There is a debate online about love and justice and sadly most think justice is more important than love. If a person wants justice without love then that is what GOD will give them. Matthew 7:12 Does not scripture give us an understanding that it is GODS love, not HIS justice that saves us?
There are those who attempt to compare GODS justice to unconverted mans human justice administered by human governments but there is no comparison at all. GOD is going to end all human governments and replace them with HIS own government. What all humanity deserves is everlasting death because they all have sinned and under the law to sin is to die an everlasting death. Christ saves us from the second death not the first death because it has been appointed by GOD that we all die simply because we are mortal. Hebrews 9:27 GODS justice is tempered with mercy, compassion, love and the desire that no one perishes but has opportunity to repent. 2 Peter 3:9
There is only one way to die forever in the new covenant and that is by committing the unpardonable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and you must have the Holy Spirit in order to do this. Justice in GODS eyes is very different from what carnal men believe. Justice without GODS love is legalism, it is the covenant of death that GOD gave to Israel, the ministry of death. 2 Corinthians 3:7. Under the Ten Commandments and the Law of Moses everyone dies, no one can fulfill the laws demands because everyone has sinned. GOD gave the law to Israel to show humanity that Adams choice of trees was the wrong choice. The law was to act as a deterrent to sin through fear of death, to define what sin is for the unrighteous man and to be a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. Christ provided a way for us to escape the condemnation of the law to Passover into a new covenant the gives life and not death. What made all of this possible was not justice, for justice demanded we die, it was GODS love. John 3:16 GODS true justice is also tempered with GODS love. HIS true justice is the second death, the lake of fire and is an act of GODS love because the people who commit the unpardonable sin are being tortured spiritually and unlike Satan and his demons can die forever to end their torture. It is something like destroying a rabid animal. GOD will go to the uttermost to save people but HE does have a limit to HIS patience. Hebrews 7:25KJV
Those people that put justice ahead of GODS love are spiritually ignorant and delusional. They really don’t know GOD, Christ or the message of the gospel. I would much rather have the one who judges me do so with love than without love.
The Apostle John said GOD IS LOVE. The Apostle Paul said GODS love fulfills the law and that of all things GODS love is the greatest. Only GODS love makes salvation possible, HIS justice is reserved at the end at a great white throne and a lake of fire into which those are cast who have committed the only sin that will justify their everlasting death. GODS Justice is for those who refuse to love while having GODS Holy Spirit in them. Whatever is not of GODS love is sin.
It seems as though the people who place justice over GODS love see themselves as without sin because they don’t need love but desire justice on all others they see as spiritually inferior. This sort reminds me of legalism and the false churches that promote the idea that Christians must keep the law. They want to see other people receive their idea of justice while they escape due to their self righteousness. They are just like the unconverted Saul of Tarsus and have yet to meet Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:33 does not say, “seek you first the kingdom of GOD and HIS justice” it says HIS righteousness. John 3:16 does not say, “for GOD so much wanted justice for the world that HE gave HIS only begotten son” but that GOD loved the world. John 3:17 does not say, “for GOD did send HIS son into the world to bring HIS justice to condemn the world, to convict the world with HIS Justice” A human mind that thinks this way is not of GOD. To place justice above love is Satanic. GOD does want justice but it is tempered with HIS love. The worlds idea of justice is perverted with Satanic lies. The carnal world is to this day under the law, the Ten Commandments and law of Moses, Romans 3:19,20 The church is not under these laws but under GODS grace which is HIS love for us and by HIS Holy Spirit gives us HIS own GODLY love so that we by it can fulfill the intent of the law. What the law could not do GOD did through Jesus. Romans 8:3 To desire justice over love is spiritual ignorance as the scriptures confirm.
