In Ezekiel 37 is the account of the valley of dry bones. This is describing the second resurrection and singles out the nation of Israel. Ezekiel 37:24 says King David, who was resurrected from the dead at the return of Jesus 1,000 years before, is their king. Verse 25 says this will be FOREVER. This happens before the Gog Magog event in the next two chapters. Notice the verses that describe a fleshly mortal resurrection which is what the second resurrection is. Notice that the people are living peacefully in unwalled cities. Consider that after the millennium Satan is set free to go out and deceive the Gog/Magog people to attack these people living in peace.
The events in Ezekiel 38-39 are the same events described in Revelation 20:7-9 The Bible scholars who say there are two separate Gog Magog events are wrong, there is only one.
Ezekiel 38:8 the latter years, after a long time, a land recovered from war, from the great tribulation. They were brought out from the nations. The gathering of Israel from their scattering among the nations has not yet occurred. 1948 was not the fulfillment of GODS promise to Abraham, Ezekiel 37 is. If it were then Israel today would have GODS Holy Spirit as it says in Ezekiel 37:14, but we know that Israel today is antichrist and an enemy of the gospel. Carnal Israel is not in the first resurrection, it is only the church. It is the harlot city Jerusalem along with ten kings that is led by the man of sin that happens during the great tribulation. At this time Jerusalem is again destroyed, is burned with fire. In both Ezekiel 38 & 39 and Revelation 20:7-9 GOD prevents the destruction of Jerusalem so this means the tribulation events are unrelated to the events in Ezekiel and Revelation. When comparing the description of the events given there is no way the Gog and Magog event will happen during the great tribulation.
Conclusion: The events in Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20:7-9 are the same event that happens after the second resurrection described in Ezekiel 37 and Revelation 20:5-13. In both of these accounts Jerusalem is saved from destruction but in the great tribulation the harlot Jerusalem is destroyed, Revelation 18:8 Revelation 17:16 Other articles on this blog prove that Jerusalem is the harlot of Babylon.
