DEATH
Wednesday, November 19, 2014

No matter how you try to lengthen your life you are going to die. You may add a few years by healthy living but in the end death will win.

KJV Hebrews 9:27
27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

KJV Genesis 2:17
17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

KJV Job 10:20-22
20. Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
21. Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
22. A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

KJV Job 14:10
10. But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the Ghost, and where is he?

KJV Psalms 6:5
5. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

KJV Psalms 89:48
48. What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

Death stalks us like a lion stalks his prey and when our time comes he devours us all.

Are you afraid of death?

When fear of death becomes an obsession, to the degree where we cannot enjoy life, is to be out of balance and if your are a Christian, lacking in faith.

You should know that physical death is as temporary as our physical life and that through Jesus all humanity that has not committed the unpardonable sin is guaranteed a resurrection from the dead.

KJV Psalms 48:14
14. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

With God, your fear of death should not be excessive or crippling so as to terrify you and cause you to forget Gods promise. This would be like calling God a liar.

What if I could show you a way to avoid death entirely; to never die, but to be changed from what you are now into another life form. It would happen in an instant, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. Would you be interested?
You would never even lose consciousness and you will shed the flesh and take on the spirit.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
51. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:44
44. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

When Jesus returns, those saints who have died are referred to as being asleep and will be resurrected from the dead but the saints who are alive at this time are instantly changed from flesh to spirit without ever having died.

KJV 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep(The saints who have died), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.(Do not fear or be terrified about death)
14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.(This is our faith to believe God)
15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Here is the proof that there are two groups of saints, those who are alive at the return of Jesus and those who have died.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

If you have experienced Gods spirit working in you, if you desire to obey God and Christ and follow the message of the gospel then you have the hope of being one of those who will never die.

When we examine the world today we see many signs Jesus gave of the end times. Things are happening that have never happened before and we are approaching a worldwide catastrophe of horrific proportions. We are not like the carnal people of this world with no real idea of how close we are to the return of Jesus.

KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5
1. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

The saints of God will know when Jesus is near to his return but the carnal world will be clueless.
Now, this change from flesh to spirit is dependent on our will and desire for it and our obedience to God to receive it. Let no one think they will ever become spirit if they do not have and live in the love of God. The change to spirit has conditions God demands from us and that is to grow in His love that He gives us by His Holy Spirit. Without this love no one will ever be spirit. Without this love we will be nothing.

ASV 1 Corinthians 13:1-8
1. If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
2. And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3. And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
4. Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;
6. rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;
7. beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.

ASV 1 Corinthians 13:13
13. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

ASV 1 John 4:8
8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Paul describes what Gods love is like.

4. Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;
6. rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;
7. beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Love never faileth:

This love is an absolute requirement for anyone to escape death and experience the instantaneous change from flesh to spirit.

So, if you never want to die, you better have and live in Gods love.
God gives us a portion of this love, His love, when we receive His holy spirit. God plants this seed of love in us, the good Earth, so that it will grow and bear fruit to God.

ASV 2 Thessalonians 3:5
5. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

ASV 1 John 2:5-6
5. but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:
6. he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

ASV 1 John 3:16-19
16. Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17. But whoso hath the world's goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him?
18. My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.
19. Hereby shall we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our heart before him:

ASV 1 John 4:9-12
9. Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.
10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12. No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us:

ASV 1 John 4:19
19. We love, because he first loved us.

ASV Jude 1:20-21
20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21. keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto everlasting life.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, the love of God in us and acting through us is the way to life everlasting without ever seeing death. If any of us have issues where we are failing in this love we need to go to God and ask Him for help, God will give help. We need to examine ourselves and be honest with ourselves before God concerning our thoughts, conduct, actions and words; asking ourselves, are these of the love of God.

ASV 2 Corinthians 13:14
14. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Salvation

 Salvation is being in the kingdom of God as an immortal spirit being, unable to sin or be tempted with evil;
repentance, grace, faith and the sacrifice of Jesus is not salvation; these are the things that reconcile us to God and place us on the straight and narrow way that leads to the kingdom, to salvation. Once we are in the kingdom we do not need repentance, grace, faith and the sacrifice of Christ because we will have achieved we will have attained we have salvation.

No one has ever experienced salvation, it is promised to us with conditions. When converted and given the Holy Spirit we have entered into a covenant with God. This covenant has conditions to meet in order to have the promised salvation. When you are in the kingdom this is salvation and then you cannot lose salvation. At this time you do not have salvation and it is possible that you can lose the offer of it if you commit the unpardonable sin. God will withdraw His offer if you do not honor the conditions God requires for you to have salvation. You must love and obey God and Christ when you have the Holy Spirit or you blaspheme that spirit. If one third of the angels sinned against God what about human beings? If Lucifer could convince angels to rebel humans would be far easier. At this present time you are an heir of salvation, if you continue in the requirements God has in the new covenant, but if not God will disinherit you. You do not inherit the kingdom/salvation; when converted you are only an heir. Keep in mind as you read the scripture below that our inheritance is the kingdom which is what salvation is and that we do not have salvation at present but it is promised to us if we obey Gods requirements. Remember that you cannot lose salvation once you have salvation and you do not have it now; you have the opportunity, the hope, the promise and you will be judged by what you do with it.

KJV Matthew 5:5
5. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

KJV Matthew 19:29
29. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

KJV Luke 10:25-28
25. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
 27. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

KJV 1 Corinthians 6:9
9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

KJV Ephesians 1:11-14
11. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

KJV Ephesians 5:5 5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

 KJV Colossians 3:24-25
 24. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

KJV Revelation 21:7 7. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The most important first step in the hope of salvation is for God to give you His Holy Spirit and begin to teach you the truth of spiritual knowledge bringing you out of the worlds lies and set you free. This is what brings you out from under the old covenant law and into the new covenant grace so that you have access to repentance and forgiveness of sins. As you stand in faith and grace God begins to work with your human spirit to conform it into the image of Jesus who God made an exact image of Himself. This image is that of love and righteousness that is incapable of sin and is the ultimate quality the saints must achieve to have salvation which is immortality. You must be made incapable of sin first before you can become immortal.

In this human existence you will always sin because you have only a portion of the Holy Spirit but you can grow in the spirit and overcome sins as you mature bearing fruit unto God. God can see your progress as all of us are an open book to Him and He will know if we grow with the gift of His spirit or not. What God looks for is where our heart is; is it with Him, is our burning desire to obey Him and love Him beyond all else having faith in His son as you have faith in Him. It is this desire and our growth in overcoming sin that pleases God and no matter how much growth is produced, as long as there is growth, when we die God will then seal our human spirit in total righteousness and we will be incapable of sin. Then when the resurrection happens this perfected human spirit will be placed into a glorified spirit body thus we will then be immortal, have salvation, and then we can never lose it. Jesus came into the world with a human spirit that God had already made perfect in righteousness and love so that Jesus was incapable of sin. All Jesus needed was a glorified body to be immortal which he received when he ascended to heaven. Jesus was Gods way of saying to us, “This man, my son, is what I will transform you to be like if you are willing and obedient so that you will be worthy of the salvation, the immortality, I have offered you through him.” God loves and values the life of His son Jesus to the point where He will forgive all manner of sin that is common unto man but God will not dishonor the sacrifice of His son by forgiving those who blaspheme His Gods Holy Spirit. Gods spirit is the spirit of grace and to blaspheme His spirit is to spit in His face and the face of His son, it is going to far and is the only sin God will not forgive.

By Grace Through Faith

How many of you are righteous?

When we repent and God forgives us, God imputes His righteousness to us.

KJV Romans 4:3-8
3. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
6. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7. Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Grace keeps us in a continual state of righteousness by faith.
KJV Romans 5:20
20. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Our spiritual condition is maintained by a constant cleansing of our sins.
KJV 1 John 1:9
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This keeps the spots, blemishes and wrinkles out of our garments.
KJV Ephesians 5:26-27
26. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
We need to be further clothed with the white robe of righteousness that we receive when we enter the kingdom. This will be our own righteousness and not imputed by God. This is the change.
KJV 2 Corinthians 5:1-4
1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Now, because of our faith, God calls us righteous, it is the righteousness of God by faith. At present the righteousness in us is not ours, it is Gods imputed to us.
KJV 2 Corinthians 5:21
21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
It is as if we wear baby clothes now but formal attire when in the kingdom.
KJV Matthew 22:11-14
11. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12. And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14. For many are called, but few are chosen.
We maintain the baby clothes with the gospel message; if we dirty ourselves God will change our diaper.
KJV 1 John 2:1-2
1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
In the kingdom, God will have full grown sons and daughters that cannot dirty themselves anymore. When we are baptized into Jesus, this is our first new diaper, our first cleansing of all past sins but we continue to dirty ourselves to the end of this life; however the frequency of those times we need changed should decrease as we grow talents. This is bearing fruit to God, growing in His spirit. This is how we, the saints, are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.
For a broken spirit is to God a sacrifice and a broken contrite heart God will not despise.
KJV Psalms 51:17
17. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
God knows our heart and that our sins break it as we feel sorrow and disgust over it, we repent, ask forgiveness and God forgives.
KJV 1 John 3:19-21
19. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
All of this is Gods doing, it is His will. Our broken human spirit because of our sins is a living sacrifice to God who knows we have a contrite heart. Contrite means grief and sorrow over doing wrong, Godly sorrow, that leads us to repent. King David committed adultery and murder; Psalm 51 was written to express David’s extreme sorrow over these sins, he repented deeply and we know God forgave him. God will forgive us too.

This is the gospel, this is Gods will. Our part in this is to believe and through our lives of experiencing this love and mercy be made stronger spiritually.
KJV Romans 5:1-2
1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
This grace is always present for us and we should boldly go to God to obtain mercy and forgiveness at any time.
KJV Hebrews 4:16
16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Love and God

Most people today when hearing the word “love” think of sexual intercourse. Love is not sex. Sex is a method of showing, expressing love in a marriage and any other use of sex than this is sin.

KJV Hebrews 13:4
4. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

So then people who think love is sex are of a sinful mind, carnal minded.

KJV Romans 8:5-7
5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

The carnal mind has no understanding of what love is and operates under lust and not love at all. Carnal minds mistake lust for love. God is love and is the only true kind of love that is not selfish or conditional. The word charity in the verses below is the word “love”.

KJV 1 Corinthians 13:1-13
1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

In the Greek language the words for love are; agape, philia and eros. Agape is the love God and Jesus have, philia is human level love for friend and family and eros is love that includes sexual intercourse in a marriage. Both philia and eros love are a shadow of agape. Agape is what we need.

The scripture tells us that God loves the entirety of human kind and in order to provide for them a future that their minds cannot even imagine gave the only righteous human being that ever lived, His son, as our messiah. God wants to change us to be like Jesus. Jesus, when on this Earth, gave us the example of the kind of character and love God wants us to have and this is how Jesus was Gods image and one with God. Godly love was shown to us, demonstrated to us by Jesus.

Love your enemies, pray for your enemies, do good to your enemies and to those who treat you with hatred and persecute you.

If someone were to rape and kill your wife would you be able to respond to that person in the manner Jesus spoke about?

It is just not in our nature to have the mind to respond to these evils with love.

Jesus gave his life for people like this; Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, Barack Obama, You and me. Many people think that since they have not committed the horrible sins of Hitler or Bin Laden they are “good people” but the truth is that all people sin and in the eyes of God sin is death to the sinner. If the prophets say that no one is righteous, no not one, then no one is good either. We are all evil and deserving death for the sins we do. This is where the love of God enters by the man Jesus Christ. Jesus gave his life for us while we were still sinning, still doing things worthy of death.
Our minds are not like the minds of God and Jesus that have a form or type of love that is as far above human love as heaven is above the Earth. In stark contrast our love when compared to God and Jesus does not even exist. This Godly love must be given to us, placed into our human spirit by the Holy Spirit of God. This Godly love is how Jesus fulfilled the law and enabled Jesus to be incapable of sin and shows to us what we must be changed into to be in the kingdom of God.

The saints of God, the elect, the 144,000 have been given a portion, a measure of the Holy Spirit and Godly love to the degree that we only have a beginning in this process of spiritual transformation to become like God and Jesus. This is the spiritual Genesis unlike the physical Genesis of Adam and is the true creation God desires of which Jesus was the first born. While saints we still sin and even though grace will cover the sin it remains that we are yet capable of sin our entire life in the flesh. Scripture says that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God and that all unrighteousness is sin. This means that in the kingdom of God sin nor the potential to sin will not exist at all. So then, how will the saints ever be in this kingdom if they are yet capable of sin all their lives?
The truth is that the saints die as sinners and while they were alive grace did cover their sins but in the kingdom there is no grace because there is no sin. This raises a very important question; How can sinning saints enter a kingdom where sin does not exist? There is an answer to this question and it is one of the many deep things of God.

It is necessary to define spiritual terms to understand.

Grace is the program under the new covenant in Christ whereby the sins of a saint are forgiven because of faith.

Faith is an unseen hope, the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. The saints believe God and Jesus in the message of the gospel.

Salvation is when you are an immortal spirit being incapable of sin in the kingdom of God.

Righteousness is the character quality of being unable to sin and currently God, Jesus and the holy angels are the only beings with this quality.

Impute is to give something to another that is not their own as when God imputes His righteousness to the saints because of the faith and grace mentioned above.

Sin is whatever is not of Gods love. Sin is of the mind, it is thoughts and intents of evil and when the thought is acted upon reveals the sin but if not acted upon hides the sin in the heart of the sinner where it is still sin and worthy of death.

Gospel is the good news God sent Jesus into the world to preach which contains all the elements described above and many more.

Love is God and God is love. All things that are good and wonderful that have no evil at all given freely, by free will, from the one who loves to the one loved.

Godly sorrow is having our minds opened by God to see how short we fall from His love.

Repentance is the desire in us, once we experience Godly sorrow, to desire to be changed by God into the image of Jesus who God created in His own express image and likeness of love.

All these things combined in the saints is a beginning only and not the finish as we are yet like clay in the hands of the potter. If we live our lives to the end holding fast to them we can to a degree overcome some of the nature of the old man we once were and for God to build the new man in us, this is bearing fruit unto God. This process must be of our own free will choice as all of our heart, mind, body and spirit must desire Gods will for us and be in total agreement with God as to what God intends to do to us, the change He must make in us, so that we can be in the kingdom of God.

The way God created Jesus Christ was different from us as Jesus was born directly of God and not through the human reproductive act. Jesus was without measure filled with the Holy Spirit and was incapable of sin because he was the exact character of God in love.
God had to do this because the perfect life of Jesus would be the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. This is why Jesus was the first born. Jesus at birth already had the mind of what we hope to have to be in the kingdom. During his life on Earth Jesus did not have to struggle to not sin because he was the first born with a kingdom mind. God, through Jesus, has proven to us that He can change us if He already created Jesus as our example and it is extremely important to God that this change is what we ourselves desire with all our heart.
Let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus; a mind like God Himself, of true love, incapable of sin. Jesus was created this way but we were not and must be changed. God can see our heart and our struggles with sin and our love for Him and even though we still sin and are weak God shields us with His grace so we can grow spiritually and bear fruit, change even a little, for he who is faithful in little is faithful in much. God can see that we want what He has offered us even though we are weak and have little understanding of it.

KJV Hebrews 4:13
13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

KJV 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God, through Jesus, has provided for us everything we need for now and for the future while we yet remain in a weakened state still sinning.

KJV 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
16. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17. Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

KJV 2 Timothy 1:9-10
9. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10. But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

KJV Romans 8:28
28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

KJV Romans 8:37-39
37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is not a one of us that by our own merit deserves this. This was all done by love.

Every time you and I sin all of these things should flood into our minds as a witness of the great love of God who is willing to forgive and keep us in this hope we have.

While the agape love of God may seem a far away thing from us that seed has been planted in us and while we are not able to see any growth in ourselves God can see all things. We have been commanded by God, Christ and the Apostles to love with a love that we have never had until receiving the Holy Spirit. What this love asks of us may seem impossible, but all things are possible with God.

KJV Romans 12:9-21
9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

When we were carnal the love described above was impossible and even now with Gods spirit we struggle against our old man. Love is the key, the power and the knowledge to produce in us the will of God.

KJV Ephesians 3:16-19
16. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

God is love and that is why He made us and what He is transforming us to become. We are only at the Genesis of this looking for the Revelation.

At that day when the sons of God will be revealed the human spirits of just men will be made perfect weather dead or alive and will be sealed in righteousness and placed into a glorified spirit body, immortal and unable to sin and we will be in the image and likeness of God and Christ.

This is the kingdom of love.

Did Jesus Struggle To Not Sin?

Did Jesus Struggle all His Human Existence to Not Sin?

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

Is the verse below saying that Jesus struggled not to sin?

KJV Hebrews 12:2-4

2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

What it is saying is that Jesus endured the constant attack of sinners against himself and that he had to endure this attack even to his death on the cross.

Jesus gave his life for us so that we may some day enter the kingdom of God, become immortal and be incapable of sin. It is important to remember that sin will not exist in the kingdom of God and that Jesus gave his life to make this possible. Of what value and caliber do you think the life of Jesus would have to be in order to accomplish this? In other articles I have written I speak about the character of Jesus as being an exact copy of his God and Father. This means that Jesus, like God, was unable to sin or be tempted with evil. Think, if his life makes it possible for us to be unable to sin in the kingdom then it would have to be of value in Gods eyes to be the payment to make this possible.

Jesus was called the first born of many brethren. What this means is that Jesus, when born into humanity, possessed a kingdom mind, a mind as ours will be in the kingdom, only Jesus was first. Jesus was a human being with the character of God and this is why his life could be the payment for the sins of the world.

Jesus was totally filled with his Fathers Holy Spirit to such a degree that his mind was in complete agreement with God. Jesus had the same love as God has as this is how Jesus fulfilled the law.

In the article, “The Myth of Potential Sin”, I go into detail about how there are only two kinds of beings that exist; those who are sinners and those who cannot sin. This makes potential sin a myth and a lie. Jesus then had to be one of these two kinds and since Jesus was directly conceived by the Holy Spirit of God and totally filled with that spirit he was incapable of sin and could not be tempted with evil.

Jesus many times was angered and frustrated with the people around him, even his own disciples.

KJV Matthew 17:17

17. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

KJV Mark 9:19

19. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

KJV Luke 9:41

41. And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.

KJV Matthew 15:16

16. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

KJV Mark 4:13

13. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

KJV Mark 7:18

18. And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

KJV Luke 11:40

40. Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

KJV John 3:10

10. Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

What do you suppose a righteous man like Jesus had to put up with from all the sinners around him? Scripture speaks of Lot, who was far less than Jesus, and his ordeal with sinners; how much more the Christ.

KJV 2 Peter 2:7-8

7. And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Jesus told us that we had to be perfect like God but was he? This perfect condition is to be made unable to sin in order to be in the kingdom; who made Jesus unable to sin, he was born that way. Jesus ascended to heaven to the right hand of God where sin cannot exist; so then he had to be unable to sin or he could not have entered.

Jesus never struggled not to sin but was under constant attack by sinners. Another article that explains how God created the soul of Jesus, “Did Jesus have a Nature Just Like All Men?” is recommended reading.

The man Jesus was a far better man than anyone else who has ever or will ever live and he had to be in order to be the messiah.
