Believe Scripture Not Preachers
1/03/19

If anyone, even a minister, makes a statement or preaches false things it should be clear that you do not follow them.  If the bible gives a direct and clear message on a subject then you must believe because scripture came from GOD.  If a preacher teaches that you are an immortal soul but the bible says you are mortal then who do you believe.  The words "immortal soul" never appear in the bible but the word "mortal" does many times.  1 Corinthians 15:53 "and this mortal must put on immortality."   Paul calls you mortal and says that you must put immortality on then how can you be immortal if you must somehow acquire immortality.  1 John 2:25 "and this is the promise HE has promised us; everlasting life."  Immortality is a promise from God given to us mortals if we obey the message of the gospel.  Romans 2:7 "To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality; everlasting life."

It is very plain to see that no human being is immortal but we are all mortal.  GOD gave us Jesus and if we believe the gospel HE will make us immortal.  Immortality is something we hope for, seek and put on.  When do we become immortal?  When Jesus returns.  All human beings are a soul, a mortal soul.  Adam and Eve sinned and the tree of life was shut off from them which would have given them immortality.
GOD will not give immortality to sinners but will to sinners who can repent and are converted having the Holy Spirit and the hope and promise from GOD to be made immortal when Jesus returns.

What happens when we die?  The human mortal soul is composed of two things; the dust of the ground which is our flesh and the breath of life from GOD which is our human spirit.  When we die the flesh returns to dust and the human spirit goes back to GOD who gave it.  This human spirit is kept in store by GOD and assigned to one of the two resurrections that happen in the future.  The first resurrection is when Jesus returns and the second is 1,000 years later.  Now this human spirit at death is totally unable to function. It can not  think or act; it is not conscious or aware of anything.  The human spirit will remain in this state until a resurrection.  The idea of modern churches is that people have an immortal soul that lives on after death in heaven or hell.  This idea is totally false and is derived from paganism.  The bible contains the truth about death, church preachers do not.  The false teaching of the immortal soul destroys the message of the gospel because the gospel says we are mortal and can only hope for immortality as a gift from GOD by faith in Jesus Christ.  If you believe you are already immortal then why do you need Jesus?  No one goes to an everlasting life in hell because immortality is not given to unrepentant sinners; it is only given to the saints.  1 John 3:15 "whoever hates his brother is a murderer and you know that no murderer has everlasting life (immortality) abiding in him."

So then, if a murderer has no immortal life then how can he be in hell forever?  This idea gives the reward of the saints to sinners which is not what the gospel teaches.  Your preacher or the bible, which will you believe?  There is everlasting life and everlasting death; the gospel of Christ gives the hope of life but the message of the worldly preachers is death.

If you had someone you love die they are not in hell burning forever; their human spirit is with GOD and is totally unconscious and unaware and is waiting for a resurrection.  All human spirits, saint or sinner go back to GOD at death.  Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then the dust will return to the Earth as it was and the spirit will go back to GOD who gave it."

Billions of people who call themselves Christians have accepted the lie of the immortal soul.  They embrace this lie because of Satan's deception that crept into the doctrine of the early false church in Rome.  This blog exposes this and many other lies of Satan.
