When GOD inspired the writing of the scriptures it seems as though HE did so in a way that was very vague. Look at how many different interpretations there are that have produced so many different churches believing in different things. I think GOD did this deliberately to hide the truth from everyone except those HE wanted to understand HIS truth. The scriptures contain verses that say this very thing. 2 Timothy 3:6,7 Romans 1:21,22 1 Corinthians 2:14 Ephesians 4:18 Isaiah 44:18 Matthew 13:13,14,15 Isaiah 6:9,10 Mark 4:11,12 Luke 8:10 Acts 28:26,27 Romans 11:8 2 Corinthians 3:14,15 There are many more verses that seem to reenforce the claim that only the called and chosen elect saints of GOD can know and understand the truth of GOD. Even in these plain scriptures the carnal minds of the unconverted will have a different interpretation because it is unfathomable for them to accept the fact that so few people are truly GODS saints. According to scripture the only way for anyone to learn the truth from the FATHER is through Jesus Christ by the power of his GOD and FATHERS Holy Spirit. John 6:45 It is also true that no one can of themselves choose Christ, rather the FATHER chooses and draws a person to Christ. John 6:44,65 1 Corinthians 1:9 2 Thessalonians 2:13 Romans 9:16 Isaiah 54:13 John 6:39
You could describe the Bible as one big parable that requires the FATHERS Holy Spirit through Jesus to understand. Why would GOD do this ? 2 Peter 3:9 I think is the answer. Most people will not repent of their sins but sincere, humble and genuine repentance is required as a first step toward conversion. If GOD would give HIS spirit to a person who has not genuinely repented that person will commit the unpardonable sin and perish forever and GOD is not willing for that to happen so HE will wait until a future time to offer this type of person salvation. Now all that I have written here will not be received by the worlds churches because they do not have the Holy Spirit and GOD has not yet chosen them. They will have an entirely different interpretation of what I have written and it will be false. The veil that covers all nations covers them to actually protect them from themselves and it is GOD who placed this veil on them because HE loves them and doesn’t want them to perish. GOD , at this time, is not trying to save all of humanity but has a plan to offer salvation to all but at different times. These times are; now, in the millennium and second resurrection. Using symbolic imagery Jesus illustrated this truth . Use New King James and read Matthew 13:33 as other translations butcher this verse. In this parable the three measures of meal represents the three different times Salvation is offered and the leaven represents the FATHERS Holy Spirit. To mix three separate measures of meal one batch must be mixed first followed by the second and finally the third, this is then the three times; now, the millennium and second resurrection.
In the here and now GOD selects or elects those people HE knows will genuinely repent and that number is very very few because many may be called but few will be chosen. This changes in the millennium and second resurrection because GOD will in these times pour out HIS spirit on all flesh, all people and everyone will have HIS Holy Spirit, be converted and be teachable. At these future times Jesus and the glorified saints will be their teachers. Isaiah 30:20 Daniel 11:33
This article was written to explain why GOD had the scriptures written in such a vague way by using analogies, symbolism, never giving any times of fulfillment and often having one event foreshadowing another.
