In 2 Thessalonians 2:11 it says, “And for this cause GOD shall send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie.” What is that lie people believe ? It is that the man of sin is GOD. The beginning of this chapter focuses on “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” and a deception by the man of sin who, “sits in the temple of GOD showing himself that he is GOD.”
This event is also called “The abomination of Desolation.” Therefore, the people believe this lie and follow the antichrist. Revelation 13:3,4,8 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11
This day of the lie is being held back until a specific time and for a specific purpose determined by GOD. This is what 2 Thessalonians 2:6 says, “And now you know what is holding the man of sin event back, so that he may be revealed in his time.” Verses 7 and 8 GOD is holding back the man of sin event until the man of sin is taken out of the way, verse 8, the man of sin will be revealed for who he is and will be taken out of the way by the return of Jesus Christ.
Verses 13-17 assures GODS saints who were chosen from the beginning to be saved by the seal of the Holy Spirit, faith and truth.
The saints are to stand firm in the things the spirit has taught us. We were called by the gospel to share in the glory of Christ. GOD has given us grace, comfort and hope encourages our spirits and strengthens us in good words and deeds.
This is the explanation of this section of scripture that GOD has taught me about.
Thank you for this. It is a wonder in my mind that Yahweh has had a plan for the end of this sinful world we live in. There was a time when I was foolish enough to think that people want truth in their scripture studies only to find that those who disagreed with the local church doctrines would be silenced by those who claim to be ministers of God's word.

Those strong delusions have been applied for a long time now, and the one that will bring the end is yet coming. I am one who expects the arrival of Yahweh's final plan soon - as many before he did as well in their day. I'm ready for it now.
