The Great Commission

DRB Matthew 28:18-20
 18.  And Jesus coming up spoke to them, saying, all power has been given me in heaven and upon earth.
 19.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
 20.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have enjoined you. And behold, *I* am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.

Above is the great commission to preach the gospel given by Jesus to his disciples.  Many churches today claim to be fulfilling this commission.  When you look at what they preach it is apparent they all have a different commission, a different gospel.

DRB Matthew 10:23-25
 23.  But when they persecute you in this city, flee to the other; for verily I say to you, Ye shall not have completed the cities of Israel until the Son of man be come.
 24.  The disciple is not above his teacher, nor the bondman above his lord.
 25.  It is sufficient for the disciple that he should become as his teacher, and the bondman as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?

Jesus knew that the great commission would not be fulfilled by the preaching of the gospel by men.  Jesus infers that his true disciples would be treated as he was being falsely accused.

Paul knew that Satan would attack the church and begin a take over and would produce the false churches.

DRB Acts 20:29-31
 29.  For *I* know this, that there will come in amongst you after my departure grievous wolves, not sparing the flock;
 30.  and from among your own selves shall rise up men speaking perverted things to draw away the disciples after them.
 31.  Wherefore watch, remembering that for three years, night and day, I ceased not admonishing each one of you with tears.

DRB 2 Timothy 4:3-4
 3.  For the time shall be when they will not bear sound teaching; but according to their own lusts will heap up to themselves teachers, having an itching ear;
 4.  and they will turn away their ear from the truth, and will have turned aside to fables.

The church was infiltrated by false brethren who brought in false teaching and heresies. This problem has grown into what you see in false Christianity today; over 38,000 churches all with different goepels, all pointing fingers of accusation at one another.  The true people of God are not and do not preach the gospel to the world and are not trying to fulfill the great commission.  This is because God is only now teaching them His truth, restoring truth by the spirit and power of God that had been lost and they are still learning and will not become teachers to the unconverted until Jesus returns.

DRB 2 John 1:7
 7.  For many deceivers have gone out into the world, they who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh -- this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

DRB 3 John 1:9-10
 9.  I wrote something to the assembly; but Diotrephes, who loves to have the first place among them, receives us not.
10.  For this reason, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his works which he does, babbling against us with wicked words; and not content with these, neither does he himself receive the brethren; and those who would he prevents, and casts them out of the assembly.

DRB Jude 1:4
 4.  For certain men have got in unnoticed, they who of old were marked out beforehand to this sentence, ungodly persons, turning the grace of our God into dissoluteness, and denying our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ.

Of old these types of men were known by God and that they would in the future, when the church was newly formed, attack the church as ministers of Satan, and take it over and preach false gospels.
God knew this would happen and prophesied in Ezekiel His reaction to it.

DRB Ezekiel 34:8-11
 8.  As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily because my sheep have been a prey, and my sheep have been meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, and my shepherds searched not for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock,
 9.  -- therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah.
 10.  Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock: that the shepherds may feed themselves no more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.
 11.  For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold I, even I, will both search for my sheep, and tend them.

God says He will stop using men to call or feed His flock because of the wicked acts of the shepherds. God Himself will do all that the Apostles formerly did with all things in His complete control.

The vast majority of people today look at the churches of this world thinking them to be the out growth of the church Jesus started and that these churches are fulfilling the great commission to preach the gospel.  These churches are all false churches and are the result of the take over that happened in the first century by false teachers who at that time infiltrated the true church.

There is no group of people, even those who are part of the true remnant, that have the responsibility to fulfill the great commission today.  Any attempt to organize into a church to copy the first century church is against what God is doing today.  Trying to preach the truth of God to this world is casting pearls to swine on a global scale.

People today have been deceived in many ways for so long a time.  Their minds have been seared with a hot iron and they will not endure sound doctrine.  The huge crowds are always at the false churches.  The true church still exists but is composed of only small groups and is scattered to the four winds with many not aware of each others existence.  These are the people who will be gathered from the four winds when Jesus returns.  God called and chose these people personally without human aid.  God can then use them how He wills to insure the spiritual growth of the group.  God will add those who shall be saved not man.  Acts 2:47

It will be the job of the two witnesses and an angel to preach the true gospel and to fulfill the great commission , Revelation 11:7 ,  Revelation 14:6
and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 This gospel must first be preached as a witness unto all nations and then the end will come.  This is needed because of the Satanic attack that produced all the false churches leading to the world never hearing the true gospel. When the two witnesses preach the true gospel it will be the first time in about 1,900 years.

For about 1,900 years a variety of false gospels have been preached to the world since the true church was overrun by false Apostles and deceitful workers.  Many have crept in unawares, the carnal minded people who fill the false churches.  There are a few groups I have seen on the internet that have much truth but yet from what God has taught me are still lacking in some areas.  I do not know all truth but am still learning as God teaches therefore I can only share with others what I know as spiritual fact.  Groups of scattered saints need to focus on spiritual growth more than being concerned with attempting to fulfill the great commission.  If God wants to draw someone to Jesus it will be God who does the drawing.  You and I can preach till we are blue in the face but only be casting pearls to swine it is God who calls and chooses.  This is not the 1st century but the 21st century and the gospel is not new as it was then and there are thousands more perversions of the gospel.  The saints should only share the gospel with those who they can discern have the hunger and thirst of a sincere heart to learn the truth.  This is how we can tell if God is indeed drawing them to Jesus.  The true gospel is always the same and never changes but times and people do.  The manner in which the gospel was preached in the 1st century is not the same as the false gospels preached today.  A voice that cries out the truth today is drowned out by the multitude of false voices that have already brain washed most people so that they will not hear.

We are in the end times and prophecy tells us what people will be like so we need to be more selective with whom we share truth with.  Do not give what is holy unto dogs.

KJV 1 Timothy 4:1-2
 1.  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
 2.  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

KJV 2 Timothy 3:1-5
 1.  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
 2.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
 3.  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 4.  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
 5.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

KJV 2 Timothy 4:3-4
 3.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
 4.  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

I have made attempts in the past to teach but for the most part ran into the brick wall of ignorance and deception.  It was only with those who really and truly wanted to hear, those God was actually drawing to Jesus, that I had any success.  This was because God had softened the heart, stirred the spirit and was drawing the person to Jesus.  The broad way is indeed broad and the narrow way narrow and few there be that find it.  The saints are the first fruits of a small first harvest. The saints will be the laborers who help reap the second harvest, the millennium and second resurrection.  This will be the time to preach to the world because they will not for the most part accept it now.  Saints of God below is a scripture that describes your future as a teacher in God’s kingdom. You are in a corner now and for now this is Gods will but not for long.

KJV Isaiah 30:20-21
 20.  And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
 21.  And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The Holy Spirit of God will enable a saint who has been seasoned with time and practice to discern if a person sincerely desires to be taught the truth.  We are near to the time of the end of the age and the crisis that will come. The prophets, Apostles and Jesus have all told us that people just will not listen because the deception is so powerful that if possible it would even deceive the elect saints.  God sends strong delusion so they believe the lie.  Should we continue to try to convert this world to the true gospel?  To do so would be going against what God is doing at this time.

I write these words to you because I can see that you have knowledge in the Spirit and I share with you my knowledge in the Spirit. We are to be lights in a world of darkness not sounds, light draws someone to it that can see it but God must open the eyes.  In the darkness of this world a sound can seem to come from anywhere but a light can clearly be discerned.  This light is the love of God by His Spirit working in us and we shine by His will.  If God desires to call and choose a person it will be because the person sees that light and light makes no sound.
