What is a mediator ? A mediator is a neutral third party who helps two or more disputing sides talk to each other and reach a voluntary mutual agreement.
Now, the scriptures tell us plainly that Jesus Christ is the mediator between GOD and humanity. This truth informs us that Jesus is a third party who helps humans talk to GOD. GOD is not HIS own mediator, therefore Jesus cannot be GOD and yet be a mediator.
There is a spiritual definition of mediator; an intermediary who Bridges’s the gap between GOD and humanity to restore a broken relationship and facilitate communication and salvation. This definition is more accurate and is what Jesus does. Notice it says, “to bridge the gap”, which is in the prophets called standing in the gap.
Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and STAND IN THE GAP before ME on behalf of the land so that I would not destroy it but I found none.”
If Jesus preexisted wouldn’t he be the mediator ? Jesus didn’t preexist, he didn’t exist until GOD formed him in the womb and then GOD was the GOD of Jesus.
Psalm 22:10 “From birth I was cast upon you, YOU have been my GOD FROM MY MOTHERS WOMB.”
Jesus Christ was 100% human and 0% GOD. Jesus came to speak his GODS message, the gospel, to humanity. Everything GOD told Jesus to say Jesus said. John 14:24 John 7:16 John 17:8 This is the correct understanding of John 1:1-14 where in the beginning GOD spoke words that created all things, the word becoming flesh was Jesus who came and was GODS spokesperson to the world.
Hebrews 1:1-2 “GOD speaks to us by HIS son.”
Jesus was not GOD, Jesus was the son of GOD, not GOD the son. Again, a mediator cannot be the same person as the two parties needing the mediation. Jesus said on many occasions that he had a GOD, in the gospels, the letters of the Apostles and the book of Revelation. Look it up for yourselves.
The trinity is polytheism plain and simple. The trinity is full of contradictions and ideas that are contradictory of scriptures. Supporters of the trinity invent explanations that are not in scripture. They say GOD died for us but when I say, hey GOD cannot die, they say only the human part died but the GOD part remained eternal. Well then, they admit that GOD didn’t die for us, a human being did. This trinity lie is very old and was introduced in the 4th century AD by pagans that infiltrated the church and took over the name of Christian and because they didn’t have the Holy Spirit could not understand the scriptures when they spoke about the FATHER, Son and Holy Spirit so they invented the trinity. All the scriptures they use to “prove” the trinity are a result of their carnality, the total lack of the Holy Spirit.
These same people think salvation is a place called heaven when salvation is everlasting life not a place. They teach you that you are already immortal because you have an immortal soul but the souls that sin die. Ezekiel 18:20 & 18:4 in both scriptures it says, “the soul that sins shall die.” How then if a soul can die can it be immortal ?
With Jesus as the mediator the only way to learn from the FATHER, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, is to come to Jesus. No human being has DIRECT CONTACT WITH GOD, we must go through the mediator Jesus Christ. Also, no human being can even come to Jesus unless the FATHER draws them. Therefore giving your heart to the Lord making a choice for Jesus is a load of garbage, will never happen. Then there is the true message of the gospel that all these lies destroy and this true gospel is hidden from the false churches by Satan, who blinds their eyes so they cannot see. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
All the lies in the false churches are from Satan, who uses your church leaders to preach lies to you. The only way out of this situation is to leave churches and go to GOD and ask HIM to teach you as 1 John 2:27 very plainly tells us. This is where Jesus serves as the mediator because anyone who learns from his GOD and FATHER must come to him and NO ONE can even come to Jesus unless the FATHER draws them. To have any hope of understanding these things you must give up on all human ministry and rely only on GOD.
