Anthony Buzzard recently sent me an email containing some strange comments. In it he said angels did procreate with human women, that Jesus was resurrected on Sunday and preached to spirits in prison. I think the reason Anthony believes in these errors is that for most of his life, about 55 of his 90 years, he has made a career of proving Jesus isn’t GOD. Like another person called brother Kel on the Trinity Delusion podcast he hasn’t spent much time on other spiritual things. When he does it shows his lack of understanding in other areas of doctrine. Anthony is associated with Restoration Fellowship, a group he founded in 1981, and since that time nothing new has ever been discovered and all of what he still says is rehashing of a combination of what he learned in the WCG, the Atlanta Bible College and studies at carnal religious institutions. Because Anthony has focused on proving Jesus isn’t GOD he has no spiritual growth in other spiritual things. Anthony hasn’t moved forward and is stuck in the only thing he does understand and has developed an obsession akin to obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) . This behavior has greatly affected his spiritual growth which is seen in his lack of knowledge of other spiritual truths. Anthony has another problem of thinking that if a person doesn’t know Greek and Hebrew their opinions are worthless thus placing more importance upon human reasoning than on the FATHERS spirit for truth in understanding. Being British, Anthony has this “putting on airs” that people miss because many have him on a pedestal in the same way Herbert Armstrong was in the WCG. Anthony doesn’t realize that trying to preach to the world that Jesus isn’t GOD actually violates scripture. Anthony thinks he is a minister in the church and a teacher of ignorant people when in fact Anthony is as ignorant as those he teaches. There is no human ministry in GODS church and hasn’t been since shortly after the death of the Apostle John. Anthony says he is restoring the faith and worship system of the first century church but that church has gone through changes he knows nothing about.
I am aware that my critique of Anthony may to some, especially his followers, to be a personal attack against him but I assure you that it is an honest evaluation based on my personal experiences with him and who scripture defines as the true leader.
If a church is growing in the spirit there will be changes in their understanding of spiritual truth. Revelation from GOD is the teacher of the church not revelation from men. Churches that do not grow spiritually are dead churches like the Sardis church in Revelation 3:1-6 “I know your works that you have a name that you are alive but you are dead.” Dead things do not grow therefore a church that is not being taught directly by GOD is dead. Human leadership in the world’s churches is the problem because every lie and heresy has come from them because they are not of GOD. The great deception in the world is caused by these people who set themselves up as religious leaders when no person is anymore as GOD has taken over completely the affairs of the church. Just knowing that Jesus isn’t GOD is not the gospel, just knowing there is a coming kingdom without knowing the means to enter it is useless. Human reasoning is always wrong in spiritual things because it is carnal and people who are like this lead others in the broad way that leads to destruction. The people who follow Anthony hold him in very high regard and hang on to his every word treating him as though he was a great man of GOD. Just like in the WCG with Armstrong Restoration Fellowship is with Anthony Buzzard. This type of situation places a man in the place of GOD and Christ. In the true church of GOD all are taught by GOD through Christ by divine revelation, all the elect of GOD are prophets and prophetesses. There is no human leadership or teacher and gifts are given by GOD to each saint in accordance to the measure of faith in each saint. All saints fellowship with each other and GOD and Christ being empowered by GODS spirit in all spiritual things. The saints have no works of their own because it is GODS work in them. They have no need of anyone to teach them because they have the anointing of the spirit of GOD. Jesus confirms this truth in John 6:44-45 and John 14:26 John 16:13 therefore anyone who thinks that they are teachers or leaders in GODS church are deceiving themselves and those who follow them. Basically people that submit themselves to Armstrong, Franklin Graham, Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen or Anthony Buzzard make these men their GOD. Romans 6:16 Peter describes these types, 2 Peter 2:19 Unfortunately it has become burned into the minds of the vast majority of people that human ministry is GOD approved and this will be their downfall.
If there was a known public church that was the true church of GOD it would have no human ministry, everyone would know and agree on everything, they would all be taught by GOD through Jesus by divine revelation and empowered by GODS spirit to love GOD and neighbor. This church does exist but is unknown by the carnal world and is extremely few in number and scattered to the four winds. No one decides on their own volition to be a member because GOD alone puts people in HIS church. The churches of this world are nothing like this.
