There is a scripture that says, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has it entered into the imaginations of men what GOD has prepared for those who love HIM.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 The totality of all that GOD has planned for HIS saints cannot be known. This fact however is not meaning that we are in total darkness concerning these things. The scriptures do inform us that we will judge angels. Jesus is higher than the angels having a more excellent name and we are to be transformed into the image of Jesus therefore we too will be higher than the angels. Our equality with the angels is only that we will be composed of spirit and be immortal, impeccable and righteous. GOD has made HIS human son, now a life giving spirit, the heir of all things seen and unseen and we the saints are joint heirs with Jesus. GOD did not put the angels in authority of the world to come. Hebrews 2:5
This future kingdom will be ruled by Jesus and the glorified saints not only in the millennium but forever. The kingdom is turned over to the FATHER after all enemies are destroyed but it yet continues and increases. “Of his kingdom there shall be no end” , “the Holy people of the most high GOD shall posses the kingdom forever and ever.” , “the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our GOD and of HIS Christ and HE shall reign forever and ever.”
Many say the earth is going to be destroyed but this is false. The earth will be repaired just as it was long ago after the damage caused by the Satanic rebellion and the curse upon creation removed. The prophet Micah briefly describes how the saints will be Elohim (gods) who rule over humans during the millennium. These people will worship their Elohim but the Elohim will worship YAHWEH, the most high GOD. Micah 4:1-5
There are other scriptures that call the saint’s Elohim. Jesus said, “HE called them gods to whom the word of GOD came” John 10:35 Psalm 82:6 Psalm 82:1 Psalm 138:1
When Moses led Israel out of Egypt he tried to carry out all the responsibility and it became too much for him. His father-in-law Jethro gave Moses good advice in Exodus 18:13-26 . The first century church was also provided with structured leadership from Apostles to Deacons. These things were needed and necessary for large organizations but when the church became scattered all these offices ended and GOD and Christ took over. In the kingdom of GOD Jesus is the chief executive appointed by his GOD and under Jesus are the saints who are given rule over villages, towns, cities, states, a nation, groups of nations and hemispheres. The saints will replace the demons who formerly ruled under Satan and Jesus replaces Satan. The former systems in ancient Israel and the first century church were shadows of how rulership will be in the kingdom of GOD.
So then, while it is impossible to know all the glorious things that await us we can have a glimpse into some of these things through prophecy.
