DO ALL PEOPLE HAVE GODS HOLY SPIRIT

 The title of this article addresses a false teaching that is in some of the false churches.  When you examine the scriptures it is easily proven false.  The entire Bible was written like a gigantic parable that requires the Holy Spirit to understand.  There are numerous symbolic meanings, analogies and shadows that can be interpreted in many different ways.  However, there is only one way that contains the truth.  Even though the Bible has been altered by evil men to support false doctrine this is not a problem for GOD.

Long before there was any scripture men like Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Melchizedek , Isaac and Jacob knew the truth of GOD.  All these men of faith are in Hebrews 11.  They are part of the foundation of the church.   They all had imputed righteousness because of their faith and all of them will be in the kingdom of GOD in the first resurrection.  The Bible was not written for the unconverted world but for the saints.  The scriptures were inspired by GODS Holy Spirit to humans that had GODS Holy Spirit.  If everyone on earth had GODS Holy Spirit then everyone would be a Christian, is that the case ?  The Holy Spirit is a gift, how could it be a gift if everyone already has GODS Holy Spirit ?  It is like immortality, no one has it naturally, it is a gift.  People without the Holy Spirit come up with all kinds of ideas that are not true.  The trinity is a great example as the Holy Spirit reveals that there is only one true GOD, the FATHER, the GOD of Jesus Christ.  Even though the trinity is easily proven false by the saints who have the Holy Spirit the people who believe it do so with great gusto.  As Jude said, certain people have crept in unawares and changed the truth of GOD into a lie, these people are agents of Satan in sheep’s clothing but inside are raving wolves.  Anyone who thinks they are a minister, a leader and teacher is a liar because no one can have the truth of GOD unless GOD reveals and teaches it through Christ.  Jesus taught thousands of people but on Pentecost only 120 were present.  The Apostles could preach the gospel until blue in the face but only GOD could give the increase or understanding of it.  Even among the saints this is true.  One saint can tell another , share with another saint,  a truth but the same spirit that taught him must also teach the other.  In this way GOD receives all the glory not men.  The scriptures speak of people devoid of the spirit as natural, do not understand the things of the spirit, ruled by a fleshly carnal mind, spirituality blind and deaf, alienated from GOD.  I have not provided to you the scriptures to prove what I am saying because I want you to do that.  If you do and you come to understand then it is GOD that will give you the understanding.  Even the idea that the Holy Spirit is distributed to all people but in a weaker degree is not true.  A person must be given the gift of the spirit to be converted, to be a Christian.  I have studied scripture for over 40 years and have never seen any evidence to support this idea of all humanity having the Holy Spirit.  John 4:24  GOD wants people to worship HIM in spirit and in truth.  Only the people that have HIS spirit can do this.

I thank you brothers for your interest in the comments and opinions I've made here with you. This forum has been like visiting someone's home for a Bible discussion without feeling or expecting rejection for unwelcome questions or ideas.

The commitment and passion shown by those hosting the Christian faith for this long has, and still is, very much appreciated. It has helped me immensely to negotiate the long, lonely arduous road away from belief systems that seek to manipulate peoples' willingness to let other people tell them how to be "right with God".

Here I have met (all be it digitally on-line) individuals that have demonstrated passion and honesty for "the truth" about what was believed. Peeling back the layers has been difficult and literally brought tears to the eyes. But it has revealed what it means to have a personal relationship with my Father in heaven, and see Jesus as revealing the Father's character and personality, of which we ALL were meant to be "image-bearers". It has let me see that in all denominations there are those who are honestly seeking the True knowledge and understanding about God, our creator and life-giver. And who want 'God to be found true, though every man a liar'. (Rom 3:4; Ps 51:4)

We may be few in number, in each generation, but we are still here!

PROPER CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR

 The scripture says that if you want to have friends you must show yourself to be friendly.  Proverbs 18:24   The latter part of this verse says, there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, a friendship that is not based on the ordinary.  Jonathan and David had such a friendship.  1 Samuel 18:1,2,3  this relationship between these two men was spiritual.  Blood is thicker than water but spirit is thicker than blood.  This was the kind of love that Jesus spoke about.  John 13:34,35  This is agape, GODLY love that transcends human love.  This GODLY love in a true Christian is how Jesus said everyone would know we are his disciples.  1 Corinthians 13:1-13 describes this GODLY love and Romans 5:5 confirms the source of this love.  The FATHER created HIS son with this GODLY love,  John 15:9 , the same love of the FATHER is how Jesus loved us. 

If we claim to be a Christian but this love is not seen in us then we are liars.  No true Christian has yet acquired perfect love, the love of GOD, because we are yet capable of sin.  When we fall short of this glory of GOD we sin.  If we do not love GOD and our neighbor we sin.  Whatever is not of GODS love is sin.  When we fall short of GODS love we need forgiveness, we have broken the two great commandments Jesus taught us.  This love should be  active among true Christians.  We need to examine ourselves and compare ourselves to how that love is described in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and the living demonstration of that love by Jesus.  In our prayers to the FATHER we should ask for more of this love to be in us. The FATHER is well aware that we are weak, HIS spirit was sown in weakness of the flesh but will be raised in power of spirit.  1 Corinthians 15:42,43,44,46   As long as we are yet flesh we will sin and anyone who says they have no sin,  1 John 1:10  but if we do sin, 1 John 2:1   We do not fully achieve perfection until we take on the nature of GOD in the resurrection, a nature displayed to us by Christ, and just as Christ was an image of GOD so will we be.  1 John 3:2  2 Corinthians 3:18  Colossians 3:10   Philippians 3:21  Ephesians 4:23,24   Jesus was the first human being to experience glorification and birth into the kingdom of GOD.  Jesus was the first born of many, the many will be the church, the saints.  GOD ALMIGHTY created an image of HIMSELF, HIS son the Christ, and We are being recreated in the image of Christ who was the image of GOD.   

This GODLY love, in its fullness, is incapable of sin and this is why Jesus was incapable of sin.  All the fullness of this GODLY love dwelt in Jesus.  Colossians 1:19  In this GODLY love the FATHER and Jesus were equal and this love produces righteousness and holiness.  This GODLY love is how Jesus fulfilled the law.  Romans 13:10  GODS love is what is required to fulfill the intent of the law rather than the works of the law written in the book of the law of Moses.  GODS love works in us, we become GODS workmanship and we rest from those works in the law, we take a lifetime Sabbath.  The works of GODS love should be seen in us otherwise our faith is dead because of no works love.  James 2:26   1 John 3:17,18  GODS love in us is our works. We must not quench or grieve the FATHERS Spirit of love but submit ourselves to it.  1 Thessalonians 5:19  Ephesians 4:30    Sin however easily snare us,  Hebrews 12:1 “which does so easily beset us” as our flesh is engaged in conflict with the spirit and we do not always do the things you want.  Galatians 5:17   It is the lack of application of GODS love that leads to sin.  The message of the gospel gives us hope that repentance, grace and forgiveness are available to us in time of need.  Hebrews 4:16   

In our interaction with all people we must submit to GODS love as this is proper Christian behavior.

ABRAHAMS TWO LINES OF DESCENDANTS - PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL

 In the Old Testament there were two very different people that came from Abraham;  carnal Israel under the law and the spiritual line of Abrahams descendants that had the promises.  The promise of the Christian inheritance was not in the law.  Galatians 3:18   Romans 4:13,14,16   Carnal Israel did not have what it was seeking for, the promises, because the law didn’t contain them.  Romans 11:7   Certain Israelites like Moses, Joshua, David and the prophets as part of the elect saints did obtain the promises and they all looked forward to Jesus to confirm these promises.  Romans 15:8   The idea that these people were not in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit , that the spirit was only transient , only with them on certain occasions, is a man made idea because scripture says nothing like this.  There were people in-dwelt by the spirit that had moments when the spirit increased in power like Samson, Samson was not super strong all the time but when that strength was needed the spirit brought it upon him.  Samson prayed to GOD and GOD heard and answered him, GOD does not do this with people that don’t have HIS spirit.  Judges 16:28  Proverbs 15:29   Psalm 34:15,16  1 Peter 4:12   In Acts 13:9  Paul, who was already in-dwelt, was filled with the Holy Spirit.  Acts 4:8  Peter, who was already in-dwelt by the spirit was filled with the Holy Spirit.  Acts 7:55  We have the exact same thing with Stephen.  Again the idea of a transient Holy Spirit spirit is hog wash invented by unconverted men in todays false churches sadly in an attempt to demote and insult Christians that lived before Christ.  Remember, the foundation of the Church of the living GOD is the prophets and Apostles with Jesus the cornerstone.  All the building is joined together,  Ephesians 2:21 , to be a holy temple in YAHWEH.  Along with the gentiles Paul was writing to all this holy temple is a dwelling place for YAHWEH in HIS spirit.  There you have it in very plain words.  Only the children of Abraham that were of the promises are the heirs of the promises.  Galatians 3:29   Galatians 3:7   Romans 9:8   Here are the two different people that came from Abraham; those of physical descent and those who are YAHWEHS children, the saints, the church.  It is important to know this in order to keep your understanding correct.  You cannot mix the physical descendants with the spiritual descendants or you can’t mix the church with the world.  

These are deep things, but we can know them.

I've always been in awe of the early saints before us. In my mind, they didn't have access to the scriptures as of today. They looked forward to a messiah but I don't know if they had much more than that. We look forward to the return but we have "stories" that we can read & process. Adventures such as being on a boat, a wedding feast, multitudes of people gathering , people with diseases or even dead..stories that testify that the messiah was a living, breathing human being. The early saints just knew a messiah was in the future. Did they know he would turn water into wine? I don't know. But I feel blessed to have faith like they did but with the added "stories". I commend them in what I think of as 'raw' faith.

 Bible said Abraham was called by god and Abraham answered the call and was chosen just like any Christian is. I agree with you totally. You covered it all. Nothing more that I can think to add.

 Everyone in the first resurrection is a Christian, is in the church; Abraham and David are both in the first resurrection.

 Interesting read, especially the clarification of numbers pertaining to whether it is a statement, illustration, or prophecy. I think today, too many people are wrapped up in numbers, or trying to decode a verse using some kind of weird man-made formula. As stated,, it takes the Holy Spirit to understand the meaning of a verse. Only Yahweh can enlighten us to the use or meaning of a number.

ONLY THE FEW

There are 2.4 billion Christians in the world.  98% of this 2.4 billion identify as Trinitarians, thats 2,352,000,000 or 2 billion 352 million people are Trinitarians. 

In the dictionary the word “few” is defined as a small number, used to emphasize how small a number of people or things is. The Greek word for “few” is “oligos”  Strongs Concordance article G3641 and it means; little, small, puny, tiny of number or quantity. 

Luke 13:23  "Someone asked Jesus, Lord, are only a few people going to be saved ?  Jesus said to them, make every effort to enter through the narrow door because many I tell you will try to enter and will not be able."

Isaiah 54:1 "Sing barren woman, you who never bore a child, burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than that of the married wife."   (compares the harlot of Babylon to the bride of Christ and verifies many are called but few are chosen)

Matthew 7:14  "Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it."

Matthew 22:14  "For many are called but few are chosen."

Matthew 19:24  "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of GOD."

Luke 12:32  "Fear not little flock for your FATHERS good pleasure is to give you the kingdom."

The above scriptures prove that the number of people who will receive salvation in this current age will be extremely few.   2.352 billion Trinitarians is not a few, not a small number, yet they think they are “saved” and in possession of the mystery of the trinity.  When Christ returns he will tell the trinitarians, “I never knew you” , because they never knew him.  They think Jesus is the second member of a triune god when Jesus is the messiah, the son of GOD, not GOD the Son.  Trinitarians worship an idol created by carnal pagans in Rome and refuse to hear spiritual logic and reasoning.  People of this type of mindset will never be given the Holy Spirit in this current evil age unless GOD determines they are ready to accept repentance.  

Just do the math and ask yourself, is 2.352 billion few ?  There are 8.1 billion people on earth today, 29% of them are Trinitarians, close to a third of the planets population.    Trinitarians are experts at finding some way to wiggle out of and around the truth but numbers don’t lie.  Just the fact that there are so many Trinitarians is proof they are not GODS people. 

Another proof is, Luke 16:15  "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of people but GOD knows your hearts because that which is highly esteemed among the people is an abomination in the sight of GOD."

Trinitarians highly esteem the idea of the trinity.  They judge others that do not believe the trinity as not Christians.  This judgment is false as proven by the numbers.  In reality it is the trinitarians who are not Christians as they worship an idol, a false god, developed by pagans in the primitive Catholic Church.  Look at how great a multitude of trinitarians are in the world when the true Christians are very few in number.  The majority of the people have always been wrong about the things of GOD.  It has always been the few that know the truth.  

THE FALL OF THE FIRST CENTURY CHURCH

 It seems that there are churches nearly on each block in the cities, and one cannot take a walk around their neighborhoods without passing a sign that announces yet another “bible believing” church. Yet, does your city or community appear to be full of caring and loving Christians?

Now, it is valid to note that one can find church pantry groups handing out food for free each month to people who “qualify” for it. Of course, since most of them get their food at a discount from a government supply, there are requirements as to how and to whom the food is distributed as well as what one may or may not say or do while handing out food.

But, the point of this article is not whether Christianity can serve as a light on the hill demonstrating the love of God around our country. I dare say that we have changed a lot since 197 A.D. when Tertullian wrote of the Christian church - the days when it was noted how Christians showed their love to others. (It is well worth reading.)

Everyone with whom I am familiar will declare knowledge that Yahweh, our Father, does not change. Yet, it appears that those within the New Covenant have. There is a difference that is apparent to those who note the individual and group behavior of those who claim to be Christians. To be brutally honest, the decline of Christian behavior did not start recently. One can study the actions of churches over the last 1800 years and be wondering “what happened?”

I would like to share my view of the straw that broke the Christian back. I know that it was never a surprise to our Father, but for the person calling His Son “Lord, Lord,” it may be difficult to see without the reflections of God’s spirit within him. As much as it may be difficult to appreciate my perspective on this topic, I hastily state that there are genuine followers of Yeshua in this world today – but they are very few.

Give in random order, I’d like to present my points of thought about the cause of this decline that so badly tarnish the church that Jesus initiated.

Man took over the church.

Scripture ends with Jesus giving purpose to His 11 disciples. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations – and baptize them. I’ll state here that there is a controversy with the name by which the baptisms took place. Matthew 28:19 is the only place where it was other than in Jesus’ name. If it had been in the name of the Trinity, the disciples missed it. One, if interested read the Catholic encyclopedia and see what a massacre of scripture took place under the leaders of the Catholic church.

Scripture did not name a replacement for those disciples (Apostles) except for Paul – who was personally chosen by Yeshua. The churches formed under the evangelism of the Apostles had church leaders and there is no record that these leaders appointed anyone else.

When man took over, he also edited the scriptures during translations to fit their church doctrines.

These amendments were instituted in secret, and since the population was largely illiterate, and the price of a copy of the translations was so high (and prohibited for a long time), the people simply took the words of their preachers as truth.

It does not take long in reading the history of the Catholic church to see the destruction of the church that arose in the first century and have it decline into something unrecognizable to the first century Christian.

However, there came a day when people found a way to provide copies of translation more to the public – though still expensive until the printing press came about. It is important to note that people were killed for doing this.

A simple search for names like John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, and a priest named Thomas Hitton will tell the story.

I think the heaviest straw in breaking the back of the early church took place when it became polytheistic.

The church placed another God up with Yahweh. At first, it was only His Son who became a god, but sixty years later, they added the Spirit of God as another god to deal with.

One must wonder how that came about. After all, from the time of the apostles when there was only One True God (and there still is only one), the church people were recognized for their behavior and love for one another. After the influence of Rome in the fourth century, there were threats, torture and murder to enforce the doctrines of the churches. It was no longer about our Creator and His love. It was about the power and control of denominational leaders.

It may surprise you to know that John Calvin of Tulip fame had Michael Servetus burned at the stake for refusal to believe in the Trinity.

Finally, as personal experience has shown me, the ineffective efforts of “the Church” is because the truth is forced to take a back seat in scriptural studies.

Note that we live now in a time when scripture, history, and cultural studies regarding the Hebrew people are readily available to anyone who is interested. Access to interlinear bibles, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek dictionaries cost nothing to consult. Yet, the churches do not want scripture to be studied in open forums. Despite people losing their lives in order to provide scripture to each of us, we refuse to actually study it.

Each denomination presents their Statement of Faith in their online presence. This should be taken as an announcement of just how much they are against scriptural studies. When one must accept those statements as truth for acceptable membership and service in the church, a red flag should be flown over the church.

The New Testament words of the Apostle Paul declares to the church in Corinth:

1 Co 12:28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

These gifts are given in order to serve, but the words given by the servants come from God – and not man.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught of God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

1 Jn 2:26–27 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

The problem would seem to not exist since we expect to be taught by God. But, if anyone leading a scripture study shows controversial evidence in scripture, that person is silenced. Now, why would that be?

In small group scriptural studies, all of scripture is open for discussion. The members have their own views of the content and each person's view is discussed. In a true study, the resulting beliefs comes not from any man – it comes from God when his spirit gives validation. Ideas and views are not true belief.

If churches today believed that truth comes from God, there would be no censorship of scripture. The reason people are censored is that churches do not believe what God said - that He would teach us.

Summary​

The reason that churches today don’t resemble first and second century churches is because they do not exist.

If anyone is truly a follower of Christ Jesus (Yeshua), it is because God has called him and teaches him.

I cannot say who is called and who is taught other than for myself. There are many deceivers in this world – they are all around us. I wrote this to cause thoughts and self-reflection. There is a reason to consider where each of us is at in our relationship with Yahweh and His Son.
