Hello, my name is Coni. I want to share with you two of my revelations that GOD gave to me. All my life I believed in the traditional teachings by the churches that good people went to heaven when they died but bad people went to hell. In heaven the good people met with others who died before them and they could interact with Jesus and the Apostles. The bad people in hell were tortured in anguish forever.
I was very worried about not only myself going to hell but my family members too. After receiving the Holy Spirit and then being baptized in the name of Jesus I wanted to know the truth about what happens when we die. I asked my husband about this and he showed me several scriptures, John 3:13 “No one has ascended to heaven except the one who came from heaven the son of man.”
Ecclesiastes 9:5 “For the living know that they will die but the dead know nothing.” I suddenly became aware that when people die they are not conscious and can’t do anything. I learned that humans are mortal and don’t have immortal souls. In Genesis 2:7 “GOD formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.”
So, humans are a soul, not immortal but living until we die. Then I saw In Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit will return to GOD who gave it.” I realized that the human spirit does go to heaven with GOD but totally unconscious and unable to do anything and awaits a resurrection from the dead. There was no mention of an immortal soul anywhere, and humans are consistently called mortal throughout the scriptures. I had read these verses many times before but never understood them but in my study about life and death the spirit of GOD gave me the truth. There was much more that was later revealed about this that came to me but this was just the beginning. There are articles on this blog that go into more detail and I encourage you to read them.
The second time GOD opened my understanding involved the trinity.
Again, the church I was in taught this and I just believed it, never questioned it. When our small fellowship began to study this we all needed GODS help to know the truth. I was shown this scripture, 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of every woman is the man and the head of Christ is GOD.”
Then another scripture, John 20:17 “Jesus said, Do not cling to me for I have not yet ascended to the FATHER. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my FATHER and to your FATHER, to my GOD and your GOD.” How could Jesus have a GOD ? Jesus says this multiple times in the book of Revelation and when writing their letters to the churches the Apostles used the phrase, “The GOD and FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Look at the following scriptures:
Ephesians 1:3 & 17 2 Corinthians 11:31 1 Peter 1:3 Romans 15:6 1 Corinthians 8:6 John 17:3
Jesus could not be GOD. Jesus is our messiah but he is not part of a trinity, Jesus is a separate being who was 100% human but filled without measure by his GODS spirit, the Holy Spirit. I never knew any of these things before, the thoughts in my mind were showing me these things. This was GOD teaching me, this was GOD in my thoughts, divine revelation.
These are only two examples that I experienced in my life, I have since had many more.
I was blessed to have fellowship with others of GODS elect saints that were taught these things in the same way I was taught. In the sharing of GODS truth among brothers and sisters in Christ iron sharpens iron.
All the truth we know came to us from GOD through Jesus Christ and none of us can boast over another.
This article was about my beginning in the true faith, but only the beginning, there is so much more to learn from GOD. I encourage all who read this to give up on men, human ministry, and go to GOD, it is the only way to the truth.
Hello Coni. Your experience highlights a common yearning I now see many people realising in themselves, a yearning for that relationship to our God as real children in his arms. It is still his plan that humans everywhere come to understand that this planet is still the home for all of us to share and be nurtured in, as brothers and sisters, a family feeling for us to co-operate with and co-labour with in caring for each other in it. Our Father is not distant or judgmental, so that others feel they 'need' to be in between explaining God to us. If our Father is the one who clothes the flowers, feeds the birds, welcomes home the prodigals, surely then, we can understand him best, not through fear, but in love that shows up in mercy, justice and caring for the least among us. We all bear the Father's image, and Jesus came to show us how to be fully human in this image, didn't he? That means choosing compassion over contempt, mercy over retaliation, and dignity over shame. People are "saved", not by believing the right things only, but by walking with our Father in the way of love for each other. So, thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words Gary. It's my understanding that all people will in three seperate stages be given the same opportunity that we in this age have been given now. God is not willing that any should perish but come to repentance. The kingdom of God is like leaven that a woman hid in three measures of meal until the whole is leavened.

Hooray! I found out why I could not comment. My fault. I read your post Coni and recognized the steps you went through to reach your position with our Father. My pathway differed some, but we are all one with Him now, and that is a great place to be. Also, Gary's reply resounds in me, as I recognize how well it fits my life now. I really enjoy sharing with all of you.
