jesus into their heart”, GOD decides who is called and chosen, you can’t join GODS church, GOD must put you in. 

 No one has direct access to GOD, there is a mediator, Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the mediator between GOD and man therefore Jesus can’t be GOD else GOD would be the mediator. 

 Jesus is not the creator, his FATHER is.  GOD has made Jesus HIS heir to everything HE created so, if Jesus was GOD he would be his own heir. 

 In the book of Revelation Jesus calls his FATHER his GOD.  Several letters of the Apostles in the greeting say, “Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  

Only GOD through Jesus is able to teach people HIS truth that will show that the world’s churches do not know GODS truth.
