A FATHER AND HIS SON

 There was a man who had a son who kept company with others of his own age that were of very questionable character.  One day while with these friends and unknown to him they robbed and killed a man and all of them were apprehended by the police and charged with murder and robbery.  The father believed his sons claim of innocence in the crime and at great cost hired the best defense attorney he could find, even getting a second mortgage on his house to pay the attorney.  The trial came and the attorney was able to convince the jury of the young man’s innocence and the father and son rejoiced together.  The day after the trial the father found out that his son was still keeping company with people of the same crowd as before.  What do you think about this ? 

 A man who is guilty of many things is led to Christ by GOD and is forgiven for all the sins he previously committed when he was in the world. The man was now not of the world anymore , he is now a citizen of the kingdom of GOD because he was taken out of all that darkness and brought into the light.  The man was no longer a citizen of Satans world or of all the nations that had their governments set up by Satan.  The man was purchased by GOD now and was GODS property.  Then as GOD watched the man , the man went back into the darkness, back to Satans government to cast his vote for one of Satans candidates.   What do you think GOD would think about that ?  GOD knew the man would have trials in his life but expected the man to come to him and cast all these cares upon GOD and in faith rely on GOD and not governments of men. The man didn’t see it that way and justified his actions by saying it would not show love to his family if he did not vote.  After all that GOD did for this man and called the man a son of GOD, a Citizen of GODS kingdom, forgave all his sins, sacrificed HIS own son , gave the man HIS Holy Spirit , brought the man out of this evil world of darkness into HIS marvelous light then the man goes back into  the darkness to participate in Satans government.  

People want to claim all the many blessings that GOD gives but sometimes fail to see what GOD requires of them.  HE says, “come out from among them and be separate and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you” ,  the unclean thing is this world but we through Christ have been cleansed. Once clean we are not to get dirty again.
