Shadows
By
Lee

KJV Ephesians 5:31-32
 31.  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
 32.  This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

What is the great mystery Paul spoke of in verse 32 above?

KJV 1 Corinthians 6:16-17
 16.  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
 17.  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Paul is telling us that Earthly marriage is a type or shadow of the marriage of the saints to Jesus.

KJV 1 Corinthians 7:14
 14.  For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

The children of saints are holy even if only one of the parents is a saint.  With this information I will attempt to tell you the mystery of how a human marriage is a shadow of the relationship the saints have in Christ.

When parents conceive a child it is the Father who plants the seed, the woman has no seed but does have the egg.  During her monthly cycle the mother produces an egg that if not fertilized by the father will pass from her and be forever lost.  This symbolizes everlasting death, that if a human being is not fertilized by the Holy Spirit it will pass away and be forever lost.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:37
 37.  And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

A human child can be still born as well, having had life but losing it, this is the unpardonable sin in the shadow.  If the seed falls on good ground it will bear fruit, a child and the parents rejoice.  The seed planted will produce a body that does not look at all like the zygote when sperm and egg met.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:37
 37.  And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

Jesus was the promised seed in Genesis 3:15.  The word seed, in “seed of the woman” should be translated fruit of the woman because the seed is by the Father not the mother but the mother, the church, bears the fruit.  The church must bear fruit unto God, the overcoming of sin.
The seed is Gods Spirit joined to our human spirit that is a new creation just as human parents produce a new child.  The saints are spiritual zygotes and are growing in the womb of the church the bride of Jesus Christ.  If we blaspheme the Holy Spirit we will be aborted but if we fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith we will be born into the kingdom of God as an immortal son of God.  Human parents hope to produce a child that is physically sound with all the proper parts and a normal mind.  God is transforming, shaping the saints so that just as we are near to being born, shortly before the tribulation we are perfect, sealed, at one with God. All that is needed from this point is actual spirit birth.

KJV Isaiah 66:8-9
 8.  Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
 9.  Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

God will bring forth a new nation of beings, His sons of the first resurrection that will come forth, be born at once in one day.  God will not close up the womb but will continue to produce even more children during the millennium and second resurrection. This physical creation is only a shadow of the true creation God desires, the spiritual.  Jesus was the first of this spiritual creation, the first delivered, first born of many.  Jesus was the first holy seed, the promise God made to Abraham and the saints through Jesus become holy seeds by adoption.

KJV Romans 8:14-23
14.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
 15.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
 16.  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
 17.  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
 18.  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
 19.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
 20.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
 21.  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
 22.  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
 23.  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The human reproductive process is a shadow of what God is doing with His saints through Jesus Christ.

KJV Galatians 4:4-6
 4.  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman under the law,
 5.  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
 6.  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

KJV Ephesians 1:5
 5.  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Jesus is the sower who sows the seed of his Fathers Spirit on good ground to bear fruit.  We are the dust of the ground, Mary was the dust of the ground and God planted His seed, Jesus, in her dust and Jesus became a vine of which we , the saints, are the  branches.  The parables of Jesus speak of this shadow in many ways.

KJV Matthew 13:34-35
 34.  All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
 35.  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

This information combined with the understanding that carnal man is a beast and needs transformed is a revelation of spiritual wisdom.

The Symbol of Leaven

By  Lee

The bible contains many symbols the meanings of which are hidden within its own pages.  The focus of this book will be on the symbol of leaven.  There are those who say leaven is always a symbol for sin and evil. To determine the meaning of leaven we must search the scriptures where leaven is mentioned.

Matthew 16:6 then Jesus said to them, "take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."
To understand the use of the word leaven by Jesus we must read through to verse twelve of chapter sixteen.

Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the
leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

In this section of the scriptures leaven clearly symbolizes doctrine or teaching that is false in its origin.  All false doctrine has its origin in a false spirit and this false spirit is Satan.  Leaven was used in the old covenant scripture to symbolize sin.  The Israelites were commanded by the Law of Moses to remove all leaven from their homes and to not eat any leaven during the days of unleavened bread.

Leviticus 23:6- and on the fifteenth day of the same month is a feast of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

Yeast is a leavening agent as it causes the dough to rise into a loaf of bread.  Thus when scripture speaks of leaven it refers to yeast.  From the scriptures given so far yeast or leaven seems to symbolize something evil and of an evil spirit.  We must continue our examination of the word leaven.
In Matthew 13:33 Jesus gives a parable;

Another parable he spoke to them: "the kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."

Here we see leaven being used in connection with the kingdom of God.  This scripture seems to conflict with the previous scriptures that appear to connect leaven with evil and sin.  How can God's kingdom be sin?

Leviticus 23:17, the law again mentions leaven;  "you shall bring from your habitations two wave loaves of two tenths of an ephah.  They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven.  They are the first fruits to the Lord."

Here the law describes two loaves of bread baked with leaven as God's first fruits.  Here again we seem to have a conflict as to the true meaning of the symbol of leaven.  If we closely examine, we see that leaven can symbolize both good and evil.  This means that leaven symbolizes spirit that can be good or evil.  God's Spirit being good and Satan's being evil.  This shows us that people are leavened as bread is leavened with a good or evil spirit.  The spirit of Satan is leaven that produces sin and everlasting death.  The Holy Spirit from God is leaven that produces righteousness and everlasting life.
The apostle Paul uses this symbolism of leaven in first Corinthians 5:6-8.  A problem developed in the Corinthian church that Paul compared to evil leaven.  The sin of one man was infecting the entire church as a little leaven leavens the whole lump.   Paul tells them to purge out this old leaven of malice and wickedness and to fulfill the old covenant shadow meaning of the days of unleavened bread.  Israel could unleaven physically but could not spiritually and neither could they become a new lump leavened with God's Spirit, for the Holy Spirit was not given to ancient Israel.  Paul was telling the Corinthians to repent of the evil spirit that invaded their church and allow the leaven of God's Spirit to lead them into sincerity and truth.
It is my hope that this study of leaven will prove to the reader that leaven is a symbol for spirit and that it can be the Spirit of God or the spirit of Satan.  All people are born with the leaven of Satan and only through faith in Christ can they receive the leaven of the Holy Spirit.   This is only the beginning of the information that can be gotten from leavens meaning.
At the beginning I quoted Matthew 13:33  "the kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till all was leavened."   A little leaven will leaven the whole church.

This parable reveals very important information about the kingdom of God.  The leaven in this verse symbolizes God's Holy Spirit.  The woman is the church of God and the three measures of meal are the three ages of grace that God has and will provide for humanity.  The two wave loaves baked with leaven in Leviticus 23:17 were the first fruits of God.  The first fruits are God's elect who were given the Holy Spirit, the holy leaven.

James 1:18    "of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, That we might be a kind of first fruits of His creation."

The two loaves represent the saints of the old covenant and the saints of the new covenant.  The kingdoms third loaf has yet to be baked with God's Spiritual leaven in order to use up the three measures of meal in Christ's parable.  Those who believe that this is the only day of salvation can not understand the true meaning of the symbol of leaven.  They limit God to one or perhaps two loaves depending on their doctrinal stand.

First Corinthians 15:19- if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
Paul had hope in the resurrections of the just and the unjust.  The advocates of heaven and hell condemn the unjust to an everlasting life of torment without hope.

Acts 24:15- I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.
When a person is leavened with God's Spirit they become a new lump or a new creation.  They are given spiritual understanding and knowledge and they are held accountable to God.  They have been given much and much will be required, but to whom the Spirit has not been given not as much will be required.

Luke 12:47-48  "and that servant who knew his masters will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.  But he, who did not know, yet committed things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few.    For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more."
If you have been given the Holy Spirit then you have been given much; God has leavened you.  Those who have God's Spirit are held to a higher level of accountability than those who do not have God's Spirit and to blaspheme the Spirit brings many stripes.  More will be asked of those who have that Spirit than those who do not.  God's punishment will be greater for those who were given the Spirit, and refuse to repent, than upon those who were not given the Spirit and can not repent.  There is a sin that can be committed that has no forgiveness.

Matthew 12:31-32 "therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.  Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come."
This sin is called the, 'unpardonable sin."  Only those who have been given God's Holy Spirit can commit this sin and will be beaten with many stripes, which means to suffer the lake of fire.  Notice that in the age to come it will be possible for people to commit this sin, and proves that there will be people in the age to come with the Holy Spirit.  Ezekiel 37 describes the second resurrection with respect to ancient Israel.  The second death is the fate for all who commit the unpardonable sin.

Hebrews 6:4-6  "for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to an open shame".
Hebrews 10:26-27 speaks also of this unpardonable sin and of the lake of fire:

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain expectation of judgment and a fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

It is important that we look again at Matthew 12:31 and Matthew 13:33.  Matthew 12:31 tells us that the unpardonable sin will not be forgiven in the age to come when the final loaf of leavened bread is baked from the leavened meal of Matthew 13:33.  The first two loaves, Leviticus 23:17 are the saints of the first two ages.  The first age lasted from creation to the birth of Christ and his gospel. The second age of grace began at the first advent and will last until the door is shut, prior to the start of the great tribulation, as is symbolized in the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13.  The third age of grace will begin after the return of Christ with those during the millennium and second resurrection.  Those who will be leavened at those times are beaten with few stripes and given their first opportunity to receive the Holy Spirit and come to the knowledge of the gospel of salvation.  These are the third measure of meal that was leavened in Matthew 13:33. It is God's will that no one will perish but all come to repentance.  When Christ returns and finds someone who has committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit he will not forgive this sin and will cast such a one into the lake of fire, which is the second death.
With this understanding of leaven, there arises a conflict with those who believe in the doctrine of heaven and hell.  The unsaved of this age are said to be in hell, living forever in torment.  Therefore questions concerning the state of the dead must be addressed.

John 3:16 "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
This well-known verse of scripture says that only those who believe in Jesus will have everlasting life, everyone else will perish.  This is in complete agreement with all of scripture.  Jesus did say that if you refuse to repent, you will likewise perish.  To perish is to cease to exist, to have no life or consciousness.  God did not create humans with everlasting life but rather gives everlasting life as a promised gift to those who believe in his son as Romans 6:23 plainly states.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jesus Christ died to give humanity the gift of everlasting life but the heaven and hell doctrine believes in an immortal soul or everlasting life from creation.  God prevented humanity from the beginning, in Eden, access to the tree of life, so they would not eat of its fruit and live forever.

Genesis 3: 22 & 24 then the Lord God said, "behold the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever…"     He drove out the man; and he placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

God does not give everlasting life to sinners.

First John 3:15 whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.

Everlasting life is given only to the saints of God and is given at the return of Christ and not before.

First John 2:25- this is the promise that he has promised us, everlasting life.
God's promises are sure, as God cannot lie, and if He has promised his saints everlasting life it is a sure promise. The writings of the new covenant reflect this hope of God's promise of everlasting life as though it was a reality. God speaks of things that do not exist as though they do and His saints have done the same.  It was not my intent to prove the state of the dead in this writing, but rather that there is hope for those who have not known Christ in this current age.  I have found in my many years of studying the scripture that all spiritual things are linked together as an unbroken chain of truth.  If one speaks of any one topic it will lead to all others link after link.  The word of God can not be broken except in the minds of those to whom it has not been revealed.
The sin of Adam and Eve has been passed on to all of their descendants.  They ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which violated God's command to them.  The tree of life was the other choice God gave them but after Adam and Eve made their decision, the tree of life was closed and sealed from humanity.  The leaven of sin from the spirit of Satan had entered the world.  God has provided a way through his Son, Jesus Christ, for people to purge out the old leaven and become a new lump leavened with the Holy Spirit of God.  Within the symbolism of leaven is the gospel of Jesus Christ.  That is why Jesus spoke this parable.  We know that Jesus spoke in parables to hide the truth from those not intended to receive it in this age, but in the age to come.

KJV Matthew 13:10-16
 10.  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
 11.  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
 12.  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
 13.  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
 14.  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
 15.  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
 16.  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

There is a hope for those who have not known God, who have not been leavened at this time.
The understanding of the symbolism of leaven leads a person to see that there are many teachings in professing Christianity that are not in agreement with the scriptures.  You would not think that a little thing like leaven would produce so much understanding. It is as Jesus said, "he who is faithful in little is faithful in much."
Another very interesting thing about leaven is recorded in Luke 24:30-31

KJV Luke 24:30-31
 30.  And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

The word bread used in verse 30 is the Greek word "artos" Strong's #740 which means bread raised to a loaf or baked with leaven. This event occurred after the resurrection during what would have been the days of unleavened bread of the Jews.  This is how the disciples knew it was Jesus.

KJV Luke 24:35
 35.  And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

Once Jesus had risen He had fulfilled all the symbolism of the ancient Israelite holy days and soon would leaven his disciples with the Holy Spirit.  Jesus ate leavened bread with His disciples during the days of unleavened bread to identify Himself to them.  Indeed Jesus has fulfilled all the ancient holy days by what He did.  Just as we are not required to sacrifice animals or circumcise we are not required to keep holy days.  If Jesus ate leavened bread during the days of unleavened bread He was showing the end of the ancient system.  Jesus was the bread or leaven from heaven sent into the world to leaven the spirits of just men made perfect.  Leaven when properly understood can give spiritual wisdom to the one of faith.
The Greek word for unleavened bread is "azumos" and is Strong's #106 and is the English word "unleavened bread".

Strong's Ref. # 106

Romanized azumos
Pronounced ad'-zoo-mos

From GSN0001 (as a negative particle) and GSN2219; unleavened, i.e. (figuratively) uncorrupted; (in the neutral plural) specially (by implication) the Passover week:

KJV--unleavened (bread).

Strong's Ref. # 740

Romanized artos
Pronounced ar'-tos

From GSN0142; bread (as raised) or a loaf:

KJV-- (shew-) bread, loaf.

KJV John 6:32-35
 32.  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
 33.  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
 34.  Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
 35.  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

The word bread that Jesus uses to call Himself the true bread and the bread from heaven is "artos" or leavened bread.  The bread Jesus used at Passover was leavened bread.  The symbol of leaven has been misunderstood by many.  I hope this book has enlightened you to the meaning of the symbol of leaven.  Jesus is Gods leaven.

THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS
BY
LEE

THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS WERE YEARLY FEASTS COMMANDED BY THE LAW OF MOSES.  ARE THESE ANNUAL FEASTS COMMANDED UPON THE ELECT OF GOD IN THE PRESENT DAY?  THIS IS THE QUESTION AND THE SCRIPTURES CONTAIN THE ANSWER.
ACTS 15:5 "BUT SOME OF THE SECT OF THE PHARISEES WHO BELIEVED ROSE UP SAYING, IT IS NECESSARY TO CIRCUMCISE THEM AND TO COMMAND THEM TO KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES."
THE LAW OF MOSES WAS NOT THE COVENANT OF CIRCUMCISION AS SOME SAY.  THIS VERSE IS TALKING OF TWO DIFFERENT THINGS NAMELY CIRCUMCISION AND THE LAW OF MOSES.  JESUS MAKES THIS FACT PLAIN.

JOHN 7:22 "MOSES THEREFORE GAVE YOU CIRCUMCISION; NOT THAT IT IS FROM MOSES BUT FROM THE FATHERS; AND YOU CIRCUMCISE A MAN ON THE SABBATH."
CHRIST KNEW THAT CIRCUMCISION WAS A COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM AND A PRACTICE THAT ISRAEL ALSO INCORPORATED INTO THE LAW OF MOSES.  THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE COVENANT GIVEN TO ISRAEL.
ROMANS 9:4 "WHO ARE ISRAELITES, TO WHOM PERTAIN THE ADOPTION, THE GLORY, THE COVENANTS, THE GIVING OF THE LAW, THE SERVICE OF GOD AND THE PROMISES."
HERE WE HAVE THREE COVENANTS LISTED; THE GIVING OF THE LAW IS one, THE SERVICE OF GOD IS two AND THE PROMISES three.
THE LAW OF MOSES WAS NOT CIRCUMCISION BECAUSE CIRCUMCISION WAS A COVENANT ESTABLISHED BY GOD WITH ABRAHAM 430 YEARS BEFORE MOSES WROTE THE BOOK OF THE LAW.
THE LAW OF MOSES WAS THE SERVICE OF GOD COVENANT OR NUMBER 2 FROM ROMANS 9:4.  NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR THE LAW OF MOSES WAS COMMANDED FOR THE ELECT TO KEEP.
ACTS 15:24 "SINCE WE HAVE HEARD THAT SOME WHO WENT OUT FROM US (THE SECT OF THE PHARISEES) HAVE TROUBLED YOU WITH WORDS UNSETTLING YOUR SOULS SAYING, YOU MUST BE CIRCUMCISED AND KEEP THE LAW, TO WHOM WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT"
IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THE APOSTLES NEVER COMMANDED THE ELECT TO CIRCUMCISE OR KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES.  TO TRY TO MAKE THE ARGUMENT THAT THESE VERSES SPEAK OF CIRCUMCISION HOLDS NO WATER.

NOW THAT WE SEE THAT THE LAW OF MOSES WAS NOT COMMANDED ON THE ELECT WE MUST FIND OUT WHAT WAS IN THE LAW OF MOSES THAT THE ELECT DO NOT KEEP.
2 CHRONICLES 8:12-13 " THEN SOLOMON OFFERED BURNT OFFERINGS TO THE LORD ON THE ALTAR OF THE LORD WHICH HE HAD BUILT BEFORE THE VESTIBULE.  ACCORDING TO THE DAILY RATE, OFFERING ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT OF MOSES, FOR THE SABBATHS, THE NEW MOONS AND THE THREE APPOINTED YEARLY FEASTS; THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, THE FEAST OF WEEKS AND THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES."
THIS VERSE STATES PLAINLY THAT SACRIFICIAL BURNT OFFERINGS WERE MADE ON THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS AND THAT THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES.
SAMUEL'S FATHER, ELKANAH, KEPT THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS.

1 SAMUEL 1: 3 & 21 "THIS MAN WENT UP FROM HIS CITY YEARLY TO WORSHIP AND SACRIFICE TO THE LORD OF HOSTS IN SHILOH."
"AND THE MAN ELKANAH AND ALL HIS HOUSE WENT UP TO OFFER TO THE LORD THE YEARLY SACRIFICE AND HIS VOW."

THERE ARE NO OTHER TIMES THAT GOD COMMANDED ISRAEL TO SACRIFICE ON AN ANNUAL OR YEARLY CYCLE EXCEPT FOR THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS.
KJV Leviticus 23:37
 37.  These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:

THE VERY REASON THERE WERE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS WAS TO OFFER THE SACRIFICES.

ISRAEL HAD A SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM OF DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY AND ANNUAL SACRIFICES.  THE YEARLY SACRIFICE WAS ALWAYS AT JERUSALEM OR SHILOH IN SAMUEL'S TIME.  THESE VERSES SHOW US THAT THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS WERE THE ANNUAL SACRIFICES OF ANCIENT ISRAEL.  THESE HOLY DAYS ARE NOT COMMANDED TO THE ELECT.
HEBREWS 10: 1-3 "FOR THE LAW, HAVING A SHADOW OF THE GOOD THINGS TO COME AND NOT THE VERY IMAGE OF THE THINGS CAN NEVER WITH THESE SAME SACRIFICES, WHICH THEY OFFERED YEAR BY YEAR, MAKE THOSE WHO APPROACH PERFECT.  FOR THEN WOULD THEY NOT HAVE CEASED TO BE OFFERED?  FOR THE WORSHIPPERS, ONCE PURGED, WOULD HAVE NO MORE CONSCIOUSNESS OF SINS.  BUT IN THOSE SACRIFICES THERE IS A REMINDER OF SINS EVERY YEAR."

1 KINGS 9:25 "NOW THREE TIMES A YEAR SOLOMON OFFERED BURNT OFFERINGS AND PEACE OFFERINGS ON THE ALTAR WHICH HE HAD BUILT FOR THE LORD, AND HE BURNED INCENSE WITH THEM ON THE ALTAR THAT WAS BEFORE THE LORD. SO HE FINISHED THE TEMPLE."
1 CHRONICLES 23:31 "AND AT EVERY PRESENTATION OF A BURNT OFFERING TO THE LORD ON THE SABBATHS AND ON THE NEW MOONS AND ON THE SET FEASTS BY NUMBER ACCORDING TO THE ORDINANCE GOVERNING THEM, REGULARLY BEFORE THE LORD."
2 CHRONICLES 2:4 "BEHOLD, I AM BUILDING A TEMPLE FOR THE NAME OF THE LORD MY GOD, TO DEDICATE IT TO HIM, TO BURN BEFORE HIM SWEET INCENSE, FOR THE CONTINUAL SHOWBREAD, FOR THE BURNT OFFERINGS; MORNING AND EVENING, ON THE SABBATHS, ON THE NEW MOONS AND ON THE SET FEASTS OF THE LORD OUR GOD. THIS IS AN ORDINANCE FOREVER TO ISRAEL."

DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY AND ANNUALLY THE SACRIFICES AND BURNT OFFERINGS WERE MADE ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT OF MOSES.  THIS WAS THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM OF ANCIENT ISRAEL.  THESE SACRIFICES ARE ENDED WHEN ONE COMES TO CHRIST.  TO CONTINUE KEEPING THEM OR TRYING TO SERVE THE TABERNACLE TAKES AWAY ONE'S RIGHT TO EAT OF THE ALTAR OF CHRIST.
HEBREWS 13:10 "FOR WE HAVE AN ALTAR FROM WHICH THOSE WHO SERVE THE TABERNACLE HAVE NO RIGHT TO EAT."
THIS REFERS TO THE ALTAR OF CHRIST THAT THOSE WHO SERVE THE TABERNACLE BY KEEPING HOLY DAYS HAVE NO RIGHT TO EAT, THE PASSOVER OF JESUS THE MESSIAH.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:18 "OBSERVE ISRAEL AFTER THE FLESH; ARE NOT THOSE WHO EAT OF THE SACRIFICES PARTAKERS OF THE ALTAR?"
The holy days are of the flesh and not the Spirit.  Israel's holy day sacrifices were used to feed the people who partook of that fleshly altar.
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT ALL THE PEOPLE, PERHAPS MANY THOUSANDS, ATE THE ANIMALS THAT WERE SACRIFICED.  THIS IS HOW THEY FED THE PEOPLE AT THE FEASTS.
THOSE WHO KEEP THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS ACTUALLY PROFANE THE OLD COVENANT UNLESS THEY OFFER SACRIFICES. JESUS HAS NOT ABOLISHED THE OLD COVENANT.  MATTHEW 5:17-18 MAKES A CLEAR STATEMENT THAT NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE OF THE LAW WILL PASS AWAY TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASSES AWAY.
THE JEWS WERE SACRIFICING UP TILL THE TIME THE ROMANS DESTROYED THE TEMPLE AROUND 70 AD.  THE ELECT OF GOD, THE CHURCH, DID NOT SACRIFICE AND DID NOT KEEP THE HOLY DAYS.

ACTS 18:21 "BUT HE TOOK LEAVE OF THEM SAYING, I MUST BY ALL MEANS KEEP THIS COMING FEAST IN JERUSALEM; BUT I WILL RETURN AGAIN TO YOU, GOD WILLING. AND HE SAILED FROM EPHESUS."
SOME SAY THIS IS PROOF THAT PAUL KEPT THE FEASTS.  IF THIS IS TRUE WHY DID THE PEOPLE HE SPOKE TO NOT GO WITH HIM TO KEEP THE FEAST? THERE WAS A PROPHET NAMED AGABUS, WHO SAID PAUL WOULD BE DELIVERED INTO THE HANDS OF HIS ENEMIES AND TAKEN TO ROME. (ACTS 21:10-14) IN HIS ADVANCE LETTER TO THE ROMANS PAUL ADDRESSED THIS SITUATION.
ROMANS 15:31-32 "THAT I MAY BE DELIVERED FROM THOSE IN JUDEA WHO DO NOT BELIEVE, AND THAT MY SERVICE FOR JERUSALEM MAY BE ACCEPTABLE TO THE SAINTS, THAT I MAY COME TO YOU WITH JOY BY THE WILL OF GOD AND MAY BE REFRESHED TOGETHER WITH YOU."

PAUL KNEW HE WOULD GET INTO TROUBLE AT THE FEAST IN JERUSALEM AND BE SENT TO ROME BECAUSE OF AN APPEAL TO CAESAR. THIS IS WHY HE WENT TO JERUSALEM.
THE JEWS THAT RETURNED TO JERUSALEM WITH NEHEMIAH REVIVED THE COVENANT AND REBUILT THE CITY.

NEHEMIAH 10: 29 "THEY JOINED WITH THEIR BRETHREN, THEIR NOBLES AND ENTERED INTO A CURSE AND AN OATH TO WALK IN GOD'S LAW WHICH WAS GIVEN BY MOSES THE SERVANT OF GOD AND TO OBSERVE AND DO ALL THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD OUR LORD AND HIS ORDINANCES AND HIS STATUTES"

NOTICE THEY ENTERED A CURSE AND AN OATH. OATHS WERE FORBIDDEN BY JESUS SO HOW COULD ONE SWEAR AN OATH TO KEEP THE LAW?   THE CURSE OF THE LAW AND THE OATH MADE THEM DEBTORS TO KEEP THE WHOLE LAW.  THIS HAS NOT CHANGED EVEN TO OUR DAY. ONLY UNDER GRACE OFFERED IN THE NEW COVENANT CAN A PERSON ESCAPE THE LAW AND THE WORKS OF THE LAW TO BECOME SELF-RIGHTEOUS BY THE LAW.  RIGHTEOUSNESS COMES BY FAITH AND THE JUST LIVE BY FAITH.  THE LAW HAD NO FAITH BUT IF YOU WERE UNDER THE LAW YOU LIVED BY THE LAW.
NUMBERS 28 & 29 OUTLINES THE ENTIRE SYSTEM OF SACRIFICES. I CHALLENGE THE READER TO FIND ANY EVIDENCE THAT ISRAEL AS A NATION OFFERED SACRIFICES ON ANY OTHER DAYS THAN THOSE COMMANDED BY MOSES IN THE LAW.  THE SCRIPTURES PROVE THAT THE ANNUAL HOLY DAYS WERE THE ANNUAL SACRIFICES THAT ARE ENDED ONLY FOR THE ELECT WHO COME TO CHRIST.  THE REST OF THE WORLD IS YET UNDER THE WHOLE LAW AND CONDEMNED UNDER SIN.  THE GALATIANS WERE GENTILES WHO STARTED TO CIRCUMCISE AND KEEP DAYS, MONTHS, SEASONS AND YEARS.

GALATIANS 4:10 "YOU OBSERVE DAYS AND MONTHS AND SEASONS AND YEARS. I AM AFRAID FOR YOU, LEST I HAVE LABORED FOR YOU IN VAIN."
SOME SAY THAT THE DAYS KEPT BY THE GALATIANS WERE PAGAN DAYS.  IF THIS IS TRUE WHY WOULD PAUL MAKE THIS COMMENT?

GALATIANS 4:21 "TELL ME, YOU WHO DESIRE TO BE UNDER THE LAW, DO YOU NOT HEAR THE LAW?"
THE GALATIANS WERE DESIRING TO BE UNDER THE LAW AND WERE CIRCUMCISING THEIR MALE CHILDREN AND KEEPING THE HOLY DAYS; THEY HAD TURNED TO PRACTICING THE LAW OF MOSES.  GALATIA WAS A REGION IN SYRIA THAT THE APOSTLES WROTE TO (ACTS 15:23) CONCERNING THE SECT OF THE PHARISEES (ACTS 15:24) WHO TRIED TO COMMAND THE ELECT TO CIRCUMCISE AND KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES. (ACTS 15:5)  THE GALATIANS RECEIVED A STRONG REBUKE FROM PAUL WHO SPOKE OF THE LAW IN HIS ATTACK UPON THEIR ACTIONS. THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PAGANISM BUT RATHER JUDAISM.
ALL THE THINGS CONTAINED IN THE LAW OF MOSES DO NOT APPLY TO THE ELECT AND WERE NEVER COMMANDED ON THE CHURCH.
ACTS 21:21 IS SAID BY SOME TO BE A LIE SPOKEN ABOUT PAUL BUT IT WAS A TRUE STATEMENT.

ACTS 21:21 "BUT THEY HAVE BEEN INFORMED ABOUT YOU THAT YOU TEACH ALL THE JEWS WHO ARE AMONG THE GENTILES TO FORSAKE MOSES, SAYING THAT THEY OUGHT NOT TO CIRCUMCISE THEIR CHILDREN NOR WALK ACCORDING TO THE CUSTOMS."

PAUL DID TEACH THESE THINGS.  PAUL AND THE REST OF THE APOSTLES KNEW THE HOLY DAYS WERE THE SACRIFICES AND THAT IS WHY THEY DID NOT TEMPT GOD AND PLACE THE YOKE OF THE LAW ON THE DISCIPLES. ACTS 15:10

THERE ARE SOME CHURCHES TODAY WHO STILL KEEP THESE DAYS BUT HAVE PROFANED THE STRICT LETTER OF THE LAW CONCERNING THEM.  REMEMBER CHRIST SAID NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE WILL PASS FROM THE LAW TILL ALL IS FULFILLED.  THE LAW YET SERVES TO CONDEMN ALL BUT THE ELECT AS SINNERS.
KJV Romans 3:19
 19.  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

NOTICE HERE IT IS THE ALL THE WORLD THAT WILL BE CONDEMNED BY THE LAW WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SAINTS.

KJV Romans 3:9
 9.  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW AND BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES ARE UNDER THE LAW.

KJV Hebrews 9:15
 15.  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

PEOPLE WHO COME TO GRACE ESCAPE THE LAW BEING PURCHASED BY THE BLOOD OF MESSIAH AND BROUGHT INTO OR “PASSOVER” INTO THE NEW COVENANT HAVING SINS FORGIVEN AND THE HOPE OF BEING A JOINT HEIR WITH JESUS IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION.
When Moses delivered the law to Israel he made this comment;
KJV Deuteronomy 29:14-15
14.  Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
 15.  But with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

IF YOU ARE NOT UNDER GRACE THEN YOU ARE UNDER THE LAW EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF IT.  THOSE UNDER THE LAW ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP THE WHOLE LAW, ALL OF IT.  CHURCHES WHO DABBLE IN THE LAW DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE NEW COVENANT.  They profane the covenant of their fathers. YOU ARE EITHER UNDER THE LAW OR UNDER GRACE, YOU MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO TREES OF EDEN.  CHURCHES THAT KEEP ANY PART OF THE LAW BY COMMAND OR TRADITION FAIL TO SEE THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST AND THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.  THEY IN EFFECT COMBINE PARTS OF EACH OF THE COVENANTS TOGETHER INTO A LUKEWARM MIXTURE.
The sacrifice of Jesus did not abolish the law but rather provided a way for those called to receive the Holy Spirit to escape the law and come under grace.  Jesus said that not one jot or tittle of the law will pass away until heaven and Earth pass away.
KJV Matthew 5:18
18.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Heaven and Earth pass away in Revelation 21:1.
KJV Revelation 21:1
 1.  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

This is when all things will be fulfilled and there will be no more flesh and blood people for the law to deal with because former humans at this time will be glorified spirit beings like Jesus.
One of the intents of the law is to lead us to Christ but if the law was abolished by Christ how would this be possible?
KJV Galatians 3:23-25
 23.  But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
 24.  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
 25.  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Without the law still in force there would be no sin to be saved from and no sinners in the world and no need of a savior.

Creating Love

The spirit of man is the breath of life from God.  Life is in the spirit and not the body.  Thought and memory is in the spirit and not the body.  Matter is not alive or intelligent, the spirit is.

KJV Genesis 2:7
 7.  And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

KJV Job 27:3
 3.  All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

KJV Job 33:4
 4.  The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

KJV Job 34:14-15
14.  If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
 15.  All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

ASV Job 32:8
 8.  But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

KJV Ecclesiastes 3:19-21
19.  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
 20.  All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
 21.  Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

KJV Isaiah 42:5
 5.  Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

KJV Ezekiel 37:8-9
8.  And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
 9.  Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

KJV Acts 17:24-25
 24.  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
 25.  Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Man is a beast and his physical life is of the same combination of dust and breath as all other animals.  It is the spirit of the beast that is in the shadow image of God.  God is love and His reason for creating man was to make man after His image, to make man love as God is love.  God is creating love.

KJV Exodus 20:1-6
1.  And God spake all these words, saying,
 2.  I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
 3.  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
 4.  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
 5.  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
 6.  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

KJV Leviticus 19:17-18
17.  Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
 18.  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

KJV Leviticus 19:33-34
33.  And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
 34.  But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

KJV Deuteronomy 6:4-5
4.  Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord:
 5.  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

KJV Deuteronomy 7:9
 9.  Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

KJV Deuteronomy 10:12
 12.  And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

KJV Joshua 23:11
 11.  Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.

KJV Psalms 18:1
 1.  I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

KJV Psalms 116:1-2
1.  I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
 2.  Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

KJV Psalms 145:20
 20.  The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

KJV Matthew 5:43-48
 43.  Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
 44.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
 45.  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
 46.  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
 47.  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
 48.  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

KJV Matthew 22:37-39
 37.  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
 38.  This is the first and great commandment.
 39.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

KJV Luke 6:35-36
35.  But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
 36.  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

KJV John 13:34-35
 34.  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
 35.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

KJV John 14:15
 15.  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

KJV John 14:21
21.  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

KJV John 15:9
 9.  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

KJV John 15:12
 12.  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

KJV Romans 5:5
 5.  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

KJV Romans 5:8
 8.  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

KJV Romans 8:28
28.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

KJV Romans 8:38-39
 38.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
 39.  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

KJV Romans 13:8
 8.  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

KJV Romans 13:10
 10.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

KJV 1 Corinthians 2:9
 9.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

KJV 1 Corinthians 8:3
 3.  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

KJV Galatians 5:22
 22.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love

KJV 1 John 3:11
 11.  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

KJV 1 John 3:18
18.  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

KJV 1 John 4:7-11
 7.  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
 8.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
 9.  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
 10.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
 11.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

KJV 1 John 4:12
12.  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

KJV 1 John 4:16-21
 16.  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
 17.  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
 18.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
 19.  We love him, because he first loved us.
 20.  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
 21.  And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

KJV Jude 1:21
 21.  Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto everlasting life.

Jesus of Nazareth was Gods example to us of Gods love, the man Jesus was love as God is love.  Love is the fulfillment of the law.

The Law is Written in Our Hearts

The Ten Commandments were written on tables of stone but not in our hearts.

ASV Psalms 44:21
 21.  Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

God knows all our thoughts, words and deeds; God knows our hearts.  The law, by command, could change our outward behavior but not our inner motivation.  When the bible speaks of the heart it is speaking of the human spirit that is what we are and it is this human spirit that God values.

ASV Proverbs 16:1-2
1.  The plans of the heart belong to man; But the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.
 2.  All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But Jehovah weigheth the spirits.

Your human spirit is the heart of man, the center of mans being. Heart=human spirit. Salvation is for the human spirit.

ASV Mark 7:21-23
 21.  For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,
 22.  covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness:
 23.  all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.

Sin or defilement is in our human spirit or heart.  The law could punish outward actions but not inner thoughts.

ASV Romans 2:28-29
 28.  For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh:
 29.  but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

God can circumcise our heart or spirit by cutting off sin in our nature over time as we grow in grace and knowledge.
God circumcises sin inwardly and not the foreskin outwardly.

ASV Hebrews 4:12
 12.  For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

KJV Isaiah 51:7
 7.  Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

The writing of the law in the heart is a changing of our spirit, our nature, so that it is not by command that we obey but by desire and nature. We begin to take on the nature of God as demonstrated to us by Messiah.  Our will agrees with Gods will for us and we freely submit to God so that God can work in us.  We become free moral agents at conversion whereas before we were slaves to sin.

KJV Jeremiah 29:13
 13.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

KJV Jeremiah 31:33
 33.  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

God writes His law in our inner man that makes a change in our spirit.  The law could not change our nature. The converts on Pentecost were circumcised in heart or spirit and asked, what shall we do? They were cut to the heart.

The Strongs article for the word "heart" below says that it is our feelings, will or intellect. These functions are of the spirit of man or our human spirit and this law God writes in our spirit is a change in our human nature that was unable by tables of stone to be righteous.  God gives the saints His Holy Spirit which is the power we need to keep the intent of the law that is Godly love.

Strong's Ref. # 3820
Romanized  leb
Pronounced labe
a form of HSN3824; the heart; also used (figuratively) very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect; likewise for the centre of anything:

KJV--+ care for, comfortably, consent, X considered, courag[-eous], friend[-ly], ([broken-], [hard-], [merry-], [stiff-], [stout-], double) heart([-ed]), X heed, X I, kindly, midst, mind(-ed), X regard([-ed)], X themselves, X unawares, understanding, X well, willingly, wisdom.

This explains the idea of the outer flesh being different than the inner man of spirit or how the physical Jew differs from the spiritual Jew.  He is not a Jew who is one outwardly in the flesh that tried to keep the law written on tables of stone and performed carnal works of the law of Moses.  You become a spiritual Jew, a spiritual Israelite, if God writes His law in your spirit.  This law is the ten commandments condensed to two commandments of Love God and neighbor.  Love is an emotion, a feeling, a will and part of our intellect.  Gods love is made a part of us and empowers us with a new nature and sound mind.  Love passes knowledge and wisdom. Gods love cannot sin when we apply it in our lives.

KJV Ephesians 3:19
 19.  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Gods love in the saints is the fulfillment of what the law demanded by command and is given to the saints as a gift by faith.  This is how God works in the saints and the saints no longer work in the law.  The faith in us is proven by the works of Gods love in us otherwise faith without works would be dead.  It is the works of God manifested through the saint who has faith and not the works of someone under the law that was not of faith.

Love Fulfills the Law

Scripture says that love is the fulfillment of the law.  1Corinthians 13 is a chapter about Gods love. Human beings do not have Gods love by nature, it is given by the Holy Spirit.

ASV Romans 5:5
5.  and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us

If you desire to live the way Jesus lived and fulfill the law the way Jesus did then you must have the love of God in you by the Holy Spirit.  The love of God cannot sin and is the heart and core of all true doctrine; if you love with the love of God you will fulfill the intent of any law and be correctly following all doctrine.  The greatest commandment of all is to love God and the second to love neighbor; if people would be empowered to do this it would begin to fulfill all things.  Jesus did not fulfill the law by keeping the torah but by the love of God.

ASV Romans 13:10
 10.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.

People who have been given the Holy Spirit are not under the torah but under Gods love.  The torah could not give this love or produce it in man.  The torah cannot change the nature of man but Gods spirit can.  We have had the torah for thousands of years and all it has done is to condemn man for his sin and has no remedy, no cure for sin.  If the torah could change the nature of men then why hasn’t it worked?  The torah shows man his problem and kills them for their sins.  Gods love can cure the problem and forgives man of his sins.  The torah is holy, just and good to do what it does but it cannot provide for all the wonderful things that come by grace in the holy spirit.  Many are confused as to how a man can be Godly or Christ like if they do not keep the torah.  Neither God or Jesus keeps the Torah; they are both love by nature and righteous in their natural state of being and need no laws to guide them.  Because God and Jesus are both love we need to enter this love and become of their nature.  This requires faith to leave the torah and come to Gods love.

WHAT IS THE LESSON OF THE BOOK OF JOB ?

Most think that the lesson of the book of Job is one of the following or some combination;  learn to trust GOD even when we cannot understan...
