SUBMITTING VERSES PARTICIPATING

 Submit = Strongs G5293 it means; to arrange under, to subordinate, to put in subjection.  It is a voluntary action to place yourself under a higher authority for the purpose of obeying or yielding 

Participate = Strongs G3348 or G2841 it means to share or take part in something or to have a share of or fellowship with, respectively. 

There is a huge difference between submitting and participating, I hope you see that.

Submitting to human governments does not imply participation in them.  GOD ALMIGHTY gave Satan authority over the Earth. It is Satan who sets up the rulers and has demons over each of them to influence them to do Satans will.  Luke 4:5,6  did you catch that, all the kingdoms of the world, are Satans and no one but GOD could have given them to him.  It is GODS will that we Christians submit to Satans governments , obey their laws, pay their taxes but under no circumstances participate in them.  The reason being that we not only avoid punishment but for , 1 Timothy 2:1,2  and Peter agrees,  1 Peter 2:13,14  see also Titus 3:1  Matthew 22:21  Jesus did not involve himself in Earthly politics, he came to preach the gospel and give his life.  When the people wanted to take Jesus by force and make him king Jesus withdrew himself.  John 6:15. In both Satans offer and the people wanting Jesus to king,  Jesus turned them both down.  Does that sound like Jesus wanted to be involved in politics ?  We must remember this, John 18:36   We true Christians obey Satans governments because GOD made Satan god of this world.  It is similar to King David still respecting Saul as King when Saul was evil and wanted to kill David.  As long as Saul was alive he was King of Israel and David respected that because GOD had not yet removed Saul. We true Christians live in a world where GOD appointed Satan as god and we respect his governments and obey his laws, pay his taxes but are waiting like David did for GOD to remove Satan and replace him with Jesus Christ.  I hope you can understand this.  There are many biblical principles that must be put together properly, rightly divided, and consideration for every word of GOD in any spiritual matter.  No one should read Romans 13 and say let’s go vote, let’s take part in Satans darkness thinking they are citizens of the nation they live in when the are to be citizens of the kingdom of GOD.   When you received the Holy Spirit you gave up all your “rights” of your former life and became GODS property, GOD owns you, HE purchased you with the blood of HIS son.  The saints are to die with Christ from this world and become living sacrifices and like Jesus live our lives for the kingdom of GOD.  This is a total commitment.   If you consider yourself a citizen of the nation in which you currently live and actively participate in their government then listen to what Paul said, 2 Corinthians 6:14   1 Corinthians 10:21 Ephesians 5:6,7,8,9,10,11  John said this,  1 John 1:5,6,7  1 John 2:15,16,17   I have heard people say that they show love to their family and friends by voting as it is a way of placing a better politician in office over a poorer one.  GOD says, 1 Peter 5:7   Matthew 6:25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35   Philippians 4:6,7   Psalm 55:22 Hebrews 13:5,6   2 Corinthians 1:3,4   People who think voting is OK do not love their family or Friends because they place faith in human government over faith in GOD.  They will deny they are doing this but are lying to themselves.  Jesus said, “without me you can do nothing”.  Jesus is your access to the only one who can help you, your family and friends.  Ask yourself, why do I vote ?  Shakespeare, in Hamlet, wrote, “to thine own self be true”, this means don’t lie to yourself.  There is no excuse for you to take part in Satans government but if you come up with one then your lying to yourself.  You can’t pray to GOD to install righteous political leaders because GOD doesn’t install them, Satan does.  Then there is,”there is none righteous, no not one” .  Being in this world is a test for the saints to prove them worthy of the kingdom of GOD.  2 Thessalonians 1:5,6,7,8   You are to suffer as Christ did, take up your cross as Christ did but then you say, “I must go vote in Satans government to show love to my family and friends”.

Suffering under Satanic human governments is what we do and our reward is based upon our enduring it to the end, not taking part in it.  Acts 14:22  2 Timothy 3:12   John 16:33   Romans 8:17   By your own admission you desire to avoid suffering with Christ , you don’t want to really carry a cross, you want to have your say in a Satanic system thinking your doing it out of love when in reality you love your family and friends more than you love Christ.  This is misplaced love, misplaced faith and a lack,of understanding of the hope of your calling.  Your mind is not thinking right, Philippians 4:8   Romans 12:2   Colossians 3:2  You are to think like Jesus Christ, let his mind be in you, is it in you ?
